The museum could need a bit of work but not too bad if you have a free day to pop over and learn about the many things we take for granted of, like what was PJ before it became a sprawling urban township. Very interesting insights to the background and backstory of PJ

This museum is a hidden gem. It shows you the way of life from Petaling Jaya as a tin mining town from pre independence day

Didnt go there for so long time ago. If you are craving to know more malaysia history.This is the absolute best place for you..But Ill give my 1st priority to national museum in kl sentral area. It is just opposite St Regis Hotel.. A lot childhood memories can be found back here..

This is a small/mini single storey museum nestled in Taman Jaya. It is not visibly obvious from roads or highways and can be located once you are in the park.It is a decent museum and it curates information about the city of Petaling Jaya. As the museum is small, a visitor is able to complete the self tour within 15 to 30 minutes(depending on the activity). Souvenirs are available for purchase but the range is limited(pens, cups, keychains and notepads). There is a gallery where themed exhibitions are held occasionally.Entrance is free but visitors are required to sign the visitors book before entering.

It is the place where you can know the history of the local area.

It had a lot of exhibits. But maybe it should be relocated to another place where it may get more visitors. Most people come to the park to just exercise.

Informative.Lousy diorama. Not exactly world class. Just passable.Plus side: its free!

Great 30mins Walk thru to add ur knowledge about Petaling Jaya. When I went there, nobody is there except me.

A touch of history... many pictures and many explenations also in English. There are few setups which are nice... I will upload a picture. The entry is free but you need to sign in the registry. It wont take you more than 15 minutes if you read all the explenations to visit everything.

There are many old pictures of the Old Petaling Jaya to show the transformations over a fifty years period to what it is now a "Metropolitan".

Very small museum, some effort to curate. Reception is reception, not tasked as tour guide, did not see booklets. The relic Presidents car is curious - its not exactly special

Very nice museum, but with very poor, unfriendly, and impolite staff. English translation is available throughout the main exhibition, not the temporary one. Awful fake cleaning/"good" smell (stench, I should sayall throughout the museum. Oh, and dont expect any English spoken (or tried to be understoodby the entrance / information staff. One last thing: there SEEMS to be a library/archive room available, to anyone or so it looks like. Great view of the park all over the museum!

used to be a pokemon hotspot, not sure why its not anymore
