Petra Night Restaurant in At Tafilah

Fantastic food! So delicious! We were two families with kids, tried a variety of meat dishes and fish. All was amassing! No alcohol served but you can bring your own though if you are interested. Very nice service. It was a GREAT place to finish a busy day in Petra!

Food was delicious! Service wa friendly but not too friendly and the atmosphere was really nice. Perhaps was a bit expensive though.

Food was increíble, in our 3 days stand in Petra we went 3 times. Musakhan chicken was my favorite. Good environment, very confortable and a lot of hospitality

Food was great. The owner showed me how to eat the dish and was helpful throughout the experience. Some say "tourist trap" and it may seem like it is because of its proximity to Petra, but it was a pleasant surprise.

Staff was very friendly, professional, and welcoming. Very good english and the food was delicious!

Had an excellent meal at Petra Night Restaurant, the mansaf and hibiscus juice where excellent. My group ordered the Musakhan and loved it. The decor was great and so was the service. Definitely visit if you are in the area.

Lovely authentic Jordanian cuisine, beautiful view and even lovelies staff! We were surprised with tea and sweets on the house 😁 this made our Petra experience even better!

Tourists trap…the food is very low quality and the flavours are not ok, almost unbeatable! What they hummus can be anything apart of hummus. Also the staff is a bit cheeky they sale no-alcohol beers as a normal beer, but they don’t tell you at all.You see from the pictures that the food looks beautiful, it is a such shame that the taste is no up to what you would expect, because the place is quiet cool.

We were welcomed.very friendly and the waiter rushed to get us a table.We shared 6 salads with 6 people and 3 main dishes. Salads were small but good. Main course was a bit disappointing.We got offered frozen drinks that were good.But ... the price was a bit too much. 89 JOD for small salads and 3 main courses (chicken, tomatoes 🤔is a lot.

It wasn’t good at all. The worst hummus and muttabal ever tried, they were so acid I couldn’t eat them.The local dish looked scary and was left in the plate.They tried to compensate by bringing more food and giving a discount but the food was just not at a good level.Must say, though, that the staff was really nice and the fries were good. Maybe the chef had a bad day.

We had such an amazing experience at the restaurant. When we first arrived we were welcomed after 6 pm, for the tourists who want to have a warm and super tasty food the restaurant is opened until 00:00, midnight, and had very nice shisha, the plating is more than enough for one person they are very generous.The fresh juice was exactly what we needed after a long day of walking into Petra.Super clean, warm place, excellent service.We will definitely come back to you guys.Thank you so much for your service.

The ambiance was nice and the waiters nice, but the food was relatively expensive and completely tasteless and dry. Pretty sure the 3 JOD coffee was instant coffee

This is the best restaurant by far in Petra. The owner Sakher is just the kindest and most hospitable man.Im a solo female traveller, and I was made to feel so welcome.The restaurant is large, and beautifully decorated with glass walls all around, so you can enjoy the beautiful view of Petra.I had the most delicious Manseff dish, which was the best meal I had in Jordan.Great service, great manager, great food.

High prices , small portions, mediocre tastes. Only fries were fresh of the Musakhen, which was not the real dish but a thin wrap with tiny, burned chicken pieces. Excuse: well, this is a very tourist-y place. I understand, tourists can be overcharged and under-served. Avoid!

Tourist trap. AVOID! As other reviews below, I dont get were the good ones are coming from. We got two dishes and drinks for three people and we paid 38 JOD (48€!!!out of which 12% was service fees 😳 The mixed grill, as seen in the picture, was pretty pathetic; the meat was overcooked and hard to chew. The mushakhan chicken dish was just fine. The staff was polite and the place was nice, but, honestly, we regretted wasting our money there. There are way better options to dine in Petra.

Food was nice but unfortunately it was cold. Other than that okay, but nothing special.

Shameful. They offered us an alcoholic beer and it had less than 01°. We tried to eat something simple for dinner like chicken and was burned and dry. Too much expensive and small quantity. Furthermore the waiters said us to recommend them on trip apps.

The Restaurant is okay. You have a good view and the restaurant is clean. Prices are more expensive as in other places around, but unfortunatelly not the quality.We have 3 pre dishes, they looked good, but two of them without spice. The bread was packed in plastic bags and not really fresh. The main dishes looks also nice but the frites were slouchy and the rice over cooked.You could eat all, we were full up and the service tried their best. We think they are more occupied with themself.However, they were friendly and obliging.

Can’t understand why there are so many positive reviews. We ordered salad, hummus and a mixed grill. The salad and hummus were okay, however the mixed grill consisted of 3 small skewers of meat, all of which were over cooked and bland. One was even coated in ketchup. To top it off the meal was extremely expensive and far more expensive than other restaurants in the area.

This place has it all! Great food, a beautiful view and hospitality I will probably remember for the rest of my life. Thank you.

Excellent food and service. Jeff is really hospitable. He was very accommodating with our large group at short notice and even taught us a local dance. Five stars. Recommended.

Why would you ever eat at your hotel in Petra when this place is right around the corner. The food was authentic and amazing. The owner warmly welcomed and served us, and his wife and brother cooked us a delicious meal. Our family will be talking about this meal as one of the highlights of our trip to Jordan.

I came because the reviews were good and I wasnt disappointed. I ordered Mansaf and guava juice both which were delicious. Jeff came over and corrected me because I thought the sauce was soup 😂.This place has a nice vibe, a friendly staff, great views and a great WiFi connection...But it is a little pricey- 12 JD for each dish and then a 15% service charge

Our driver recommended this place and it was absolutely DELICIOUS, so much that we ate there two days in a row. We had the traditional dish of Mansaf - a lamb dish with rice and an outstanding broth. The second day we had a chicken dish very similar to a paella and it was also fantastic - upside down Maklouv. An absolute place to go if you are in Petra. The owner Jeff and all the staff is extremely friendly 🙂

Jeff is a friendly host and made us feel welcome. The food is good, really fresh and tasty. He could just go a bit more easy with the lemon in the food. The place is easy to reach and has a nice, large terasse. All in all recommended
