High St, Chatham ME4 4HY, Gorom-Gorom
Modern mall with over 70 stores, including a supermarket and high-street fashion stores.
Nice and clean shopping center and shopping center has got bowling as well, parking available all the time.
Got a good deal in the O2 shop.
Fair place to shop and chill out but not one of my favourite places to go.
Its ok if you need a few bits but not many shops now in the pentagon like it used to be
Never enough seats for folk in this building. What is there is unstead/old/wooden. And you still have to pay for the loos which is unheard of anywhere else. Not many folk carry change these days so its wrong on another level. The High Street is dying so these things need addressing to encourage folks to stay in Chatham shopping
Lots of different shops in here from boots, Wilkos, EE mobile shop, subway, Sainsburys and many more?! I think theres bowling here to!! The bus depot is right opposite the side entrance. At the front entrance you have a really big Primark shop!! Theres a few cafes!!
Nice place for me eat shop drinks. Food shoping. In sainsburys boots for healf and beauty bad sadly the last time i could not find massage chairs
Its got everything I needIm supprised at the shopping centres in Kent, way smaller then I thought they would be but this has all I need.
Changed over the years, still a good range of shops that cover what I needed. Very clean throughout
Variety of shops inc sweet shop 😋 im always in there grest shopping centre glad chatham kept it there
Pentagon has many shops, where you can buy food, presents, there is Boots, barbers, poundland, little fresh fruit and vegetable market. There is bowling and many more stores (mobile phone stores, jewellery etc. Many cafes with tasty snacks 😉
Small but extremely sufficient. Only the products in the middle aisles are very expensive.
Lots of cafe,s and shops in all pretty good
The Pentagon only has a few decent places to stop and see such as Muffin Break and CEX. Not nearly enough shops for a worth while day out. And the amount of unused shops upstairs doesnt help.
Changed a lot over the years but its a pretty good shopping centre plenty of stores for shopping. Lots of parking in the area. Only down side is its in Chatham lol
Chathams shopping center that has a wide range of shops and ample parking.
It’s good shopping centre been first time there plenty of parking spaces
Its an okay centre but is looking old and tired. The 1st floor was desolate with only about 3 units trading.Reasonable amount of choice
Good range of shops right in the centre of Chatham. Had no problem parking £1.20 for an hour.
What can be said about this place it is at least half empty, some shops have been relocated downstairs, be reds a new injection of shops but it wont get it, not now the council hi as its hands on it, just look at the state of the footpath that was done from the train station down to the waterfront bus station, it is full of black patches of oil or bitumen that was left by the contractors who did the laying,it cost far more than it should have and it is still not finished.
Disappointed as too many of the same shops. Good to see Boots , an asset to any Shopping Mall. A lot of empty spaces upstairs but Jesses Cafe hidden away is definately worth a visit, not as expensive as the ones downstairs but just as good!
This is the heart of the Chatham High Street! Safe, very well organized and full of great shops for just what you need!
I love this shopping centre its all on one level and such a good variety of shops. Bright and airy. Parking is free and so easy to get to and masses of spaces inside and out. Quite a few lovely restaurants and eating places inside and outside. Petrol station ⛽ also. What more could you need.
Didnt spend much time here but it seemed to be a decent shopping mall. Though with limited shops
A nice shopping centre, plenty of shops to see, parking is easy too! a little empty upstairs though.
This shopping centre has looked better,I wouldnt go there unless needed.
It was a bit hard to navigate as it had lots of twists and turns but it was wheelchair accessible with lifts and easy access to most shops
Absolute dive! I can’t believe how far the mighty Pentagon has fallen! However I am happy to see the OG of toy stores D&A downstairs, no longer hidden away upstairs in a dark corner!
Nice clean place lots of shops to choose from,if you got the money!
A good mixture of shops inside the centre, always very clean and well maintained.
A pentagon is a 5 sided shape very good wouldve preferred an Octagon many shops much money
Plenty of places to eat and drink, nice selection of shops. Could do with modernisation but its better than youd expect for its location!
