Never disappointed!Down and dirty tacos!Thai Peanut FlatbreadAny dessert.Any cider. All is awesome as is the service.
I really want to give this place 1 star so that it doesnt get more popular because this is my go to spot when I dont want to cook and we want to eat out. Ive liked everything Ive eaten and love the rotating tap list.Part of me wants this place to blow up so they can get a bigger location to meet all of their goals for this restaurant. Also they have a bottle shop and I like that!
Good brew, really enjoyed the setting, the service was great as well, very attentive and friendly.
Great food! So happy this place exists. Highly recommend to anyone local or visiting.
Great deck overlooking the ferry dock. Excellent chips and salsa. Good selection of beers. A very pleasant place to unwind.
Good food and drinks on the water by the port orchard ferry downtown. Dog friendly patio. Currently opens at 8am for breakfast, came Wednesday morning with our pup and they brought her a water bowl.
Nice outdoorsy bar with a great patio facing the waterfront and Sinclair Inlet. TVs at the bar for the sports fan. Lots of brews on hand, but limited wine and no spirits. Ive had fish tacos and pizza here, both were tasty. They have plenty of light options for lunch and dinner, and the service is always friendly.Olympic Otter
I never knew this place existed until I stumbled upon it trying to make a U-turn. I loved how their patio faces the water they have numerous drinks on top and them bottle and their mac & cheese and shrimp tacos are the best I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back
Loved the atmosphere. The food was good too.
Ive never left a bad review until nowWeve been coming here since they opened the port orchard location. Portions get smaller as prices get higher. Beyond that there is unbelievably bad service. Outside of a server named Brandon, they give off an air of irritation and entitlement. Im so sad to see this happen as I loved this place and location. It was a place I brought clients as well as people that visit. Hope they get their priorities together soon..
Smallest glass of wine I have ever been served. I am over 70 yrs old. Service is slow, prices are high, portions are small, and food not very good. Its your basic tourist trap. Read other 1-star ratings. Old time customers telling owner his business is going downhill.
Fish Tacos, Mac & Cheese, Brownie w/ Ice Cream, Strawberry Cider ... on the deck with a water view. Great way to spend a summer evening.
We saw this place recently & wanted to try it for lunch. Unfortunately it was an extremely hot day, so sitting outside wasnt an option.I had the blackened fish tacos, & my wife had a salad. My tacos were good & my wife said her salad was better than she expected.Well be back.
If you are looking for great food, great service and great views look no further! My brother and I came here twice and both times were amazing! I just can’t say enough great things but I can say it’s a must stop if you are in the area.
Needed lunch and had my dog with me so I needed a dog friendly option and a quick search said this was the place. It was perfect. Their patio is dog friendly and has ocean views. They brought me a water and a bowl for my dog. I had a hard seltzer and the full taco salad which was HUGE and delicious. I’d definitely come here again.
Had lunch on the deck. I experienced really great service from Kora. She was extremely personable and professional. I had the taco salad which was one of the best Ive had. As I was leaving I asked if they would be showing the Sounders game later. They assured me they would. When I returned they started trying to connect to the game. It took some doing, but Kora went above and beyond to make sure I got to watch the game. Although Im not from the Port Orchard area, Ill definitely return when Im out that way.
Every time we come here they forget at least one or more of our orders, it takes maybe a half hour for any service or more for anyone to come back to our table. Servers are scrambling all over the place. We come back because the food is good but at this point I just cant anymore. The service is so bad.
Great food reasonably priced. Nice view of the bay. Live jazz on Sundays. Triple threat before even talking about the beer! Worth a visit.
Would give more stars if I could! The real highlight was our server and bartender who crafted the perfect flights. The barbacoa nachos were one of the best nachos I ever had in my many years of life.
It was good! Except they forgot our food order and it had been more than 20 minutes before they realized. Atmosphere was a little too “jazzy” for me.
I got to the restaurant was told 20 minute wait The kitchen is backed up we were fine with that. The waitress said they would give us a free dessert, it never came. Waitress finally took our order ended up being there for an hour and twenty minutes when the waitress comes back and says they lost her order. We payed for drinks and left.
