Privilege
Healthy, mild, authentic Iranian food. Lovely environment.
Incredible place to go in a group - but definitely book!
Ordered 2 wrap meals with a note for Arabic cheese wraps. Paid £27. Received 1 falafel wrap meal.
MoreMouth-watering multi course set menu for £25pp Inc soft drinks, all big portions. A grade above your average meal out!
MoreOne of the best restaurants in the area.
Food was absolutely amazing, atmosphere was lovely, but service was slow and it didnt seem like the waiters knew what they were doing. Would recommend :)
MoreThe best! Mind-blowingly good vegan food and lovely staff. Absolutely wonderful!
Been a few times now, latest time we got a couple of affogatos which were sensational. Great value as well. Already planning our next visit.
MoreIts neither restaurant (coffee shop), nor Persian. We walked a long way to reach there and realised its a vegetarian/Mediterranean Coffee shop...I hope the taste of their foods would be fine.
MoreIm not vegetarian, actually I cant imagine my self without meat but this place was amazing with great flavours
MoreVegetarian place with a makeshift hippie vibe. You get a set menu and kinda get what you are given for a fixed price. You can BYO for no charge. Food was ok.
MoreTiny tiny cute place, very good food and lovely people as well!
tried the mezze plate and a couple of other dishes for dinner, it was pretty good but a bit too heavy for my taste
MoreWe loved this Persian restaurant! It is so unique and every single dish was absolutely delicious! BYOB restaurant which is perfect for a dinner with friends. Also the staff is super friendly and the service is quick, finally the portions are massive so make sure you come ready for it!
MoreThe feasting menu lives up to its name! Waddled out of here after countless delicious courses that went beautifully with the soft drinks on the menu and the bottle of wine we brought and cracked open with no fee. The dishes were well presented, the staff enthusiastic and knowledgeable but not overbearing, and the ambience was a delight. Would be great for a group.
MoreI have been wanting to eat at Persepolis for some time. I already had the Persepolis in Peckham cookbook; had ordered exotic goods such as dried limes and tamarind syrup during lockdown; cooked a few dishes fairly successfully. Finally, I was going to my Shangri-la. It didnt disappoint. We were served by Mrs Shopkeeper herself (aka Sally Butcher). In the evening you can only have the meze but...what a meeting! Its all vegetarian or vegan; its no problem if you have an allergy; its byo booze with no corkage charged. The different dishes were amazing - halloumi that tasted like sticky toffee pudding was my favourite. Its a Persian cafe that is a piece of heaven. I even bought a copy of Snackistan - which Sally very kindly signed for me. No Del Boy but a very wonderful reason to trot over to Peckham.
MoreBeen past this restaurant a few times and it’s always been busy. Tried the tasting menu at the restaurant and it was amazing. Food was well presented, tasted lovely with all the flavours and was a good portion size. It’s a BYO restaurant, take a bottle of wine. Would recommend coming to this restaurant to try the food and have a enjoyable experience.
MoreOnly had the hot drink offerings, but they were excellent. If we return it will definitely be for food also. Plus, a really great place to buy a Persian rice cooker.
MoreReally pleased to have stopped by and had a lovely meal! It is the first time I have visited a restaurant that is Vegetarian based. It is definitely the kind of place you go to and try different things on the menu each time. The portion sizes here are very generous and will leave you stuffed. Food was very flavoursome! My only downside was the cups given looked ‘well used’ 🥴
MoreThe food was nothing to write home about, honestly. The dish tasted like a microwaved ready meal and was undercooked and dry. And the service forgot things Id asked for about 3 times. The teas are quite nice, however. The place is cute and has good decor but you cant skate by on scenery.
MoreHad an amazing meal for £20. It was 4 courses and had a lot of different foods to taste. I would highly recommend that and the date and cinnamon milkshake. The staff were friendly and helpful.
