Pero’s of Rocky Hill in Knoxville

So Im addicted to the lasagna. My friends and I started attending trivia there on Tuesday evenings and its been fun. Food is great, scratch-made, and good value. Drinks are a lot cheaper than where we were going to trivia, and our server Holly is awesome. Would highly recommend!

This was our first time eating here and we were impressed. I ordered Chicken Parm and loved it. My husband ordered a pizza and was also happy with his order. I love the fact that they had a great pasta menu in kid sizes for our picky eater to choose from. We will be back!

In town a few months for work and love the service and value received here at lunchtime. The steak sandwich, wow delicious.

Waited 50 minutes for a 12in pizza. And everyone’s food had been served at least 20 minutes before. Never again.

Looking for a diner-like experience, this was close at first but got super crowded and noisy. Staff was short-handed. We ordered burgers and they were okay, but they appeared to be the kind of frozen patties that you can buy at Walmart or Kroger. The pizza may be good - we did not try. If youre looking for a really good burger - skip this place.

Don’t get take out from here. We have eaten in the restaurant before and got the chicken Alfredo. We just picked up 2 orders of chicken Alfredo and got at best half of the amount of food. I called and was told that if you got it to go then you don’t get the same amount of food but they charge you the same as if you got the full amount. The food is good but they rip you off on take out.

Amazing food! The salad was fresh and tasted amazing. We came as a family and had a great time. All the staff were super friendly and polite! 10/10 loved this place. Amazing job. Will definitely come back!

Ive only recently found out about this lovely place after living in the area for all my life. The ambiance inside is cozy yet somewhat modern. The outside area is serene when its a nice warm day. The food is awesome! The portion sizes are to die for. Its a bit more expensive than some other places but its totally worth it. Id definitely recommend this place for anyone who loves Italian, but also if they wanted a calm date night. Its one of the better Italian places Ive been to!

Our food was good, we got the tilapia and a pizza, but the pizza came out about 10-15min after the tilapia. Our waitress was nice...but forgot the side of ranch I asked for, a glass of wine i ordered, and the dessert we asked for. It also took a while before she greeted us to begin with and our service in between was slow. There was also a long string in our potato salad and were still not sure what that was from as it clearly wasnt a vegetable. Wed like to come back for the food but it was a bad experience

Will not return again! Had to get up from chair, get menus & silverware. The cook was scratching his head, nobody wore gloves, a guy in the kitchen was strolling thru the kitchen with a soup laddle hanging from his ear, yeah, you read right. Food was absolutely horrible, presentation wise, and flavorless. Service was poor.will not be going back again!!!

Held a couple car club socials there, and they are very accommodating and capable. Good food, and they gave me the chance to check off a Bucket List item, The Luther Burger.It was amaaaaazing...

I am ashamed that I have not tried Pero’s before this. We have lived in Knoxville for 11 years and I have missed out! Such delicious food (everything on the menu looks delectableand their outside patio is perfect for those nice summer evenings. New favorite place!

Garlic rolls were great and half price before 6:30. My entree however was close to inedible. You know how alfredo sauce separates into pretty much buttery grease when its reheated? This was noodles floating in grease sprinkled with parmesan. Maybe it was just an off night? Will be awhile before we come back.

We visited for the first time earlier this week, and loved it so much we went back for round 2 three days later :Their garlic rolls are 🤌🏽 Warm and crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. I got the cheese ravioli and my husband got the grilled chicken sandwich. Both were great! We will definitely be back.

Very poor recent health inspection issues and score… I also worked there briefly years ago and they were never hygienic back then either.. Eat there at your own risk.

They get very poor health inspection scores, clearly their kitchen is as uncleanly as the bathrooms and the rest of the place.

Is a great place to eat and gave drinks. Portions are worth the price you pay.

One of my favorite places to go for over 30 years. The food is excellent but I cant get away from the spaghetti with meatballs mushrooms and pepperonis. The new location has limited seating and limited parking but unless youre at a very popular time you should get right in.

Incredible. Must haves? Anything on the menu with meat sauce. Its amazing.The atmosphere is awesome and the service was top notch.

