Pelham Mill Dog Park - Animal park in Greenville, United States
Dog park needs more trash cans. Some repairs needed. Mud bog near small pool. Place astroturf down in water area instead.
Very cool for dogs
Very nice, the 25+ lbs side is very spacious. You need to go at the right times though or there will be no dogs for yours to play with.
Nice little park for off leashDoggy fun. Occasional A-hole dog or owner but thats everywhere. Actual grass is nice for a change. They have water fountains and a hose to use as well.
Absolutely love this park! Never too packed, always well maintained.
Love this dog park! It is large, separates small from large dogs, has water dishes, kiddie type pool and running water. The only thing it doesnt have is a bathroom close by for fur parents. A variety of dogs and people can be found here 7 days a week depending on their play times!
Could be a nice place with a little clean up and maintenance. Unfortunately some people dont clean up after their dogs and its all a bit rough around the edges. Viewing areas at the mill and stone stairs and walkways are falling apart.
Love this place. Absolutely gorgeous but just be cautious of your surroundings! I do see large snakes here everytime I go. But I enjoy watching them. This time I got to watch this big snake eat 3 or 4 fish for her breakfast. It was amazing.
Nice concept but pretty dirty cigarette butts EVERYWHERE and no water for dogs or humans despite being next door to the water reclamation plant. No restrooms. One trash can. Hard to find. GPS will lead you to a mental health facility (maybe it knows something about me). But free and not far off I-85.
Max is 10 months old now. We have been to the dog park many times. He always has a great time. We love the place.Needs some TLC. All in all Max (4 mo old Silver Lab had a good time, for his first dog park. The park is on top of a hill far from the handicap parking, so my wife could not go watch him. We will probably go back.
Great dog park but be aware of R-rated problem in the parking lot. See attached newspaper article.
Did a little fishing at the river and caught a few little ones and a nice turtle in the river
Nice place to have lunch if you work nearby.
Wanted to add that this place is kept very clean. The grass is cut often and owners are responsible in keeping up with their dogs and picking up after them. Ive had great experiences here with my dogs, other owners and their dogs. Highly recommend!!
The few trails were not cut back fat enough for summer travel. But it was peaceful
A beautiful hidden gem! A great little place to get married. Defiantly would recommend to anyone I know.
Edit: we were going to leave but lots of people showed up with their dogs so we stayed quite awhile. My dog had lots of fun meeting new people and playing with new dogs. Luckily we were upwind most of the time from the facility.Previous: Came for the dog park but it was empty when we came. Not fun for the puppy. The dam was pretty interesting. Unfortunately the whole area reeked of sewage due to what I believe is a water treatment facility near by.
Could be really nice if it just had some regular maintenance!
Really nice just needs some love! A little rundown and grass needs cut
Young girls be careful don’t go at night or alone!!! There’s a family of brothers that live close by and use the park as a way to meet girls then hurt them. Speaking from personal experience.
Super Safe and fun place to bring your dogs! Theres a big dog side and little dog side :they have shade and doggy pool! There are beautiful walking areas with tons of trees and a nice river!
Nice place, lots of trails!
Small dog park, but worth taking doggies to get some playtime.
Ive heard mixed opinions of this park, but it was great first time experience for my two doggies. We prefer Conastee, but has a bigger entry way for doggies coming in and out and hooks for leashes. Easier terrain to see/avoid poop. Only con is its next to an industrial plant, and parking is part of the truck entrance.
Great spacious park, with nice people and nice dogs. Quite an “international Park’. Nice!!!
Great dog park. Love going there. Poop bags always available. Water spigot, bowls, and a kiddie pool for the dogs. Has a sand pit and lots of grassy area for dogs to run. Many thanks to those who made this dog park possible.
Did not have several items. White fish was fish sticks. Service was good.
Beautiful sceneries and friendly doggies. It does smell a little like sewage sometimes because of the plant but we like coming here regardless of that. Plenty of shade too!
It was great fishing the Enoree River! It has great river access for able bodied people to Wade Fish.
My doggie and I come here every couple days as part of our weekly ritual. Its clean, nice, safe, and well equipped. Theres a hose and spigot and a little kiddie pool the dogs can play in. Plenty of random scrap tennis balls and old chew toys to throw around. So far all the dogs weve met have been great. Love it!
Its a good, big park with lots of shade and obstacle course for any type of dog. Theres also a small dog park, although its rarely used. The only draw back is there used to be more grass, and its slowly becoming more and more dirt, but its better than most other parks in the area (sans Conestee). Plus theres a small wooded trail on the other side of the parking lot.
Nice little park with historic mill remnants and some trails through the woods.
We absolutely love this place! There are two different dog areas. One for small dogs and one for large dogs. They have fresh water and water bowls available for use. My dogs absolutely love it. The gates are unlocked 24/7. Which is perfect for my not so friendly chihuahua. The trails are beautiful as is the water fall.
Bit of a smell being next to the water treatment plant and theres mud you have to walk through to get to the rest of the play area but otherwise was so much fun and my puppy really enjoyed his first time!
This is a big dog park, and the few times we have been there, our dogs found fun companions to run with.
"It was a nice dog park but there were some crazy dogs" - my 11 year old"Watch out for bees!" - my 7 year old
We need more places like this. I take my dog with me everywhere I go. Rutabaga knows when were getting close, and he ffffreaks out! Was thinking about contributing to this place and maybe helping buff it up some, though it really is great the way it is.
Place is beutiful and nice walk way Except for the cigarette butts that lies around the areaPeople should respect places like that.keep it clean.
Dont believe the negative reviews. Nice dog park. Nice people and dogs.Clean and water available.
Its usually a great time. Like minded owners where you can let your dog run free and have some good conversations.
This is a very scenic area that has a large dog park as well as some great pathways to walk in the woods. I highly recommend visiting the dam that is located next to the park. The image attached is the dam located directly next to the park.
Agressive dog attacked my puppy while owner chatted on the phone, if youre going to come here, please watch your doggies!!
Today was our first visit to this dog park. We arrived around 10:30 to avoid the early coldest temperature. Three other dogs were there and our "Tbone" had a blast running around and playing fetch. This is a good size area, very clean and well kept. We liked that it is divided into two spaces: for small dogs and for large dogs. There are water containers, tables, and a lot of fun stuff for the doggies to run and enjoy.Well be coming back definitely.
My dog loves this park. He has lots of friends at Pelham
Love the availible shade! Remember to bring your own water though, as the water is often not working
Nice dog park always find at least one dog wanting to play. There can be creepy people hanging around Old Mill damn. I tell my daughters to carry pepper spray or CW if they go alone. I tell them not to go at dusk
Beautiful place to relax on the rocks or bench and take in the fresh air and site.
Great dog park. Shade and benches for the humans. Plenty of room to run. A water spigot and hose. Some agility features. Dedicated space for smaller dogs. Be forewarned tho... Its right next to sewage treatment facility so sometimes it smells terrible!
Great place for dogs to play. It is divided into 2 areas, one for big dogs and another for small dogs. Large dog area has pools. Both areas have balls to play with and water to drink.
Its a beautiful peaceful place ,the creek has big rocks and rushing water like a waterfall, nice bench swings to sit on sounds of birds and rushing water. Very clean place with a nature walk.
