Arnaldo Boulevard, Roxas City, Capiz, Philippines, Roxas
People's Park - Park and Garden in Roxas, Philippines
You can visit and eat variety of street food.
Very nice place. Theres plenty of hawker food. We went there first in the morning straight from airport and we saw very few people but in our second visit at around 4pm, we where quite surprise because theres many people in a festive mood and or just strolling and eating street foods.
Very peaceful park in Roxas City
Many locals and many street food stalls often crowded in the evening
[First 3 photos taken last June 18, 20224th last April 15, 2022 and 5th last April 24, 2022]So far, the citys still in alert level 1 according to the IATF, so expect a 100% full capacity in nearby establishments. A lot of people go by the beach around late in the afternoon. Street vendors and their respective street foods are busy bustling at peoples park, attracting more people while enjoying their food. Still a good place to jog tho.π
Some parts of the plqce changed. Specifically the railings. Hope city mayor may put some insights to improve the place.
a place to relaxs and renew in the fresh air comimg from the sea
This is nice for alone time specially for si gle people like me. Also perfect place for family bonding and friends bonding. With your pet na din
Beautiful place to wind up early morning or night time.
A beach near the city. A great place for people who loves beach and feel the sea breeze and unwind after work. Street foods also available and restaurants.
The wind is refreshing. There are swing and see saw to play but a bit of rusty . Good for picnic and bonding with friends or family. At the side they have small stall to enjoy street foods .
Best place to calm your emotions. Best place to relax. Best place when you have a heartbreak knowing that you cant even give up because you love her too much.
Our free morning habit. During holiday mornings, when theres no need to go to work, I bring my family here for a refreshing walk and a free dip in the water along the bay of Roxas City. Very good for a cashless family bonding, but if you wish to treat your family for some cheap snacks, better be here in the afternoon, 3 to 5 pm, where a place for some street cuisine is readily available.
Enjoying streetfoods at Peoples park: A large variety of street foods are available here, especially at night, great place to hang-out with family and friends. [Personal preference] walking by the beach during the night feeling the cool breeze with those yummy foods ππππ #foodIsLife
Perhaps one of the most picturesque boardwalks in the country despite its simplicity. Its the best place in Capiz to feast on fresh and inexpensive seafood, and admire the seascape. Baybay Boulevard is also host to quaint resort hotels.
This place is good for family bonding and friends. The beach is free and clean. The waves and winds are loud. There is so many seafood, resort, hotel and inn beside the beach. Many tourist visits this place. We went there to eat seafoods and find beautiful places. There is an island near the baybay beach. You just need to hire a boat. This place is also good during evening, there is liveband sometimes. The seafoods are a bit pricey.
Enjoy Philippine street food under the moon light and allow the breeze to kiss your cheeks. Walk along the beach with your love and make memories to last. Chat with groups amidst a young and energetic vibe in the park. Lovely open public place to enjoy the best of Ilonggo love.
A real must in Roxas. Along the sea shore so beautiful view in the ocean. Especially on sunset a marvel. Along the sea shore so many restaurants of all kind and level. Animated in the evening. Just make you choice. Enjoy the so changing sunset view changing every minute
The place is so refreshing and relaxing! watching the sea and the waves makes my heart calmed. The street food there is good and affordable..
nice place for relax and drinking here..
Peoples park is a good place to meditate. Very accessible. There are food stalls there both for seafood and streetfood. The beach view while contemplating your stressful week can surely ease all worries. You can also take a dip in the beach if you want. Trust me, I do that a lot and it satisfies me all of the time.
A place to chill if you like sunset (just like me). There are Filipino street foods that you can buy while watching or waiting the sunset.
Awesome place to spend a sunny day at the beach. Lots of places to eat and hang out with your family and friends.
A nice place to spend time with the family. Its very accessible and food wont be a problem. Theres a wide variety of food you can choose from street food to resto food.
They have the best and at the same time very affordable seafood in town.
In this place you can earn peace of mind after having a meals offered within. Overlooking Island of Masbate.
Not much to say. But the place offers a nice view of the beach. Youre bound to start seeing a bunch of people in the afternoon starting around 4PM at the earliest up until 7PM. Off to the side near the Barangay Tanod building are street food vendors offering standard fare like fishballs, squidballs and kikiam/kikyam (a sort of fried meat-ish/vegetable meat loaf, cut into small lumps). Some people recommend "dynamite" which are basically lumpia (spring rollsmade of whole chili peppers with a little pork in it. Its served with a mix of cheap mayo and ketchup. Heres a little caution though, if youre a bit of a germaphobe like me, youd be wary of the dynamite because I have witnessed personally how one vendor prepares the dish (I happened to walk by the place where they prepare itand I wouldnt call the conditions sanitary. But hey, if youve had all your shots whats a few bacteria in your gut! Just pack Pepto-Bismol with you and your good to go! Or taking my dads advice, drink a shot of hard liquor as he believes itll kill any nasty buggers in your tummy. Cheers!
sunset is π.... it may be crowded but its relaxing to feel the air... just be there talk laugh and eat street foods... its worth the time...
