Bustling seafood restaurant in a renovated warehouse with quirky, eclectic furnishings.
I went around Halloween, so this lovely place was decked out in such beautiful spooky decor. 😍 The staff was absolutely amazing!! From the moment you walk in, to the moment you walk out. If you go, I definitely recommend you ask for Mike. He was a pleasure to have as a server. And the food. 🤤 So! Good! You will leave with a happy tummy and a smile on your face!
Probably the best beans and rice Ive ever had. And I lived in Louisiana for over a year. Really good clam chowder too. Crab was also good. Definitely coming back
Hands down so good.. Ill definitely be back.. best birthday dinner so far.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary in August and we picked Crabtown as the venue. We were impressed from the moment we walked through the door. The decor and atmosphere was on point. Erica was our server and she was absolutely incredible!!! She informed us beforehand of the items that were unavailable on the menu - we truly valued that, as we did not spend time choosing something only to be told that it is unavailable - which happened to a customer at the table next to us. Our food was tasty, the portion size was great and all in all a magnificent experience!!! We will definitely be back and have been telling everyone about our wonderful experience!!!
this place was fire!🔥 the style of this place is my whole vibe too. the waiter was super duper nice and on top of everything, i believe her name is cheyenne and she is so nice. the food was also great but i wont sugar coat anything- i didnt like their sausage or potatoes along with the shrimp boil. only because it was too spicy and not much flavor. however, the shrimp was so good and so was the corn. the chips along with the crab dip was soooo good. i recommended to come here if you want seafood just know every time there is a different cook. thats probably why there are good and not good reviews because the cook that cooked their food was different each time. 💜
Didnt expect to find such good jambalaya in OKC but it definitely exceeded my expectations!
Tuesday all day oysters are great. The crab cakes were really good.
We chose this place for multiple reasons. Husband wanted Alligator and they were out. It was Tuesday special on oysters, but they ran out. I ordered a salad with Ranch dressing and got Blue Cheese. Ok, fine....but I asked for some Ranch and got Blue Cheese again. My food had the chance to be great, but the air was on so high and the fans were so high it got cold. There was more. It ended up being a "one thing after another" night. It was our one evening out as a family while we were in town visiting. Pretty disappointing.
I ordered the crab trash. The description said that they serve you whatever claws/legs fall off of the crabs, instead of throwing it away. Its $18.They brought out a small bag of crab legs, only 2 small claws present. It would have been fine if it werent for the fact that literally half of all the legs were completely empty. I spent so much time breaking legs open just for it to have not a speck of meat in it. Its like they pulled the tendons and meat out of the shell and then served me the shell.I get that its called "crab trash" and its the left overs, but they shouldnt serve you literal shells that have no meat in them for $18.The actual amount of meat that was present equates to maybe $3 at the grocery. I was still very hungry after that "meal." Very disappointed.
Wow. Its been a long time since Ive had such a great, all-around experience at a restaurant! The food was all on point, the spice was inspired, the beer and cocktail selection was fantastic, and holy cow, yall get the Bananas Foster. Seriously. On top of that, our server (Darbie!provided absolutely perfect service and I genuinely enjoyed my time there.I didnt even get pictures of our food because I was too busy enjoying it. But Ill say, the crab special is worth it.
Food in the past was good, as was service. Last week, I was on a date and we received the worse service. We had a waitress continuingly address all others in the room to the point we received our food late, cold, and eventually we were eating in the restaurant while everyone else was cleaning. Waiting 12 minutes for sauce for food and no more clients even around. Do bot come around an hour from closing, they just give up. We were told we were added on, and not even in the section by the waitress and manager, and it felt suspiciously prejudiced as my date and I, are of color.
Crabtown is not in my line of travel, so going there is always a great treat. Food is good, service was fabulous.
Wouldn’t recommend going for the boil. For the price, they gave pretty small portions. Mostly corn and potatoes. They also leave the onion in there? The crabs also tasted like it’s been out a minute since they were made. The taste was also pretty bland, like they boiled it and then put seasoning on top instead of cooking it with seasoning. They also didn’t provide gloves or a bib to help with eating even with it being dumped on the table. I’d recommend trying somewhere else for broil. Their other dishes might be a different experience though.
