Not gonna lie...this was a major disappointment 😒. People have been touting and recommending the channa here for years so since I was in the area I decided to look for it. I should have known it wouldnt have boded well when Google maps sent me in the wrong direction up a one way Mission Road. It was hard to find the bar since there were no signs saying PATRICK BAR, at least not any big signs.It appeared the bar was closed probably due to covid and there is a tent in the yard and a window to buy channa and beers out of.The prices are bit high for this channa and the taste was bland at first with a bad aftertaste left on the tongue.If youre looking for a well seasoned and flavourful channa soup, check Extension Bar in El Socorro. Patrick Channa cannot touch them and theyre cheaper. Patrick channa is like Uwi Doubles....only people who dont know better would think its the best.

This bar, as stated in the description, is more famous for its tasty channa rather than its beastly cold beers. The bar itself isnt the fanciest of locations as its more of an old school finish on the inside. The lighting and furniture gives it that finish but 99% of the people going there only go for one thing..... THE CHANNA. Whenever you visit you will see long lines awaiting a piping hot cup of channa to which you can add some pepper sauce if your taste buds so desire. I only posted I hated it because since the pandemic has happened this place has been closed. I recently went there with my family to see this site and the gates are still locked thefore we were unable to visit which is not fair. This does not make sense to me because cinemas, beaches,restaurants, bars,churches,groceries,all places of employment are opened

great channa. they can do better with training the new Spanish guy to package the channa in the bags better, as he leaves alot of air and does not tied the bag properly. the Indian guy, tanto is a boss !

I have been buying channa at this place for yrs n lemme tell U something. The channa is great. Omg. Just yesterday I was in there. The staff is always friendly n pleasant n yr channa is always nice n hot. They have a standard in terms of quality n taste n it has never dropped. Will never stop going there.

Typical roadside bar but its known for its "bess" cup channa(chick peas/garbanzo beanswhich is freshly cooked and soft enough to melt in your mouth, well seasoned with a really tasty hot pepper sauce. You can get your usual variety of trini beverages. Typical bar interior. Adequate parking adjacently and just be aware Mission road becomes a one way at certain times of the day.

Their boiled channa is a must have with one or two spoons of their flavourful pepper sauce. Comes in various sizes so you cant go wrong.

Cup Channa makes for a suprizingly good cutter. The bar has a neat tavern-esque sorta vibe that looks a bit intimidating at first but it grows on you.

Patricks Channa Bar is the source of excellent boiled channa. Though its an actual bar, the channa is their main attraction. I personally have been visiting there over 25 years and only to enjoy my cup of well seasoned boiled channa. You can add their housemade shadon Beni pepper for that added spice. Heaven on Earth.