Food was mildly overpriced. I got the $20 chicken and orzo and it really wasn’t that much food. I mean it was good, but the chicken was like 5 bites. I also got a side of pita which had a nice lemon taste, but it was super deflated (practically undercooked$2 extra.Also, this place really doesn’t understand what type of a restaurant it’s trying to be. They have food from all over: American, Southern, Mexican, Cuban, Greek, Italian,… it’s kind of confusing and doesn’t really have any theme.Our waitress also took like 15 minutes to come back with our ALREADY SIGNED receipts.

Waitress was very rude and unfriendly. We were the only ones there for a little while and she had an attitude the whole time as if we were annoying her. Food was cold when she brought it out, I added a dessert to go and it took 40 minutes just to receive it, had to find the waitress to ask her how much longer to get the dessert and with an attitude said she just put in the order and didn’t I see the cook was busy? She pretty much threw the dessert at me and said sarcastically thanks for your patience and stomped off. Worst experience ever and will never return again and will never recommend. Waitress should be fired or find something where she’s not around people.

Peros was a great restaurant that I grew up going to in the 70s. This Peros of our current Era is a totally new restaurant, but with some and in many cases much of the same flavors less all the cigarette smoke. Living close to the Peros at Rocky Hill is a luxury. We love the comfortable atmosphere, hearty meals and the Greek twist. My favorite is the Veal Parmigana and the Greek Fries. My wife loves the Greek Salad. I love it also, but topped with Gyro meat. We love Peros and would say that if you will give it a shot it will be one of your favorites also.

Disturbed by their version of a Greek salad. Freezing cold chicken on top of what looks like a Cobb salad with eggs and sliced pickles… will not be returning. $30 for a salad and fries.

I like this place, very good food. I do think employees could be a bit more helpful, some seem like they are tired and have an attitude.

The menu reminds me of the small diner type places you find in the northeast with a mix of burgers, sandwiches, Italian and Mediterranean. Food has been delicious every time. Service is fantastic. Great prices. The first time that we went (during Sunday brunchthere was a small acoustic band playing music in the front dining area and it was a nice touch. Only thing that Im upset about is that I have lived in Bearden for several years and didnt come to Peros until recently. I look forward to checking out more of the menu and I love to support local spots.

Very comfortable outdoor seating area, good food and service. Will be returning often. We have been twice and while the first visit earned them 5 stars the second visit was more of 4.25 stars. Visiting a 3rd time food and service was excellent but on cold days the doors opening and letting cold air in made it uncomfortable. Not sure what they can do since it is all one big room. Our service was great and food was very good.

Ate outside on the back patio with 2 friends last night. Such a lovely evening. Appetizers and house wine half price til 630 was even better. Good food, good atmosphere, good music. Will come back!

Peros has the best onion rings I have EVER EXPERIENCED in my life!And the gyros are the best!Also the service was exceptional.Loved the experience.

Everything was good except for the pizza. Pizza sauce was excessive and the cheese tested like plastic. The shrimp and grits and the Greek fries were heavenly though. The Greek salad my wife had was great, too, with fresh veggies.

Peros was excellent! I was in a large group and the server did a great job with a group of 20. The Bacon Cheeseburger is what I had, and it was exactly what Id expect. Delicious taste, two patties, cooked just right with some nice crispy bacon and hand sliced french fries. Thanks Peros!

The food was perfectly fine, but not worth the money paid. The service was good and friendly but the wait for food was rather long (pushing an hour). The place was nice but could use some better upkeep and cleaning.Overall, not a terrible experience but not worth the time or money.

Ordered off the brunch menu, fed 3 for less than 50 bucks. All the food was well prepared and surpassed expectations. Definitely will be coming back to try their other offerings.

This was a staple of our family in the 80s and 90s. Im glad its still around now. Weve done a bunch of family birthdays, etc at the newer location in Rocky Hill. Good Greek take on Italian, American and Greek items. A few nice house wines and decent beer selection. Live music on the patio. I try to visit here energy time in in Knoxville.