Peoples Park has improved a lot from the scale of 2:10 five years ago to 5:10 this year.1. The seafront side of restos must be landscaped with palms and ornamentals. Under the shade of these plants must be a long stretch of cemented walk. That way tourist can stroll and truly enjoy walking by the shore and experience or get the feel of the whole ambiance that Baybay beach has to offer (and not merely enjoy looking at the sea from the restaurant where they are eating).2. The highway/roadside front of MOST restaurants are still ugly.3. Peoples Park is getting filled up by vendors and reeks in it ugliness on the vendors side. (Street food can be presented beautifully and become another tourist attraction in itself.)Challenge: Five years from now, when tourists come in droves where can they park their cars. ?
Enjoy the scenery and relaxing fresh air by the beach!
Every time i want fresh air i went to this place if Im visiting the place. Its an amazing place to relax. Some people are swimming since the water here is clear.
Peoples park need a facelift, childrens playground is slowly rusting.
A good place to hangout and enjoy the sunset. The place and the beach are clean. Though structures could be improve. Nothing much to see or do here besides walking, swimming at the beach, eating street foods.
I super love the place now plus the fresh seafoods ready to be cooked for you at the resto is so affordable.
Lots of eateries and sugba/ihaw resto to choose from.
Great place for local flavor. The park itself is beautiful despite the magic fountain no longer working and poor shape of the play equipment. The swing and climbing equipment is no longer usable and 2 of the benches have fallen apart. There are many food stands were they will cook various food cooked to order. Restaurants line the beach a short walk down where families gather for a good meal at inexpensive prices.
Satisfy your seafood craving here. A large bowl of seasheels will just cost you less than 200php. Eat while listening to the sound of the waves and feel the ocean breeze. It is just near the Culasi Lighthouse so if ypu would like to hit 2 birds in one stone, ypu should stop by here.
Nice ambience. Good for family bonding. You can have your picnic with your fan here. Theres also a beach where you can swim. Nearby Seafood restaurants are available. Theres also an playgroung for kids.If you love seafoods and you miss eating it. Just come to Peoples Park they offer affordable seafoods.
The place has a lot of potential but it is underdeveloped and poorly maintained. The coastline is littered with trash. If youre a tourist this place is good for hangout. Best time to visit is late afternoon.
I used to travel a lot but I wasnt really able to explore this place much eventhough Im local of Capiz. What I knew is that people love to go there to get some air and mostly families came to visit and have fun. The seafoods are great and can see a lot of people swimming on the beach.
Nice fish Soep with lap lapu (coral trout and tammerind.... It takes you two beers to drink before its all cooked to perfection and served. But that is the local trend... Relaxed and tomorrow is another day .......or leave some for TomorrowFurnishings are filipino style table and poly chairs.Always a breeze... Nice
We ordered mixed seafood from one of the restaurants there and thought we had a good deal, but turns out, shells added were not fresh and cleaned. Sauce looked gray and dirty, other shells smelled so bad and rotten we swore well never go back to this place again. We also ordered from another restaurant, and though food served was good, it was still too expensive for the quality.
Foods are affordably good. Freshly cooked seafoods are served here while having a backdraft of Baybays beautiful sunset. There is a playground for the kids, the shoreline is wide and long, the waiting/cooking time is not that long. I would recommend eating here if you happen to visit the seafood capital.
seaview w/ various resto
The park is great for all ages. There are nearby restaurants that offer a lot of seafood. If you are a little tight on the budget, there are also streetfood such as Dynamite (a chili without seeds, stuffed with ground meet and cheese, and wrapped in lumpia wrapper), Fishballs, Kikiam, Kwek kwek (friend flour-based coated quail eggs or regular eggs), etc. The view of the sea is also a must see.
Also called, Baybay. Theres still a lot of room for improvement. The seaside restaurant serves local food but on a rather minimal serving.
... something to do day and night, nice place to hang out, beach and food combined.
Peoples Park is just near Roxas City Hall. I rode in a multicab for only P10 to get there. The Park is within the boulevard with so many seafood restaurants nearby. All the restaurants here are specializing grilled seafoods and fish broth. The price depends on the restaurant youre in. But for me, its affordable. Grilled seafoods are so yummy.
Nice ambience. So relaxing. No entrance fee. People here are nice.
Refreshing beaches and sumptuous foods for a hungry lakwatsero :)