In my humble opinion this is the best sea food joint in Oklahoma City. We always get the Cajun crab and shrimp boil. Its really fun when they dumb it out on the table and we all just dig in. Yum yum yum 😍
Oh my. So much to say but my stomach and pockets are hurting so bad. Let me see if I can make it through this. Night starts off with a 2 hour wait to be seated. Okay were finally seated. 10 minutes later here comes the waiter. Drinks and appetizers ordered. 15 minutes later finally here comes a simple Pepsi and water. Another 10 minutes and out comes the completely wrong salad and wrong dressing. Did the waiter listen at all? Now to the entrees. You do not get what you ordered. Mine said we start you off with our famous coleslaw. Never saw the coleslaw at all. Portion was nothing compared to what is shown in advertisements. Now to eating this stuff. Shrimp is horrible rubber. Crab is horrible!! At this point the nightmare is coming to an end. Horrible taste is lingering in my mouth and im ready to just get out of the place. Have to beg to just get the ticket. And FINALLY were out of the place. I PROMISE if God will just relieve my stomach now I will never step foot back in that place again! PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND THE AGONY PLEASE!
I took my gluten free daughter there for dinner. She enjoyed it for the most part. We felt it was a little pricey for what we got, but she didnt get sick; so can you really put a price on that? Idk. We had 2 boils and an order of steamed mussels. I havent found seafood that I didnt like, yet. I love the building and the feel of the place. The waitress was pretty good. Overall Im happy. Id recommend you try it.
Great spot for dinner and drinks! Loved the atmosphere of NOLA and Mardi Gras. Our party of 4 enjoyed the apps: oysters, alligator bites, Cajun tater tots, all were excellent. Hubby and I split the crab boil, plenty of food for both of us. Lastly we shared blackberry cobbler and banana foster bread pudding. Those deserts were the best we’ve had in a long time! Mike was our waiter and was very cheerful and attentive. The $5 drink specials were great as well! Would definitely return!
Great food and atmosphere! The food is great and the staff is awesome. The parking lot is kind of small so if you come too late, you may have to be forced to pay to park on the street. Its well worth the hassle though!
While I was in town I went to this location for dinner. It was a nice set up. Wooded bar, it wasn’t crowded and chill atmosphere. Jambalaya was AMAZING and came in big portion. I also had their raw fresh oysters, my bartender had no idea what Old Bay was though. I’d come back to try more of their menu…..
The food was great..this was $43, shrimp, fried clams and a house salad.
This is a delightful must if you visit Oklahoma City! Our server Mae Lynne was great and the food was amazing. We had the cajun tator tots for a starter. They were ok, they needed a little more salt. The hurricane was great! For a main course I had the crab claw Bubba Bucket . Whoever is boiling their seafood knows what they are doing! The crab just slid right out of the shell. My husband had the shrimp Bubba Bucket and he enjoyed it too. Only thing I would recommend is a little more seasoning in the red beans and rice.
Was in Oklahoma City last weekend. And my brother brought us to this restaurant. It happened to be the weekend of Junior softball tournaments and a tennis tournament. The restaurant has several big parties, but we got set in good time. We got our food in decent timing and it was delicious. I recommend this for those that live there and others that are visiting. Our waitress Chris was perfect.
In this day and age we need a better value. The wait was long and it’s not because of the food. They are understaffed. My family sat to enjoy a traditional crab boil. They portions were soooooo small. At least add some corn or potatoes to make it seem like a meal. For $28 you get a few shrimp one crab cluster 2 small cobs 2 small potatoes and a small piece of sausage. The crab was some of the worst tasting crab we have ever eaten. The service was good is my only reason for 2 stars. Family of 5 not so big eaters $160. We had to find food after! Oh did I mention almost a 2 hour wait for seating!