I did not know this restaurant was still here. I remember when it was on Kingston Pike many moons ago until I read about it in a real estate ad. I live about 30 miles from here, and I will travel anywhere for great food!! I called in a pizza to go, the Aspro Kota. Oh, my goodness, I have not had this good of food since Kingston Pike, nor since I lived in Chicago. I give it 10 stars and this restaurant is the top of my list to go to!! Cannot wait to introduce it to my foodie friends!!

Food is good but the service is sub-par. The last 2 times weve been in, we were not waited on unless we repeatedly asked someone to help us. The pizza makers felt so bad they started waiting on us and getting our drinks! Very disappointing for a place we used to frequent and love.

I had the cuban dog, WOW Asolutely genius, delicious & unique. The menu has so many unique & original hot dogs, I wanted to try every one. Definately going to make it a weekly habit to experience such awesomeness

One of our very favorite restaurants. Combination of Italian and Greek influences along with variety is excellent. Carnivore pizza is ❤️ as well as any pizza with white sauce, their version of shrimp and grits!!!, and so many others! Love Peros food.

Very unhappy. The waitress spent more talking to the other employees than paying attention to us as customers. The 2 best things of the meal was the fried mozzarella appetizers, and the cannot. The chicken parmesean was over loaded with sauce made the chicken soggy. The Cuban sandwich my husband had left him looking for the meat and was mediocre at best.On top of all this we had to hear another waitress complain about customer and I quote" that customer that just ordered the large pizza now wants to change it to a medium.. let me tell you she is over the top and nothing we do will make her happy"... the customer she was talking about was sitting in the back room away from the kitchen. I can honestly say I am not sure we will be back.

Peros Pasticcio... Delicious! After Greek salad, I was stuffed. Everyone at table ate different entrees and loved it all.

Delivery was absolutely terrible! The spaghetti and meatballs would have been better out of a can. The rolls were hard and cold, the other items went directly to the trash can. I wouldn’t give this food to our dog! If you choose this restaurant I would highly recommend dining in so that you can send it back!

The staff is always friendly. The food is great. The Sunday Jazz Brunch trio is smoother and so are the drinks. The prices are reasonable and the portions are pretty generous. Peros has become my new favorite tradition since moving to Knoxville. It,s even conveniently located down Northshore off exit 383...just a bit off the beaten path of Kingston Pike.

Great food and great service!! I was scheduled to do another restaurant with the Knoxville Food Lovers Club and had to cancel so I picked Pero’s due to requests. It was fantastic and the people were great. Portions are huge so go hungry - I had enough for two meals. I highly recommend this restaurant and will schedule future events here.

The food is amazing and the service is also very good. And the patio is dog friendly, a major plus in my book! However, my friends and I went for trivia and we sat outside not realizing we wouldnt be able to participate. Trivia is only in a certain area of the restaurant and its almost a necessity to make reservations. We probably wont be back to the branch and will stick with the Powell location because its closer. If we could do trivia on the patio and bring our pup we would definitely consider going more frequently.

We love coming here for our date nights. Its very relaxed and romantic feeling with the lights and closed in feelings. With the jazz in the background, its awesome! Plus the food is awesome too. The servers are always accomodating and get things correct. Give them a try!! (We had Bill B., who made sure we were well taken care of, thanks Bill!)

I gravitate towards the burgers here, but their pizza and pasta are really good as well. Friendly staff and good service, this place never disappoints!

Such amazing food! This place has great atmosphere and Ive never had a bad meal here. We take all our out of town guests here and it a always gets approval from a crowd.

Exceptional tzatziki sauce, onion rings and meat sauce. Husband had brunch breakfast platter. I had the Greek burger. Perfection with great service.

Great food, weve been a few times & have absolutely never been disappointed. The patio is a wonderful place to relax, listen to music, & eat.

Very good food. I had the original gyro and onion rings. They were delicious! The lamb was tender and seasoned perfectly. They also use plenty of taziki sauce so I did not have to ask for any extra. The onion rings refresh with thick onions inside. They were deep-fried perfectly so the onions were still juicy and not dried out. The price was very, very reasonable. Great place to eat.

Yesterday was our first trip to Peros on the Hill. Well definitely be back! The shrimp & grits are fantastic! My husband had a gyro and said it was really good too. The patio is very nice and they had live music last night. Cant wait to try something else from Peros :)
