The Public Attorneys Office is located at Peñaranda Park.The staff and lawyers are very accomodating.

This is where you go to relax a bit of stay away from the malls modernity. See a few historical showcases like the Liberty Bell which was gifted by the Americans in 1943, the small Spanish canon, and the Jose Penaranda statue which was inaugurated by a member of the Spanish royal family. This place is surrounded by an old church, fast food eateries, and Government offices so it might get busy during weekdays. #RP

Good for early morning walk and exercise , where you can clearly view the mount mayon.

The place is good but its a place of lovers not healthy in the eye of children

A clean park that usually holds events and gatherings. The city library is located under the park.

Accessible and great place to hang out when its not midday. There are few shady trees and its mostly concrete so it gets hot at daytime.

Its okay but I think they need to add more pedestrian lanes for safer crossing.

Accessible and there are other services available nearby when you need an ID picture taken or make copies of your documents for obtaining personal records from the local registry office.

For only 100php we ate two portions of rice with a fish plate and a plate of pork. Yeah, for shure... For this money you eat philipino style, which means not that big portions. The portions arent very hot as well, but its typical philipino. I recommend! Very friendly and good.

An open park, not a good choice to go during noon time of course, best to visit at night. Near the park is a cathedral, a mall and some (milktea hang out places.

In the heart of legazpi/albay you find this park witch helps relaxing after exhausting travels. Many events are held in this park during Ibalong festival. Its beside some government buildings and cozy restaurants. Also some fast-food places are located just beside the park.

The plaza in front of Albay Provincial Capitol and Legazpi City Hall. Provincial and City events are usually held herem Surrounded by restaurants and fastfood chains, it is a convenient place to meet with friends and to observe local life. Mayon Volcano can also be seen from here. Locals usually frequent the area late afternoon till evening.

Great place to held community activities.

Music and theater events sponcered by the city of Legaspi are very good. Christmas decorations and plaza is excellent

The place is perfect for family bonding with minimal cost. I saw many students rehearsing their dance and short plays. I was thrilled to have seen many landmarks that are very near the place like Legazpi City hall and Albay Provincial Capitol. There are many fastfoods and restaurants around the area.

There are lots of people and a wide array of street foods... in the month of may, there is a beer plaza for the month-long celebration of Magayon Festival.

The old penaranda park is more interactive/recreational, you can rent skateshoes/board and a very good place to meet other people.. A family-friendly park .. Now, they utilized the space for a public library and other public office which is good for space use.. Though the space seems to be divided in sections and a bit dark... Hoping the city will make it more interactive by adding up lights and to utilize more the fountain atleast from 7-10PM if they are considering saving energy...

Nice spot to hangout/relax and the views around the park are good too. Maintenance of the park needs proper attention.

Great place for hanging out during late afternoons and evenings. Quite spacious and pleasing to the eyes. Though it might need some renovations.

This park has suffered through a lot of weather and vandalism. It been renovated a decade ago but maintenance has waned over the years. The fountains that used to be cool with lights and waterworks are now run down and not work. It is also filled with graffiti. But it is kept aptly clean.

Also known as "The Freedom Park." It is a plaza dedicated to the first Governor of Albay, Jose Ma. Peñaranda who served from 1834-1840. This is a nice place to hangout and have chit-chat with friends. The place is also refreshing because of the trees and grass that surrounds the area.

A famous park in Albay proper, during my younger age we used to sit on the grass of this park after our weekly Sunday mass from the Albay Cathedral Church, San Gregorio Magno located just beside. This is a favorite place of "Albayanos" to sit and rest in the afternoon most especially, most of the city activities are held on this particular place.

This place is just so Spanish . We have parques back in Central America just like this one . Place to chill , in the middle of the city . You can watch the world from there