Mid day on a Tuesday was pretty slow but well worth the stop in. Tuesdays are $1.25 Half Shell oysters. Sat at the bar, and the bartender was very nice, attentive to his patrons in the area. Gave out information about the surrounding Bricktown to someone new asking questions. The surrounding venues are easily accessible by walking.Enough to choose from the menu with decent pricing. The Jambalaya with beans and rice was delicious with enough spice so do not add any more! Will definately be back soon!
If youre looking for the most amazing seafood experience with some crab legs on top this is the place to go I was in awe and I ate it all. In my bellyyy
I used to work at Crabtown and loved this place! I waited almost an hour to get a table with my daughter. I have to say they executed their menu to perfection. I ordered two Crab Boils, beans rice, caesar salad, and bread pudding. It took about 15 minutes for the salad and about 15 minutes for the crab. The hot food was hot the shrimp was perfect temperature and not over cooked. However, I must say the flavor was a little bland. I cant get mad at all when everything else was done so well. I would definitely recommend this place if you like the pure flavor of seafood.
The waitress was nice but everything else is terrible. The wait was super long to get seated and to recieve food. We got here at 2 and waited 1:00 to be seated and then 1:00 to get entrees… the Alfredo sauce is merely oil, Parmesan cheese, and parsley. They forgot my husband’s order and we waited 45 mins to get his food out. By the time he got his food we were done… oysters were small too. I just think this place was too hyped for me and it was disappointing. Not worth the price and wait.
After hearing my manager talk about this place and also reading the reviews I was excited to try it out. It started off good when we were quickly sat to a table but after that it went down hill. We ordered an appetizer and my boyfriend ordered a drink. About 15 mins later we order our food. Our waitress takes our appetizer to the wrong table, she didn’t notice until the table (who had just sat downflagged her down to inform her they didn’t order that. The manager stops by our table, says the order was punched for the wrong table and says she has them starting us a new one. Our salads come, and those were good. The waitress brings his drink, again to the wrong table and the manager comes and apologizes again. After this, we get our appetizer and food at the same time. All of which was cold. My boyfriend was tired of waiting for food since we didn’t even get our appetizer in time so he went ahead and ate and I sent mine back. This time it came hot, which I would hope that’s how it normally comes. We got the bucket which came with maybe 4 shrimp and 4 wings. In my opinion, not worth 21 dollars. I can say I’ve tried the place out, but I can also say I’ll never be back.
Wanted a takeout order for four. Called it in and they said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Arrived just a minute early and they had the order ready. Food was wonderful! Got a variety of fish and each had a darn good unique flavor. Sides, bread and sauces were great also. This was my first time and sure will be back again!
Excellent food and service...beware some of their dishes are hot/spicy! There was no wait on a Saturday and I love the feel of old buildings so that added to the experience. Was just visiting OKC but would definitely go back if Im in the area again.
Shrimp Alfredo was delicious. The Alfredo sauce was great. Could have fewer larger grilled shrimp, but that might just be my personal preference. I was trying to save room for the banana’s foster bread pudding. Wow. What a great dessert. The bread pudding was nice and hot and was a perfect sweetness. I’ll definitely be back for more. I was eyeballing other tables calamari. It looked amazing. Eve thought I didn’t get any.
Great food and cold beer! Tony is a great bartender!! Totally enjoyed my visit here.
This was one of the best meals we have ever had. Fun environment. Great food (including desserts), service, atmosphere and drinks. This is a must do if you are in OKC.
Was a great family experience. Server was incredible. Little pricier than some other restaurants, but expected that. Gotta get better crab crackers. The little plastic cutter doesnt cut it on the claws
Had their catfish tacos w/okra also gumbo. All was amazing drinks were made correctly and just the right amount of alcohol. Will definitely come back during another visit.
First time OKC and this place was highly recommended. We ordered the boil, crab cakes and two of their $5 cocktails. Everything was great. Food came out hot, servings hit just right and it was all very tasty. Menu is extensive and pretty sure you cant go wrong.