MorePersepolis is truly the jewel of Peckham. It always has a great atmosphere, warm welcoming staff and last but not least, delicious mouth watering food and drink. You will not be disappointed with the variety of vegetarian/vegan/gluten free dishes they have to offer, the staff go above and beyond to cater for your dietary needs. You can BYOB and its wew cheap!
MoreTasty food, good vibes. Really cool Decoration and lovely staff. The photo doesnt do it justice, was super tasty and perfect poached eggs.
MoreBrilliant service. Bang for your buck. Dont know why I never visited this place growing up here in Peckham. Must recommend!
MoreThe food here is delicious. One of my favourite restaurants in Peckham. Would highly recommend their tasting menu for dinner.
MoreStunning, unusual Persian food served by passionate staff with a quirky, fun atmosphere. We had the tasting menu and for so much food, baklava and a soft drink and hot drink, it was excellent value for £20.
More£20 set menu is very good value (meze, mix of mains, desert and 2 soft drinks- BYOB too which is a plus. Friendly staff and nice laid back atmosphere, with a mix of different people enjoying their evenings. Food is yummy, we were all stuffed by the end and couldn’t get through half the dessert. Would recommend for a tasty, good value meal with friends, make sure you’re hungry!
MoreAmazing Persian restaurant and grocery store in the heart of Pekham, with seasonal fresh pastries. Amazing food, super friendly staff. My favorite Persian corner in South London.
MoreAte in here tonight. Was fantastic!! The staff +owner are so kind. You feel like a guest in their home eating their. So welcoming and understanding. And the food is vegetarian which for me is perfect. They do some sort of set meal for £20 which is what we had and can see in the photos.Food was delicious and takes away the Hassel of choosing, we ate food Id never even heard of before was great. The deal includes starter and desert.Even includes two drinks each coffee, juice, whatever. If you want booze its BYOB. What more can you ask of a place!!Simply amazing, would be good for a different, cute date.
MoreGreat place. Lovely selection of vegan and vegetarian food with a wide range of options to try. Helpful and nice staff, good portions, and a good price. Really nice atmosphere too
MoreAmazing!Very lovely small restaurant in Peckham, staff is very nice and polite and the food is very tasty! It’s all clearly homemade and all vegetarian. You don’t feel like you’re missing out by eating vegetarian, I’ll come back for sure!
MoreI had ordered few things online, quick delivery and It arrived very well packed. The free diary and saffron, brought a smile to my face :such a nice touch .The products were fresh and I am very happy with my order. Will definitely order from you again, and would love to visit your store one day :.Thank you and wish you a happy Nowrooz.
MoreGreat place and very nice food with a lot of options served. If you are vegetarian or vegan, this place is great. However, I personally found the tasting menu bit expensive (20 quid plus SCas per the setup/ambience. Also, the hygiene levels could have been better as dishes were chipped and glasses werent the cleanest!Overall average experience, might not visit again!
MoreIts all about the food. Such good value and beautifully prepared. Lovely staff who made our visit safe and welcoming. Will definitely come back again.
MoreGreat food, great atmosphere.Im genuinely surprised by the good. Probably the best place in a mile radius.Staff is very friendly and place has an authentic, but chilled vibe.Food was seriously delicious and portions were generous.Highly recommended.Prices are also very friendly.
