Pcj's Burger Bar in Ljubljana

Really great burger joint and super cheap prices. The meat was very good quality and seasoned very well and good selection on drinks and food. It can get pretty loud because a lot of people are sitting very close together. I did really like that there was a fireplace by each table so you can stay warm. Fries were also really yummy and I liked how the condiments were given! Service was also very quick and we were able to get a seat without a reservation.

Excellent and juicy burgers. The staff were friendly but unfortunately it was a bit overcrowded and we had to wait for the seats but it was indeed worth it. Totally recommend trying it out.

Liked their burger, but loved their BBQ ribs! I was really looking forward to my burger after seeing that their menu was mainly hamburgers. Everyone around me also ordered burgers so I thought I was in for a treat. I ordered the California Classic burger and my wife, not being a red meat eater, opted for BBQ pork ribs. Well, the burger was average. Their thousand island dressing was a little too sweet and the brioche bun wasnt very good. The meat itself was dry despite being cooked medium. Maybe it was too lean. I guess Im just spoiled after growing up in Southern California. However, I was surprised by their ribs. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and their homemade BBQ sauce was nice. The sauce would have been better with a little bit of spice, but it was still pretty darn good. Im so glad my wife was nice enough to share her dish with me. I would recommend Pops for the ribs, but not their burgers.

Very delicious burgers with a great view of the river!We had the Original California Classic, Silvertown Burger and a Chicken Sandwich, which were all amazing as in presentation, as well as in taste. The Sweet Potato Fries and the Pimiento de Padron sides were delicious as well. The place offers a huge variety of craft beers as well, which unfortunately we did not try out.The restaurant was quite busy since it was a weekend but even then we got very decent service and the waiting times were not long.Considering the location and the views you get while eating/drinking, it’s a great place to visit in Ljubljana!

Such a cool place for quick “Work Lunch”Sweet potatoes should be ordered with any burger. They are delicious.

Burgers are bomb and so are all of the fries. The drink menu is good too. The only reason for the 4 stars are the portions and the price. Burgers are small, altrough they are super delicious. So would definitely reccomend if you are not too hungry. 😀

The service was so fun, quick and kind even tho we were a big group of 13 people. The food was so good. Really good pizzas. Recommend Lucy Luciano pizza . Spicy but so good

We enjoyed this place :We had a beef and a veggie burger, both delicious, fries too. It is quite full, we took a walk to check for an empty table again. Very nice waiter with glasses, we were offered blankets without a demand when it got chilly - with a lot of people still attentive. Recommend :)

Excellent service, and one of the best burgers to eat. Very consistent, perfectly cooked, and the fries are amazing (usually something burger places usually forget about). Although I didn’t eat them, but from what I saw on the table next to us, I would definitely have the Caesar salad or the ribs next time in Ljubljana. All in all, a must do address in the city center.

We came for some burgers and this was one of the best burgers I had - I went for the Silverton the one that has bacon ... the burger meat itself was delicious as well as everything else including the sweet potato fries. This was after the first bite it was a really good tasting bite.

Best burgers in town and great beer variety. You have to taste "the Boss"-Burger. Also very friendly staff and the atmosphere next to the river and busy streets full of life and happy people is worth a visit!

Very nice burger place. Also a great selection of (craftbeers. Burgers are consistent and cooked to perfection. No way to make a reservation unless a party > 10. Location and staff are also great, English speaking staff had humor and take their time. Would recommend this place to everyone!

This place is nice for a quick lunch or cheaper dinner. There are always 10 people waiting that are hunting for your table to become free. Not really the place to be for a nice relaxing evening.I had the Silverton burger which was good. My friend had the Boss burger that was better!

We came here based on other reviews and it did not disappoint at all. The burgers are perfectly cooked, incredibly juicy and savory. Lots of options for drinks including non alcoholic. 11/10 would recommend to anyone in the area as a must try.

Very nice high-end burger restaurant with great amount of craft beers. Service here is also super friendly and professional.We took pimientos (7,9€and just country style french fries (3,2€). Pimientos were very good and fries also. Fries came with ketchup and mayonese.Beers were very tasty and we also got good hints from bartender to choose good cocktails.Big recommendations! Just be aware that this place is so good that it will be fully crowded, but luckily there is a lot of tables.

Excellent location along the river. Service was friendly and fast.Beef burger and sweet potato fries were very nice. Chicken burger was a bit dry and the accompany Parmesan fries were cold. However, I would eat here again and recommend it to others.

Excellent burgers and great gin cocktails! I got the boss burger and it was heavenly! My friend is vegan and found it super easy to make the veggie burger vegan because the waiter immediately noted that the order should be without cheese and with a gluten free bun instead of the brioche bun. Both very happy with our experience!

Pops place is really good for some burger and also for some heavy salads. Drinks were also ok.really recommended place for lunch dinner or some snacks. price was also cheap. I requested for charging my iphone and the waiter helped me to charge my phone. really nice behavior. strongly recommend.

We had quite an experience. As soon as we sat outside in our table it started pouring rain. We had to wait at least 40 minutes for it to pass and get a new table inside. But after all the waiting I must say it was worth eating there. The BBQ ribs were amazing and the burgers were really good. Its an experience we will never forget.