Great drinks, great atmosphere. Food is great when you can get it. I want to love this place. However the service was not great today. 48 mins after ordering food and its still not out.To the owner: If youre reading this get the kitchen some help or its going to be a long summer.
Their food and drinks are really good, but the wait. The WAIT. We’ve been for breakfast and dinner and it’s been the same each time - the drinks come out fast but the food takes about an hour. Which seems pretty unnecessary at 8pm when the place is half full. Our server left halfway through this visit and no one took over, so there was a solid 15-20 minutes where no one acknowledged us. There’s also a wait to be seated even when there are empty tables because no one is posted at the host stand. Their menu could also be more complete - they have a lot of flight options but it’s not listed anywhere and you have to specifically ask. The atmosphere, view and the quality of the food/drinks is a draw, but the wait is an equal deterrent.
To start out with it had a very nice dining environment, we sat out on the deck. It was staffed with plenty of very friendly and eager servers. Food was very tasty and they have a nice selection of different choices/types of food. Very reasonably priced too considering the price surge has these days. Well go back.
Great drinks! Best D@mn pretzel and cheese sauce ever. We also enjoyed our flat bread and tacos. Friendly attentive service. A must try in Port Orchard!
Great food and beer selection but they made a mother with a new born leave because they have a 21+ rule. Seems a bit over the top... The baby isnt an alcoholic.
Excellent beer and food. Ciders and wine available, too. Good, friendly service. I ordered banh mi tacos, and my husband ordered the Cubano. Indoor and outdoor seating. Higher-end gastropub feel. 10/10 do recommend and will be back!
Great food and beer. Nice atmosphere.
My wife and I love to eat here. We come in and eat and drink then go to the farmers market and usually it’s a great day. We now have a son who is four months old, and apparently he isn’t allowed in this brewery. He is FOUR MONTHS old and hardly makes a sound. We will never be eating here again. And I would like to personally thank the guy who kicked my wife and I out, thanks for embarrassing my wife on Mother’s Day weekend.
I will never go here again. The staff was very rude to my wife. We went here Saturday during the farmers market. I had my dog and my youngest son with me (18). We were looking for a place to eat with outdoor seating. We stopped by here to check it out. We saw a sign that said 21 and up. But, I still sent my wife in to see if we could eat outside on the patio with our dog. My wife went in. Ask the staff if our son could come in and eat at patio. She couldnt even finish her sentence. And the staff said didnt you see the sign outside. She said she did. But, I was just asking a question. Extremely rude.
Great staff, awesome selections on tap. Clean atmosphere and private bathrooms. They allow you to try new flavors before purchasing a drink and have growlers to go. I didnt eat the food, but the menu looked very appetizing, and will definitely make sure to show up hungry next time! The staff is both patient and attentive (at least when sitting at the large bar area). The POS customer pay system includes a more European, bring the card swiper to you, approach which is great for travelers or those who want to close out quickly. Overall it was a positive first impression and I would happily become a regular if I lived in the area.
So Im here right now and really enjoyed my dinner, but will not return. I just witnessed the management turn away 5 couples because they wanted to sit together as a group. They 1st stood at the door for 10 minutes not being addressed, then moved on in to 2 empty tables a seated themselves by moving 2 tables together. Immediately a manager (I assumecame over and told them they werent able to accommodate large parties. Meanwhile 4 open tables sat there. POOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS!
Our second experience at the restaurant when we had a late lunch yesterday with friends. Service was friendly and prompt. Everyones food was beautifully presented and tasty; however, for the 2nd time the meat in my dish was overcooked and dry. The breakfast sandwich (1st timewas pretty good but the ham was very dry even curled up on all edges.. Yesterday, the chicken in the Browned Butter Angelhair pasta was very, very dry. I dont like complaining but would encourage cooks to watch that meat!
We had a retirement party in the back room. Apparently the owner forgot to tell anyone we had reserved the room. The manager and staff scrambled, and made it all a success. We were very impressed at how they pulled it together. Massive kudos to everyone who worked last night, most especially Brad and Madison!