Update: 2/19/22. My previous posting was from 4 yrs ago which is down below. We just got done waiting over an hr after being told 20-25 min., for dinner. Finally got seated. Wife ordered crab legs and they werent good. Not cooked throughly. The alligator was heavy on spices. To be honest, the best thing was the side of beans. We prob wont go back. Well just stick with our normal red lobster.4yrs ago:The coconut shrimp was tasty. The crab cakes not so much. Seated as soon as we walked in. All employees were nice and welcoming. Food delivery was pretty quick but we visited just after the lunch rush. We plan to return.
Our lunchtime waitress was very helpful with recommendations for menu items that were safe for me to eat due to my allergies. I enjoyed the local stout and had delicious fried clams and the sliders with fries while my wife enjoyed the boil.
Great food. I had bourbon street burgers. Very good but if u dont like onions dont order these sliders. Hubby ordered.jumbalaya! He said it was good. Cold beer! Nice atmosphere! We arrived at 4 and got seated quickly and got our food in a decent time. No crowds at this time.
Amazing!! my husband took me there for the first time last night for my birthday I have never had snow crab before. price was amazing food is delicious and gets to you quick wait staff super nice bartender is incredible the mai tai was spot on abd I got to keep the cup. This place is definitely worth every penny. 10/10 I cant wait to go back.
It was my first time going and the price told me why. Super expensive. But OMG was it was worth it. Our waitor was dressed in a Santa suit and it was perfect for the occasion. We were out Christmas shopping. Great food great staff expensive but worth it.
Enjoyed the Cajun crab & shrimp boil. (Expect spicy if you decide to order that oneGreat flavor, having the boils as a group makes for a fun experience. The menu has a nice variety of unique options. Great atmosphere too.Expect traffic & be ready to search for parking, (depends on what time you gosince its located in Brick town. Definitely one of my favorites in town. Would also recommend their other 2 restaurants: Pearls & Trappers.
Guilty pleasure place to eat. Food is good and there’s enough variety to keep me coming back. However, we always seem to order the coconut shrimp - delicious. It’s a block from our hotel which makes it insanely convenient.
This is for the Cajun Fried Turkeys they offer. The flavor is just mediocre. You can barely taste the “Cajun”. We were very disappointed after cutting into the turkey. The white meat was very tough and hard to chew. The dark meat was easier to eat. We got two turkeys for $60 each. They offer hot ones for around $70. Honestly, it’s a rip off. They are supposed to be 14-16lbs each turkey. We do not recommend buying these Cajun fried turkeys. The quality of the meat is not worth it. Here is what we got from 2 turkeys.. not much at all and definitely not worth the price.
The food was really great. The Caesar salad had a little spicy hint to it. The coconut shrimp were huge and cooked to perfection.
Sooo dont go here .. its a great spot .. the vibe is pretty cool .. the staff was amazing.. but the food ... na fam 🙅♂️The catfish didnt taste fresh at all .. the chowder was soured .. its not responsible to serve ANY food let alone seafood .. please step it up . U guys have all the elements there .. and the no telling me how long the wait is .??.. Na Fam..Overall the staff was great and except for the meal it was a good exp
We love this place in OKC. We always get the shrimp and crab boil with mussels and our servers have always been great and attentive. My only complaint is last time we went there was a wait but they were unable to give us an estimated time we would wait. Just how many tables were waiting in front of us. Great place to get some good seafood!
Food was pretty good for the price point. The drink was very cheap at 5 bucks and it tasted like a college town 5 dollar drink. The building interior looks like it needs a remodel to some newer furnishings. The wait staff was great. Really nice and was patient as we asked many questions. Will come back to this spot in Bricktown.
It was super busy but we received a great waitress and the food was served hot and fresh. I will definitely be back. We had shrimp Alfredo and sample platter. Highly recommended
Food was great, but my server was the best.Very helpful and informative about the menu. The front area seemed a little disorganized but Ill chalk that off to possibly short staff and maybe new hires. But still a great place for some good eats.
