Very poor screen disappointed, i watched planetarium show in Kolkata also compare to that here show projection, sound, screen quality very poor.

Must visit palce. Fo all age...kids,adult,and old age tooo...very interesting place...near by a musiom.....

Informative but need improvement

It was little traffic there for buying tickets and the show goes only in a hour u have to wait if u didnt get tickets... Exactly 1hour for the next show as the seats are limited

Its closed for today (solar eclipse day)due to technical issues. Anyone planning to come here today, stay back. 😭

An informative place for children. A good place for the children as well as the elderly. There are 4 shows per day. Duration is 30 mins. You can move around the place and sit on the beautifully maintained lawns. Washroom is available outside, but it was not clean. Eatables are not allowed inside. You will be asked to switch off your mobile phones before entering. Only major issue is that there is no parking available inside the place. You have to find a suitable place on the road side and walk up to the planetarium.

Best place for children as well as for the adults to explore and learn new things, the area is quite neat and clean....

1star for cleanliness and 1star for guards ,they are very helpfulAnd last three 🌟 not given for ,the video quality is not good , 1 projector os working another is off and need same maintain thank you ,its all my point of view please dont take it any wrong way 🙏

Very good experience for me and my kid. I went after 25 years for 5-6 PM show which was in Odia(2-3 is Odia, 3-4 Hindi, 4-5 English), dont miss to natural history museum adjacent to it. Ticket booking starts 15 minutes before the show

The auditorium needs to be revamped. The quality of visual was poor which dampens the entire experience. Place needs to be upgraded to do justice to the great man work.

Very nice place.Planetarium show starts from 2pm to 5.45 pm.Each show takes 20 minutes.show available here is English,odia and Hindi. ticket Rs 20 for children and RS 30 For Adult.A small garden area is there also .

It is a good place for children and youngs to learn something about astrology and astro world, ver neat and clean place with a beautiful park at backyard and the staffs are really good, that project show was awesome to know about our universe, must visit with your family, had a great time there.

I had Last visited in my childhood when I was in school and we visited with our school friend and teachers and now after 27 years again visit and so happy there are so many things updated and renovated by govt. Feel so much happy ☺️

Nice shows for children also for adults

It is good. Best for students . we can learn so many things from the shows. Ticket price is only 30/-rs for adults and 20/-rs for kids.The place should be upgrade and surrounding is not very clean. Some parts are broken. So it should be maintain.

Science ,entertainment and learning. From kids to old age, all group of people can get a tons of knowledge.

Very mismanaged. And employees very rude. Broken seats and if low quality. Children not encouraged. There is nothing that promotes science here. The only thing that the staff is interested in is to sell tickets just before 15 minutes. Kids and visitors have to stand outside in the scorching heat. There is not provision of water. Very sorry state!

I enjoyed the show..it was 30 min of duration and you have 3 different languages available at different time slots.The surrounding is very good and beautiful.

I had a best experience at pathani Samantha planetarium wirh the tara mandal show. We waited at the park to take tickets after sometime. This is a best place to bring children so that the can see that special show. The planetarium need maintenance as the picture quality of pictures have been lowered to some extent.As before 3 yrs I saw the same show with a slight quality difference. Anyways I enjoyed that outerspace show which shows about the beginning of Universe, collision of super massive structures at outerspace. Collision between stars and galaxies. Supernova and neutron stars also introduced to us.The main problem of the show is the SOUNDS MADE BY THE CHAIRS WHEN WE BEND DOWN to see up. Please fix this problem. Strictly dont allow mobiles or watches into the hall as some people are using lights which disturbs whole show.

Great place for shows based on Astronomy. If you are a space enthusiastic this this the place for you. You can enter at show from 2:00pm to 5:00 (3 showsTickets per adult is 30₹ and for kids 20₹. There is a garden also where you can find some sun clocks and monuments. Overall good experience 😄

A really interesting place to visit, not only for children but also for adults. The area is pretty clean.Guards are helpful. You will know a lot about Pathani Samanta and different instruments he used, different types of ancient clocks etc. Space shows are shown here which is a wonderful experience. The only thing I hope the planetarium should change are then chairs in the auditorium. They make a lot of noise and not at all comfortable while watching the show.

The place where we can take our children to visit in Bhubaneswar. Really children will enjoy and learn many things. I took my daughter and went around the planetarium. Great to know the history of Pathani Samanta. The story of his life is inspiring and we can through it on the walls. Sun dial clock was interesting.After getting the tickets we entered the hall and took our seat. The 3D movie about the stars and planets was awesome.

Nice place to visit. The video playing was nice. Awesome place to bring kids for the development of their scientific temper.The place needs government attention. Models of earth, sun etc are deteriorated. The gallery section was closed during my visit. Hope it will be opened for visitors.

Beautiful planetarium to acquire knowledge about space. Children can learn so much things about space 🥰😍But at ticket buying time the place is very crowded..No parking place available.. No maintenance here..

Nice place to bring children for basic learning about space and astronomy. The latest schedule of the shows are attached. Ticket is fairly priced, Rs. 30 for adult and Rs. 20 for children above 5yrs age and bellow 15 years age. Infrastructure is poorly maintained. Guards were not courteous in their communication, perhaps they are habitual with village like crowd. Inside the planetarium, public were not listening to instructions and were flashing phone during the show in order to capture the video of the show like people do in cinema hall. Show duration is actually 30minutes but duration between shows is 1 hour just to avoid any clashes between start and stop of shows. No proper place for car parking is available, one has to park on the road and wish that their car is not towed by traffic police.

Do visit if you love space science, astrology, universe etc. There is a theatre in which you will watch a movie.Ticket Fare - for adults -30 Rs for children - 15 RsI am giving it 3 stars because I am not a space lover

From school child to old persons a must visit place for all group of age people. The show is only for 30 minutes, you will gain some knowledge about the planets. You can book tickets online as well. Its a 2minutes of walkable distance from the acharya Bihar junction.

Its good way to learn about universe and its physics for beginners. The way show is brought to you is pukka.However, if crowd is not supporting, then whole experience of enjoying the universe will take a U turn.Ill suggest you to watch secrets of sun show. That was good.

This is the place you must take your kids in order to pique their astronomical interest. There are shows in English, Hindi and Odia. The show is wonderful. So go grab a seat and experience the mystery of this universe. It explains formation of earth and also the past and future of our galaxy. There is a garden inside the boundary which is great, well maintained and clean. Definitely worth a visit .

Great feeling to know about history of the legend Pathani samanta sir.Seating Chair of planatorium should be adjustable instead of flexible.Because that flexible chair cant stuck at the angle we want.The angle for watching planatorium should atleast more than 150 so we can see whole picture but we can see only half portion of this just because of that chairs are there.Further overall thing is just awesome.Best thing is outside of the planatorium there is heritage symbols and some structure we can enjoy there without any cost.
