Very beautiful church. To get in you need call button near gate. Ticket prices are cheap. You see church, which is amazing, also crypt and museum. In museum is overview about history of monastery. Parking is possible near the church.

Nice place to stay for few hours. We visited it also inside and outside. I like modern design of exhibition with a lot of windows and tables. You can also go to small beach nearby through forrest path.

A monastery in Lithuania with good cultural heritage. It has a rich history of the church and the country .Its a good tourist centre.

It is one of the oldest original buildings in Lithuania builded in XVII century by Kristupas Pacas for camaldul monks. Till now, you can find original paintings, frescos, wooden walls and many more treasures. Delicious restorane and mediavel hotel waits for tourists. You need a reservation for a dinner in restorane!

Booked a tour and learned about the history of the church and all of the work put in to make this masterpiece. A beautiful work of art.

I have really enjoyed the dinner here. Because the food was truly amazing. 😍. Very creative serving of the dishes, very friendly staff that can present in several languages at the same time, also, the chefs happily take up the challenges of cooking vegan options. 🤗Can only recommend!

Beautiful building inside and out. Shame there are signs of woodworm and our guide told us that the EU mobey that was given to renovate the monastery was used to build a hotel!

This place is absolutely beautiful. I didn’t get to enter this time, but I would love to in the future. To walk around the area and inside the courtyard is free, but if you want to enter it will cost you. It’s at least 3€ for students, if I remember correctly.

Very beautiful place but I wish it would be allowed to visit more places in the monastery. It is only allowed to visit the church and a mini museum. 6€ for it is to much.

The tour of the monastery was awe inspiring and the restaurant in the hospitality center has an amazing chef that makes food amazing dishes both visually and regarding taste

Worth the very cheap taxi out from Kaunas to visit this wonderful, quirky place. Its got a very special atmosphere, and lots of its past history is on display. Would highly recommend a visit.

Interesting place to visit, very peaceful and beautiful. The adjacent hotel has a good restaurant.

Very nice monastery run by nuns. A visual museum explaining the history of the area and the site. History of the restoration of the frescos. A hotel had since taken the front part of the site, with possible weddings in the summer!

Calm and silent. Wonderful dinner with a glass of fine wine.

Seen only a part of it. It was early in the morning and half of the tower was in the fog. It was amazingly calm thought.

This majestic Pažaislis Monastery is located in Kaunas of Lithuania. It takes around 30 to 40 minutes from the city center to reach there by bus or car. It’s an old church designed with artistic terra-cotta on ceiling and walls. It has great history of Lithuanian and Baltic region people. We had a tourist guide who explained us everything about the church. Outside the monastery, there is a large lake around the church area. In the evening, you can find beautiful sunset over the lake.

The church is a wonderful architectural marvel in a pristine natural setting, a must-see for anyone visiting Kaunas, and with the convenient public transport there really is no excuse.

Its a great place for a longer walk or a ride with bicycles, roller coasters in the middle of the forest right by the lake. If youre lucky, you may see some creatures of forest like deers, roe deers and more. In winter time, you can skate on the ice, have a walk on a frozen lake, or get your gear for winter fishing.

Nice oportunity to visit an amazing place. An ancient monastery and beautiful nature around. Come to Lituania!!

As an architectural monument, Pažaislis is worth a visit. The reality of the place is less than you expect from the hype, since it is in need of restoration and repair. But, if youre in the area, its worth a visit. The ensemble hosts a popular music festival in the summer months and the whole area is a very popular location for wedding photos.