MoreWe bumped into this interesting colourful and busy Persian restaurant when walking around Peckham area. Were not normally go to any Persian restaurant, but we kinda liked what we saw from the window, so we decided to give it a try. 😀This place changed my mind and opinion about Persian food. It is actually has lots of variation that can be cooked and served beautifully. 😍On the first pic, its a Jackfruit and Mushroom shawarma. It was mind blowingly amaziiiingggg. 🤤The rice dish was a Persian classic. It is rice cooked with some spices, including tumeric. Its also has some raisins and pomegranate sprinkles on the top and not sure what was the long irange thingy that taste more like pepper skin, but Im nit too sure, however this mysterious thing is cooked with some bits of sugar that added some interesting flavour to the rice. 😍Very nice cuisine indeed! The drinks menubwas also interesting. I had a carrot juice with vanilla ice cream float and he had a dates smoithie with cinnamon, which both were soo yummy! Very recommended to come and try! ☺️ The place is actually a shop and a place where the owner lives. You can buy some interesting spices and some Persian diary products from the shop, including some traditional ice cream wafers that looked tasty. Furthermore, they also have lovely baklava too! We were too full after eating-in, so we didnt buy anything from the store. 😁
MoreMiddle Eastern food and vibes at this cozy wacky veggie establishment. I loved the broccoli, some of the dishes are better than others. Great spot for all things veggie/vegan, including the shop which is the front of the restaurant. Nice place to buy fresh dates, spices etc
MoreThe owner Sally Butcher has written a number of cookbooks - one of which I own (Veggiestan). I finally got round to visiting today with some friends. We went for the £20 tasting menu. And it was fantastic. I forgot to take pictures of everything as we just couldnt help diving into the food. But everything was absolutely delicious. The service is friendly, the place is relaxed, it was just perfect for a Sunday afternoon. Will definitely be back.
MoreOn the pictures you can see the kufta and jackfruit shoarma. It’s all vegetarian/vegan.It looks like a shop from the outside, but very cosy restaurant inside. The meals are interesting for very reasonable price and lots of teas and drinks of their own recipes worth trying. Absolutely loved it! Ps:food includes raw onion so make sure to let stuff know if you have a problem with it like me ;)
MoreFantastic vegetarian restaurant with an amazing value set menu (£15-£20 depending on what drinks/desserts you get). Really nice to order without know what you’ll get, we had a great mezze selection and then a halloumi, fig and pomegranate main. Only dish that wasn’t 100% was the final lentil soup. BYOB with no corkage fee.
MoreLoved the dessert, the food portions were not great and not particularly appetising but the OTT Sundae was banging. Would go back just for the Sundae!
MoreThe best of the both world. The most exotic place to eat drink Persian food and buy Persian products. The staff are so awesome friendly and chatty. Happy to help all the time. I am definitely coming back for more. And I do recommend everyone to try it.
MoreA door taking you to another world. £15pp Travel ticket through tastes of Mezopotamia.. Leave the holy fried cheese to the end and skip the desert plate. Yummy.
MoreIncredible food at an amazing price and such a lovely atmosphere. Definitely one of the best restaurants in London!
MoreFood was mostly amazing. One dish just tasted a bit burnt and another had some horrid olives in them and Im an olive lover.Sharing menu was great but there was no details about it. It was far larger than we needed and although technically good value, we would have preferred to pay less for half the food...Drinks were brilliant and sounded like they were included in the sharing price but werent.Menu was long and confusing but all looked good. The place is so good already, if they just did slightly less and did it better it would be one of the best restaurants ever.
MoreVarious vegetarian options. The food is inspired by Persian cuisine but have been altered massively in a pleasant way. The interior design and also the style of the menu can be more welcoming though.
MoreLooking for an authentic local veggie / vegan eatery with lots of personality? Look no further! The staff are lovely, very accommodating and food is delicious, be adventurous and try something new and they also have a shop so you can recreate the dishes at home.I had a great time with family and would come back!
MoreFirst time in a vegetarian restaurant, its ok but theres no wow factor. I love veggies but it lack such depth and flavour with what I have ordered. I maybe unfair to give them only 3 stars but the food that I ordered is something I wont miss. Its ok but not great.
MoreA mix of a cafe and a shop. The food from the cafe isnt that great (we had a large mixed mezze). The decor is "different". Everything in the cafe seemed dirty. I wouldnt go here again.
MoreAmazing food, so much choice, just take the set menu. Sally is so lovely, so happy to see more and more table appearing! Best food in Peckham. Smoothies are delicious. Cannot day enough good about this place. &byob!