Nice place with outside terrace by the river. In the evening you need to wait for 10-15 min for the table. So better reserve in advance!Burgers are simple, but so tasty! Freshly cooked bun with juicy meat and caramel onions or a peace of apple on top of meat. You can chose any, you will not be dissatisfied.Beside a huge choice of beer they have a craft cider that is worth to try!

Very good burgers, one of the best in Slovenia. Also chicken wings were great. House beer was OK. Prices are very expensive, burger was 12,9€ and beer 4,9€. These are 30% higher rates then usual Slovenian burger places, but I suppose they can keep it due to location in city center.Stuff is very friendly and vibe is good.My opinion is that I will definitely come back if I will want a good burger in city center, even if prices are high, so I will give it a 5.

Friendly and multilingual service with good tips, which beer to chose. They really have a very huge choice of beer. The burgers are delicious, but also a bit heavy. The location is nice, next to the river and very central.

It was a good experience. Ribs looked great and the guys loved it. I had fish and chips. It was good. I would only change the somewhat uncomfortable chairs for the outdoor seating...

Amazing place with super nice staff! The food is really really good and the beer choices are endless! We really enjoyed the chicken and silverston burgers but honestly everything is amazing. At peak hours there might be a bit of a wait for the table but is well worth it. You can also order to go. Btw the juicy ipa went really well with our food :would recommend!!

Still an amazing place. I drop by evertime Im on my way from Vienna to Croatia and vise versa. Today was extra special as the place was packed and reserved, yet I was accommodated nonetheless. I could choose between chicken and beef, so I got both. Equally amazing.

Rare craving for a burger was more than satisfied here. Great location right on the river, lots of home-made burger options and a ton of craft ales. Perfect.

Restaurant in the very heart of Ljubljana. BBQ Spare Ribs were so delicious. You must try it! We also tried Pops House Lager beer, it was good. Excellent service, kind and interesting staff.

A really nice Burger Restaurant. We had the pleasure to sit outside this day cause the weather was perfect. Our Burger was really good and I remember that they have tons of good beers on the menu. The waiters was really fast and kind. Thats what you need in a good restaurant. Were looking forward to visit this place on our next trip to Ljubljana. See You 🙋‍♂️

This is such a lovely lively pub. Everyone talks to everyone and its just a nice place to relax and have fun. The music is good, food is awesome, and the staff are super friendly.

Ate here twice during my vacation. Food was great as was the service. Met the owner (Orange County, CAwhile waiting for a table - he chat with me for a bit - seemed like a really great guy. This is the first time I’ve been overwhelmed by a chicken caeser salad and the burger was fantastic - Yumm!

Nice bar with good food, beer and wines. Service was friendly and efficient. My ribs were tasty and the meat fell from the bone as it should. My wife had a Dirty Mac which is a good copy of a Big Mac.As sides we had fries and onion rings. Unfortunately the onion rings were more oily batter than onion, so would not take again.On the whole a nice experience.

Phenomenal burger place.Location was great, in the town centre, along the river.Burgers are amazing, and they go down easy too. The patties are really well made and perfectly cooked, and sauces, cheese and other garnish are delicious.The beers are great too, at least those weve tried.We also got the apple pie, which was exquisite. Well spiced, nice and warm, with some good ice cream on top.Definitely recommend

The outdoor sitting area next to the river Ljubljanica is perfect. We had burges with beef patties which were delicious, so juicy and perfectly medium grilled. Buns are so soft. We ordered sweet potato fries on side and we couldn’t stop eating them👌🏻😜

We ate here for two nights in a row. Hamburgers and salads were great, the guys were really nice and helpful, prices were more than ok. Cool outside location right next to the river, perfect for enjoying the bustling atmosphere of the city during the summer. Recommended!

Burgers are excellent. The selection of beer is also excellent. You can do a sampler (4 beersof the ones they have on draft. The fries are good, and the onion rings are excellent. This place gets super busy so you will most likely have to wait for a table, and they dont do reservations. They have pretty quick turn over so the wait wont kill you. Its worth the wait.

Been here twice, have had a Boss and kalifornia hamburger and home ribs. All were excellent! Also they have verity of small local breweries beers. We took batch 50. Super one!

Pretty good burgers, friendly staff and relatively fast service make this an OK place to grab a bite. It was crowded when we visited but there are plenty of tables on the large terrace. Expect to pay around 12 EUR for a burger with fries or similar for fish and chips. We found the burgers to be slightly over seasoned (too saltyand a little on the small side. The fish and chips were more generous (three decent-sized bits of fishwith a nice and crunchy batter (albeit a little on the greasy side).

Ive done my fair share of burger restaurants. This was an amazing burger experience. The burger patty is amazing and the craft beer and regular beer list offers a wide variety of drinks. There were even some of the good Belgian ones, so my hat off to this restaurant. Definitely would recommend when visiting Ljubljana.

Really nice burgers and awesome fries. We were there today to just for a quick visit of Ljubliana. They have nice seating options right next to the city river. Inside the Interior Design is really cool.I had the Dirty Mac Burger and that was a really good choice!They also have a lot of craft beers. We all had homemade ice tea which was also really good.We would visit this place again. :)
