MoreBest paul ever .Better than Dubai and Riyadh branches.
Amazing & very cozy place. Vere delicious & tasty food 🤌🏼❤️✨I’m very grateful for this!
MoreA beautiful cozy French place to stay in. Wonderful atmosphere. It’s not my first time in the Paul’s locations, but my first visit here. Staff is quick and polite. Bakeries are very tasty and I loved coffee. Very elegant and nice design. Come!
MoreThere is something French in this place - its the Price 😅.... The water is way too expensive even for France...The atmosphere is good as well as the service..But coffee ( Americanofor the price is not good ¡!
MoreI liked having breakfast there but service was slow a bit since the place was crowded I guess. Ambiance is good. It was a lovely time for me
MoreFirst time visiting. What a great place fir breakfast. Staff very friendly. Service was great and ask Covid protocols were followed. Oh, andca great cup of coffee! Will return!
MoreWonderful freshly baked croissants. Quit atmosphere, great pastries and bread. Good place for chill out in the heart of Kyiv. Place with traditions.
Moreİts very expensive, but sirniki ( Ukranian dessertand coffee is poor. You can buy them at Aroma Kava, %70 cheaper than and more delicious.
MoreThe vibe is amazing, very shick. The service is on the spot and kind. The food is tasty and beautiful.
MoreWonderful neighborhood treasure! The service, staff and food is wonderful. The croissant was the best in the city and the cappuccino and other snacks matched the love and energy they put into their products and service.
MoreOrdered a huge family breakfast and excited to taste Paul food here in Kyiv.Unfortunately THE WORST COURIER COMPANY - ROCKET - got lost in space and couldn’t find a driver. Now been waiting for over 2 hours and ROCKET HAS DONE NOTHING TO TRY TO HAVE THE FOOD DELIVERED.———— ROCKET, THE WORST COURIER COMPANY THE FOOD INDUSTRY HAS EVER KNOWN ——-
MoreI came to Paul cafe depending on my experience when I was in London I like the cafeActually at the beginning I was disappointed coz my order got too lateBut later I discovered the waiter with name is Vladyslav I hope I wrote his name correctly actually he did his best for me without I asked himHe recognized me I don’t eat pork so he prepared new cheese croissantThat was so wonderful and lovely from himI’m appreciated him and thank Paul to hire professional staff
MoreIt is a Paul. As all the chains you can expect a mínimum. But is not a fancy o fashion place. It is like Starbucks but with style. Chains are terrible in tems of style and food. French ones better than the rest.
MoreNever got why people see Paul as a nice "fancy" place to go ahah. You know in France its just a random backery brand where people to busy to go to restaurant at noon and students buy sandwishes :). Anyways, this one as nothing special, coffee is bad and food is average. Price though is up. You better walk 1min away and go to Honey for the best breakfast and/or Idealist for coffee.
MoreVery tasty pastry, waiters sometimes only wear aprons and no shirts, forgotten items get retrieved easily, all in all lovely spot
Morelooks good, great team, nice choice of sweet and salty dishes. atmosphere is special, i like to be here. the bakery is the weak point of paul. the bread is tasteless, the pastries promise delight, but looking at them is better than eating them. great place for breakfast and people watching…
MoreThis is experience from the Paul as you would like to see it no matter in which country you visit itFoods and drinks are fine staff is a bit slow but generally speaking its ok and I believe its because of a first day after lockdown.
MoreI like brasserie style of Paul’s cafe. Food are delicious, excellent coffee( they have decent selection of plant base milk). My go-to when I am in Kiev is ravioli with rabbit and white mushrooms. Also sour cherries strudel something special for me. Love it.
MoreSecond time and just love this place. Stopped in on a cold day for a hot chocolate and a glass of hot wine 🍷
MoreCareful. Paul can not provide French croissant during next months. Instead they offer low quality croissant for the same price as before. 😠
MoreDelicious food, lovely place, friendly staff
Terrible breakfast dish , not at all worth 215 uah. Extremely simple dish. 2 Eggs with thin smoke Salmon on hard bread with literally 5 spinach leaves on top ! On the positive side , they do have good pastries.
