MoreI liked the location of this accommodation. Its close enough to the main sites without being in the thick of it. I also liked the neighbourhood, it has a supermarket, cafés, restaurants and an excellent laundromat. My room had simple furnishings (bed, wardrobe, dresser, side table, chairand basic linens. My bed was comfortable, I prefer a firm mattress, the water pressure was good and there was always hot water. The bathroom was a little on the small side but I was traveling solo and it wasnt an issue. The first night I slept really well, the second night I did not. Old buildings are charming but sound/noise carries a lot, from the street and from other guests. You can basically hear everything. The hotel cannot control noise levels, however. Yes the patio is pretty but I dont know how youre meant to enjoy it in December when there is nowhere to sit and its got no heaters. The WiFi was surprisingly reliable and fast and I had enough power sockets. Loli the housekeeper was a star, she gave me an extra blanket (adding to the two I already hadand even offered me a floor heater to stop me from freezing because I dont think the heating was making any difference to the room temperature. Im marking this accommodation down because of the surliness of reception staff. Reception is not manned all the time and your arrival/departure has to fit in with them, not the other way around. There was no response to emails I sent prior to arrival. I called the numbers displayed in the window so someone could let me in (it was Loliand I could leave my bags. I was not expecting early check in, just luggage drop off. Similarly, when I left I asked if I could leave my bags in reception upon checking out and pick them up on my way out of the city. I was told no, I had to leave them in my room and pick them up from there. Why not have someone in reception during daylight hours? How difficult is this? My Spanish is ok and I managed, but how do guests manage when they cant speak the language? I dont care that this accommodation has zero facilities, I do care that dealing with the front desk is such an ordeal.
MoreBeautiful place with genuine Spanish interior and central location
Central location and VALUE for money! Very quite area a few minutes walk from the central market and only 200m to the supermarket. Excellent base for longer stay.
MoreVery nice and pleasant stay. Staff kind and friendly. Room clean, good. We stay only one night.
MoreGood location, good prices, quiet area and full of shops, everything was very clean and good professionals/staffs always helping
MoreClean and close to all the historical destinations. A bit basic when it comes to amenities but was a great value for money.
MoreVery nice and helpfull staff! Good rooms, ok toilet in a cool building.
Perfect ratio quality-price. Very well located, decoration very unique like in a real "patio andaluz". Maybe the bedrooms are a bit small but it is perfect for economic budgets. 4.5/5.0
MoreGood location and 24/7 front desk. Nevetheless, room contains only old furniture, bathroom is tumbling, windows are thin and so the room is very noisy. No soap, no coffee maker or any other additional equipment , practically no cupboard. Place would deserve some visible investment...