Our appetizer came after our dinner...because they kept burning it. That should have been a clue! Our Shrimp Scampi was the worst I have ever seen. The pasta was totally dry, and the shrimp had barely any moisture...definitely not any seasoning. Wish I had taken a pic! I complained and the waitress came and said she would replace it or take it off our bill. Since hubbys was the same, chose not to replace. (He was hungry and ate dry pasta tossed with plain shrimp. What I assume was a manager came to try and convince me that was indeed what Shrimp Scampi was! Umm. No. Drinks were good and we liked our server, so 3 stars for that.
This place is great. We typically go during the week for lunch, and during that time of day its not super busy. Wait staff is always on point, and the "Down and Dirty" tacos will keep me coming back. Those tacos are fantastic every time I have them. This is some of the best food in Port Orchard. The beer.....that tops the food. Huge selection of beers on tap, including my personal favorite, the "Belching Beaver Peanut Butter Milk Stout."Peninsulas Beverage Co. is exactly what Port Orchard needed. Great location near the water, downtown, comfort food filled, and a fantastic beer selection. And they offer a military/veteran discount! Highly recommend!
Fun menu without the same old foods. Lots of unique tacos. Good selection of drafts we enjoyed. Our server was super helpful and friendly which was refreshing (brown curly haired female).
All the food was delicious , tacos were a little small though. GET THE PRETZEL AND CHEESE!
Food was delicious. Cooks were working their but off. Only 2 cooks were on shift & there definitely could have been 4. It took 2 hours & 20 minutes for 4 dishes. The first two females were on staff weren’t friendly. Once I was waiting to cash out more serving/bussing staff came on. They definitely should have been on earlier. The two guys and one female that came on shift were nice. We finally were offered a refill on our drinks for the first time in 2 hours. It was a little late unfortunately. If the business is being effected by staffing shortages I would suggest turning people away and not seating so many people. There wasn’t a seat open and it seemed overwhelming for everyone. I don’t mind the waiting part as it was busy. However the customer service was lacking. Also I don’t believe in splitting tips… the cooks deserved their own tip but I was told I couldn’t tip them extra individually on top of my regular tip.
Great Cobb salad and po boy sandwich with the gouda bacon Mac & cheese. Food is always delicious!
Delicious food, excellent beer selection, friendly, helpful, attentive staff. Great happy hour. Well worth the stop.
I’ve been three times, not sure I’ll go again. It’s never really been worth the prices, but this last time was quite bad. service was slow, not to fault the wonder servers, just understaffed. About 30min to order a drink, then we were told the kitchen was closed because it was too busy, keg blew on our beer and had to pay full price for 1/4 beer and 3/4 foam. Kitchen ended up eventually opening while we were still there and I got a peanut Thai flatbread which was decent, just ultimately not worth the wait or price. There were cute dogs on the patio though… maybe I will give it another go someday when I’m not hungry
The down and dirty tacos are amazing and the brownie dessert was delicious. The lemon basil cider was great with the tacos
These guys are really knocking it out of the park! Creative menu and all the plates are made with love. Excellent service, even when busy, and always with a smile. Not bad for a bunch of guys that started in a small corner ex-deli! Good on you guys! Well be back as often as possible!
Nice atmosphere with great view of the water. The food is hand crafted and delicious. We dont drink alcohol, but the root beer on tap was amazing. It had a deep root beer flavor with hints of sarsaparilla. Definitely recommend.
The best tasting food we have had in years. The food is so flavorful. The chefs here are wonderful. Everything was delicious. The whole restaurant is wonderful. Fresh beer from all over. Great help. Beautiful location. My favorite experience of the year.
Friendly staff, great food. My Hawaiian tacos with pork were so oooo good!! Paired with a pineapple cider. So yummy, will definitely be going back. Must remember to take pictures too post...
Nice restaurant with a Waterfront view. Nice outside deck as well. Food was delicious. I had the best Cobb salad, friends had the Rueben sandwich, and the sliders. Everything was very good and friendly fast service!!
The rotating taps have a large variety that can satisfy just about any palate. The new space is great, but I cant wait until they finish the whole thing!Service is usually good, and the atmosphere is relaxing and social.
Sweet location and awesome staff. 15 beers on tap, more than fifty in the coolers. Long bar top, multiple small tables, a couple long tables, and a couch seating area for whatever you are digging that day.
