Pearl of the North Apartments - Möðruvallastræti 5, 600 Akureyri in Akureyri

My husband and I stayed here in early August in these apartments on the bottom floor. It is spacious and clean. The kitchen is well equipt, we had access to a hot tub, a comfy sitting room, and we had laundry facilities. Staying here made our time in Akureyi wonderful.

Flat is correct but two major weak points: the price confirmed when booking and sent in the confirmation email was not the same as the price finally paid. Almost 5% more due apparently to exchange costs. Also total amount debited from card when booking, 6 months before the trip! Toilet in the bathroom and not separated, not confortable when in group. Two rooms are good, third one very small. Different minor technical problems: no light for the jaccuzzi, no iron, etc. Good points: location, living room, washing machine etc

Spacious and clean. We booked an apartment with laundry machine, which was nice. The only down side is it was confusing to find the unit as there are multiple ones in the same house. Owners also sent lots of tour info which feels a bit too sales-y.

has every amenities you think of here. clean and cozy. very spacey too. its basically your house but in Iceland.