The pentagon shopping center gets the job done and has the essential stores but honestly there arent many interesting stores, the upstairs area is particularly run down with most of the stores closed down.
Perhaps a little run down but a good range of shops easily accessible by public transport
Didnt go around all of it but easy to park, lifts available from parking down to the centre and accessible shopping available
We went to the Pentagon centre today, as we really look forward to going every Month to THE MEDWAY VINTAGE TOY FAIRS. They are usually in the empty unit near Sainsburys and Wilko. Unfortunatly we found out today that the Toy fairs will no longer be taking place. This is a real disapointment as they are somthing fun and enjoyable to attend. We have been going to them since they started a few years ago even before when they were up at the Medway lesure centre when they were called the Film and screen festivals.F.A.O. anyone within the Pentagon centre or within Medway Council please can you do something about arranging for the Toy fairs to start up again. We would be extremly greatful. The Pentagon shops will also benefit from these events aswell, as it helps to increase the number of people within the Shopping centre please, please, please can someone get this Amazing monthly event back up and running again, many thanks Colin ps ( BRING BACK THE MEDWAY VINTAGE TOY FAIRS )
Dead. Breaks my heart to see it so empty of shops. And the shops there do not hold a variety of stock. And what is it with Boots not opening until 09:30 on a Saturday.
Lovely shops all round to get what you need. Beautiful shopping centre
Easy car park, not expensive, vast shopping experience both inside and outside, well worth a visit. 15 miles / 25 min from Haven Allhallows, best place to visit for Shopping etc.
Once upon a time the pentagon was a great social shopping centre but sadly now its deteriorated. The shops are pretty standard High street shops nothing majorly interesting and nothing to make you want to rush there . The toilets are how can I say "pretty smelly" for want of a nicer term . They are dark and dingy and the smell wafts into the shopping centre side entrance which is far from welcoming . The only reason I visit now is for Wilko and D&A toys which has always been a firm favourite shop in Chatham .Besides the toilet the shopping centre is clean ,with lifts available .Not sure what can really be done to update the centre as sadly the area will probably always bring it down .
It was nice to be out about,I had gone to the pentagon shopping centre,to get a few items. Plenty of people about, not too crowded, bit anxious, being as of the COVID. But still enjoying the experience of getting about. Just going about and wear my mask if and when I need to.
A large store in our area it is combination of many businesses at a place I usually visit it
May look big on the outside but you wont get lost with a vaiety of treats; from food raw & cooked, clothing Nd pharmaceuticals. Expected more from individual stores but the few hours here was enjoyed.
A small shopping centre in the high-street. Has basic shops like boots, Super-drugs, party shop, coffee shops etc. They open 9 to 6pm. Not sure if there is parking I came by train. They have bowling’s at the top floor.
Friendly staff quite a lot of shops quite clean side note when I use the toilets yes they had been newly put in but they were absolutely disgusting and I had to Tiptoe Through a puddle of urine
Would be better if it was a heptagon
An average shopping centre. There are 90 odd shops, cafes and stalls. My favourite shop is Wilko, a great place to get things I want. The one thing that really irritates me about the Pentagon Shopping Centre is that you have to pay to use the toilet.
Pentagon Court and the main shopping strip sit side by side. If your after a small walk the waters edge is a stones throw away. What lacks in high class polish has plentiful character. Take your time and enjoy the scenery. Dont forget if you get sore feet sit back and relax on the fairly priced massage chairs.
The shopping center is ok and choice of shops is also very convenient but I feel the empty spaces upstairs could be filled more
This mall isnt the largest, feels a bit tired and could probably do with a facelift, but it covers a number of shopping needs with a mix of independent stores, chain outlets and a medium-sized Sainsburys. Theres plenty of parking in the large multi-storey carpark, although you do have to pay. This is easily done from a number of pay-points, but make sure you dont forget, since theres no barrier at the exit to remind you to cough up. Access is good - there are lifts and escalators from the carpark to the shops, as well as the usual stairwells.
