Peruvian Terrace - Peruvian restaurant in Managua, Nicaragua
The food was lovely, we had the Causa de pulpo and really enjoyed it. The vibe was also nice and the service good (the waiter was super nice), although a bit slow.
Very special food!
Very recommended place. The food was awesome. The lomito a little bit on the salty side and our waiter forgot to bring a coffee (thats why I didnt give them the 5 starsbut those things are minor. I would go again and ask the cook to not add the standard amount of salt lol. The prices were ok. If youre coming from the states ne prepared to pay with dollars (all prices are in that currency). Again, the food worth it! Enjoy your visit!
Lovely dining area with the best pisco sours in Managua
I was curious about this place when I first saw it in Maps, so I decided to find out myself if dishes were so good as described by other people... And I found out that they absolutely have great tasting dishes. The place itself is a terrace by all means, fresh and surrounded by a garden. Quiet as it is, turns out to be a good option to have a talk while enjoying great food. The service was fast and the waiter was such a friendly and professional person, he stepped by every 30 minutes to check if we needed anything.Prices are more than fair for the flavors and exoticness of some dishes, and the portions are perfect, not to much, not too little.I would go again anytime, preferably in the afternoon (I went in the evening this timeto enjoy the colors of the garden.
Closed due to Semana Santa! No update at all and no phone call answers
One of the best Peruvian restaurants in Managua. Good food good service!!
The food here is quite pricey but everything we had tasted really well and the service and ambient was very nice. There is a lot of airflow in the terrace and plenty of distance between one table and the other. Overall a good experience. The pineapple smoothie was nice.
Last night I finally made it into this little good oasis. I have been to many restaurants across Nicaragua and I feel it is fair to say in general the food is fresh and made with fresh ingredients, but I find the food to be plane and lacking in anything other than natural raw flavor of the meats and few vegetables that can be found. But this place has taken several cultures and begun to mix real flavorful food with amazing local ingredients and presented in a beautiful manner in a very traffic free street and literally a place of refuge from the normal smells and noises of Managua. The food is very fairly priced in my opinion. The service is a little on the slow side. Which makes for a nice relaxing dining experience. I came to visit for dinner and then again for lunch. Both made for great experiences. For dinner I was able to try Anticuhos de filete res, very tender, perfectly cooked, with lots of flavor. Papa Rellena came looking not perfect but once I cut inside wow was I happy with that explosion of flavors. Ceviche de camarones was presented on a plate and I really enjoyed the flavors the shrimp seemed to be fresh and I was satisfied. For lunch I did a bit of a stretch and couldnt quite finish. But I went with Locro to start and thought I was getting into something vegetarian because of the bold title on the menu. (I didnt read the fine printhaha no very vegetarian after all. Buuut extremely good. I loved. Next up was the Causa with pulpo. That beautiful little volcano of delicious opened up to show pure happiness. But then came these little fried? Baked? Balls called Yuquitas. Such a delicate outer shell and a creamy delicious hot inner. Good choice of mellow Latin music and set to a good level for enjoying company and conversation. Absolutely delightful place.
Too expensive
Really nice food and actually taste as real peruvian meals!
Love the flavors
Good service and delicious food
Just came back from lunch at this place. I left Peru almost 6 years ago and was eager to eat some of their best dishes again. I thought I found a place I would love to have some tasting flash backs but it didnt. The service was good, the prices a bit high for the amount served. The flavors didnt remind me much of my days in Peru but yet again, Nicaragua doesnt have all the spices and ingredients either.
Great Peruvian cuisine, great pisco sour, great prices. Highly recommended
Excellent for a real Peruvian food.
Absolutely enjoyed this place. Large menu to choose from, romantic and comfortable setting. A whole group of us went. The food was delicious, service is exceptional and the security guard is the absolute best guy, who does and incredible job.
Delicious food
Amazing
Very tasty.
Delicious food. Definitely worth eating out here.
Ceviche was too sour and the waitress took too long to take my order or check in with me even though there were few customers. Some of the dishes were overpriced. What I did like was the extensive menu and ambiance.
Rico ceviches.
Ok
Best seafood in Managua.
Love it!!!
Truly yummy Peruvian food. The fresh fruit drinks were exquisite, too.
Great peruvian food. Probably the best in Managua and the one that has been around the longest.
The food is amazing and the prices are very affordable. If you go, Ill recommend you to try the Lomo Saltado or the Calamari... Trust me, youll want more of it after! Also the service is excellent! Ill definitely go back on my next visit.

The food was great and delicious, and the costumer service was very good; authentic Peruvian food. The prices are very down to earth and go along with the quality of the food.

Authentic Peruvian cuisine with a great atmosphere and excellent service! absolutely loved it
Very good food, authentic peruvian
We have lived in Managua for 18 months now and have tried many places to eat, we have been very disappointed with many but this was definately one we will be happy to go back to. The surroundings are very nice, the food is of great quality and the sweets delicious (we are from the UK and all our restaraunts serve sweets (puddingswhich is not the case here. They have a good website with a full menu - a rarity here in Nicaragua. The staff were lovely but perhaps a bit forgeful - we did have to remind them of additional ordets. The Sangria first class too. Great night out well worth more visits.
The staff was amazing! The food was incredible! Exactly what I wanted on my last night in town.
Excellent ceviche, service and price. Ive been several times. Going back tonight.
the green leafy surroundings and the pesto are the highlights - tons of choices on the menu and the food is great...the service is hit or miss but this place is never empty...
Great food if you like spices and keep an open mind :)
Excellent restaurant with reasonable prices (main plate starting at US$ 8). Good food and excellent service. We have a two year old toddler and he feels very comfortable there.
