Simple, authentic and very friendly.This family restaurant was our fav in Elounda for the delicious food and the great service.The owner took the time to tell us a lot about the cretan food even if the restaurant was packed.BONUS: there is a cute white cat that helps you with the leftovers.

Great restaurant! Excellent food, very friendly service, spacious. If you’re looking for a fancy restaurant probably this is not your best choice. But if you’re looking for a restaurant that genuinely satisfies you without trying to impress you with fancy looks, then this is your place.

Very lively, which was nice. Not just tourists, also Greek people eat here. Especially the stuffed zucchini flowers were great. Plenty of vegetarian dishes if you dont care for meat. Staff very friendly.

Budget tavern with some nice dishes."Antikristo" lamb roast was overcooked and dry though.

Perigiali is by far the best restaurant serving authentic traditional Cretan food! I highly recommend it. Also its location right next to the sea makes it unique!!

Well priced and cheerful! Everything we ordered was delicious, except for the grilled shrimp which were a bit burnt. The food came very quickly and portions were generous. Service was friendly and attentive.

Excellent food and service. Ate here twice! Very happy with the chicken souvla and chicken chops. Ask what is on the souvla on the day!It felt safe to eat here during the pandemic, the tables are outdoors and far apart and staff wore face masks.

The worst food that we have eaten during our stay on creete. We order some starters and main dishes and after 3 minutes we had everything on our table. That wasnt warm enough and definitely not fresh made.Stay away from this place :)

A lovely restaurant right on the harbour road. The staff are so good, they actually opened the kitchen 40 minutes early to feed me! As well as the two starters I ordered - which were lovely, well cooked and tasty - they brought me free bread/olives/dips before my meal, and free cheesecake afterwards (when I declined the free raki for health reasons). I would definitely have gone back, but unfortunately it has now closed for winter.

Not bad at all! :Very friendly and helpful staff, wheelchair accessable (no toilet), food was decent, except the floppy fries. Large portions though! Great choice for large eaters. Wouldve given more stars if it wasnt for the un-Greek-like practice of serving water on your table and putting it on your receipt (Nerowhether you touched it or not. So you might as well drink or take it....

After one week of all fresh fish and calamari I wanted some great meat and this was the place. DONT be fooled by its location, this is the place to come for meat cooked on a spit! The pork was particularly good but the chicken and lamb were also exceptional. If you are craving meat instead of seafood this is the place to go!

Great food, waiters who really know their job and it also attracts Greek people which is a massive positive in my opinion. No hesitation in recommending this place.

Excellent place for food and drink traditional raki. The food and the choices that you have are delicious, fresh and in very logical prices. Staff, and especially Nikos, were very welcoming and friendly...If you are in the area, you must visit it...

Best tasting lamb chops around. But they are mostly just bones and fat. At $11 a pound, you cant go wrong.

A family run tavern with excellent service in a quiet and sea view yard. There are few choices in the menu however great quality. Try the meat skewers although any meat choise will you get impressed.

Superb truly Greek family restaurant, not like the ones pretending to be just that. They might not expect you to order the very Greek dishes but those are the best ones and its also a so called real butchers restaurant with very tasty meat like the pork belly ribs(!Highly recommend it for everyone looking for fair price, high quality, and the most friendly atmosphere right by the sea. Not a tourist trap.

Certainly don’t like solo lady diners! Service was shocking, ordered lamb from the spit, a plate of bones with very little meat. Ordered stuffed vine leaves, got stuffed courgette flowers!The 2 stars is purely for the views.

Love this place too much! Small menu, very delicious food, good service. Ones per month we try to visit this place to celebrate some special dates.