MoreThis is a bakery, not a "dessert restaurant." And my God what a fantastic bakery it is! The bread is so fresh, the accompanying fruits are fresh as if picked that morning. I have loved European bread since my first taste so many years ago and the breads here are prime examples of why. The service was friendly (contrary to other reviews), the atmosphere was welcoming to sit in and enjoy a cup of coffee and a sandwich while hiding from the snow outside.
MoreWent for dinner at Paul on Saturday 30th November with my partner. Service was glacial - we waited 10 minutes to order in a near-empty restaurant. Our waiter Evgeny was polite and seemed to be the only person doing any work at all - several staff were using their smartphones behind the bar. The place has a confusing vibe - it seems like a classy French restaurant from the outside, but it actually functions as more of a coffee shop/bakery/patisserie.I could overlook all of this had the food been good, however...in over 3 years of dating, eating in restaurants literally all over the world, this was the worst meal my partner and I have ever eaten together, and possibly the worst of my life. I ordered beef stroganoff with mashed potatoes - there was no sauce at all, the beef was almost shredded in texture and the potatoes hadnt had anything at all added to them - no milk, butter or seasoning. They were watery and bland. Inexplicably, this was served with about 15 cornichons on what was (thankfullya very small portion. My partner ordered grilled chicken with vegetables. He was served three grisly chunks of oddly textured, slimy chicken, watery spinach and a few pieces of yellow pepper, cooked via an unidentifiable method that rendered them both soggy and cold. The rest of both of our meals were lukewarm at most.I cannot believe how bad the food was here and I am at an absolute loss as to how this place has 4+ stars on Google. It was almost as if the food this restaurant serves is an afterthought to the aesthetics of the place.Much of the food we were served on a trip to North Korea was of better quality and cooked with more culinary verve than what we ate at Paul. The total came to €30 - this was having shared a bottle of water as our only drinks and not having had a starter or dessert. This is very expensive for Kiev. Avoid at all costs. There are other, much better restaurants nearby.
MoreI had finished my food before my partners course arrived, and we didnt even receive an apology. The food was ok, but not great for the price, almost certain we were purposefully over charged.
MoreWaffle was stale, croissants taste is not so good. Our orders came too late and personels were rude. Only good thing in there is the atmosphere of place. They dont deserve any star.
MoreGood cozy place in the heart of Kyiv to have some coffee and deserts.Paul has its own bakery and provides a wide range of delicious things.Tasty coffee and breakfast. Recommended to visit.
MoreThe food is very good. Even if its kinda expensive you still get high quality food that is nearly impossible to get anywhere else in Kiyv. The only negative aspect is that youve got to wait long because of the lack of employees. So if youre not too hungry and want to eat some french-like breakfast and youve got enough time to bring with you, its worth a try.The macarons are great, definitely a must-try at Paul.
MoreCozy inner design for the winter/autumn. The terrace in the summer makes it more attractive. I had a caramel-based cake (tasty but a bit too sugarishand my partner had a tasty almond croissant. A bit pricy but understandable given the location and better than average quality of desserts. We did not try other dishes. We will come back again!
MoreThere are a lot of bad reviews here, especially about service. Seems like Paul doesn’t even read them, because service stays the same - awful. Waiters took forever, sat for 15mins ready to order and nothing. If you want to enjoy a good cup of coffee and a wonderful desert - 1min of walk to the «Honey» cafe.
More+ A level of croissants has improved since I’ve last been here! + Very cozy interior.- Grumpy waiters.
