We went there in June and it wasnt listed as closed.We had already paid for overpriced parking so we stayed in the city. Luxemburg is way overprotective, food is almost twice as expensive as in Germany. So is all the shopping. The culture is not worth the price. I recommend visiting Trier instead !

Wij gingen daar dus in, 2x 15 euro voor de kaartjes. Gids was onverstaanbaar, veel te netjes van binnen, geen avontuur, na 30 min sta je weer buiten. Buiten is het daar overigens wel prachtig , maar die tour sla ik liever voortaan over

A nice tourist attraction photo spot for people to clip good picture with an awesome background of the old world building structures! It gets crowded with tourists during early and mid-day. A mandatory place to visit and capture your Luxembourg 🇱🇺 travel!

The Casemates belong to the UNESCO World Heritage. They originated at a time when the Spanish were modernising mediaeval works and building large bastions, such as that of the Beck, whose platform is occupied by the present Place de la Constitution (Constitution Square).

Nice journey into the past of the Luxembourg Fortress from the XVII Century up to WW 2. Lots of Steps to climb. Not suited for disabled people.

Bring a light (the phone, lantern, etc.As some áreas are poorly lighted. As it is almost a cave and some spiral staircases, appropiate shoes help. Do not miss the views from both sides, specially the views of the Abbey.