MoreCoffee is fine but food is 👎... no taste at all and portion sizes are very small ( looks like samples).Cakes are also average taste and not as Paul’s standard.Don’t believe the photos at all. Half the menu is not available.Staff require better training -learn to smile !!!! 😊
MorePoor breakfast, poor service, cold croissants and tasteless and badly served eggs benedict. Ive been to PAUL in different locations but this was the worst one without a doubt. The best thing in this place was Borjomi.
MoreFirstly, the service was awful, we waited for menu app. 10 min and waiters forgot about cutlery, salt and pepper. The onion soup 3/5, wasnt baked and without cheese on a top, nothing special. Bruschetta was so cold and absolutely tasteless (no seasoning, even salt), as well as sauce for fries. 100% overpriced. P.s. wont even comment this "masterpiece" on photo
MoreIts not Paul, as in French Paul cafe. Here it tries to be kinda upscale, but in the end, theres nothing special about it. However, the coffee is great, all the croissant stuff is tasty, and the service is, well, 3.5 out of 5.
MoreGood omelette, but so bad service. Me and my friends went to Paul for a breakfast yesterday. We got 3/6 normal dishes - one we had to change, eggs were not cooked well, we got pancakes with syrup instead of jam and finally we didnt get cheese pancakes at all after 50min waiting and nobody told us we need to wait an hour. And there are some issues about the service, but it would be too long review. Prices are not so affordable to have such a poor service.
MoreGood and relaxing atmosphere of old city. Lots of deserts but no sweet croissants after 1 pm. Nice music. Prices are not really low. For example Espresso is 45 uah which is a little bit pricey but delicious cheesecake is 80 uah which is ok.
MoreGood cocktail of the: French taste and aromas, great atmosphere and the spirit of the old street, a little bit snobbery, and on the top - little umbrella with gloss.Must visit!
MoreAlways good atmosphere, service, and food. A bit loudy for a business conversation. Opens at 08:00 which is very thoughtful since there’s not many good places open in Kyiv this early. Also, not easy to park as Parking around is always packed. Other than that, truly recommended
MoreIt’s a good place overall, but nothing special. And the prices are a little too high, you can find many places in Kiev with same quality and atmosphere but for less money. Probably the best thing about Paul is only that I‘ve never seen it to be too crowded,so you might enjoy it if you don’t like crowded places.
MoreThe croissants and bread are truly delicious but the service has consistently been terrible for the past two years. Inattentive, rude waiters. If you can, just take the boulangerie to go and run!
MoreEven though the venue is gorgeous and was nicely decorated for Christmas the cake Ive ordered was hard and dry on the edges. As a baker I can say that it was at least 2 days old. Disappointed.
MoreThis legendary restaurant in Kyiv has beautiful interior. It is nice and cozy, especially during winter/Christmas time. But meal: Mediterranean fish soup was very poor with fish, small portion, not hot and expensive. The best thing was macarons! Service was ok. I may not say it was good.
MoreIt was fine. Breakfast: croissant with butter and a coffee tasted great. Service - 50/50. Although the place was not too crowded, I waited 15 min, until the waiter brought me a receipt. Also, there was a visitor sitting next to me who was cursing very loudly while speaking on his phone and the stuff just pretended nothing was happening. I dont care if this visitor is an important person or what (he was cursing and yelling about some transaction costing 200 k euro), you should react to such cases, dear Paul.
MoreVery cozy and quiet place, with quality food. The price higher than average
Stylish cozy place with nice music and atmosphere! Really liked tender fish rissole with spinach and milfei. Irish coffee is good!
MoreBest croissants in Kiev, not cheap, I agree, but worth it. The maccarons are incredible as well. The Napoleon is really good too! I highly recommend this place!
MoreNot impressed. Menu does not mention Benedicts are served cold. Typical techno music found in every second rate Kiev cafe. Service was fine but hoped for something less Ukraine and more France.
MoreThis is the best French food in Kiev. Their soups, sandwiches, coffee, pastries... its all good! The prices are higher than most other places in Kiev, but it is so worth it!
