Pasjača - Public beach in Dubrovnik, Croatia
Wild and beautiful beach with crystal clear water. The path from the car parking to the beach might be a bit tricky for people who are not good on foot or have no appropriate shoes, as it is steep and sometimes slippery due to sand on the stone/concrete. But the scenery and the beach itself are really stunning.
Pasjaca is one of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia. It is located near by the Dubrovnik airport, approximately 15 minutes away from it. It is not really easy to go there due to the many narrow stairs you have to walk, but the view is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately it is not ADA accessible and it may be harder for kids or older people to go there. At the time Ive visited place (September 2022), water was clean and warm.
Very nice, calm place without crowds of people. Wonderful view, great waves when I was there. Good, scenic way down. I absolutely loved it. Best beach during whole trip in Croatia.
Stunning natural beach with picturesque walk. Very beautiful, might get crowded though. Free parking. No facilities, bring own snacks and water.
Iconic beach. You can get there from Dubrovnik by bus 10 to Cavtat, and then take a cab/uber from there. There is parking near the beach entrance. Mobile signal is not too strong near the beach.
Best beach in Dubrovnik area. The road is ok but you can reach it just by car/scooter because it is pretty far from the city.Totally worth the road.In plus, it’s a sandy beach and Croatia doesn’t really excell at this point
PebblePasjaca beach is located in the Konavli in the small town of Popovići in the southernmost part of Croatia. It is a beautiful hidden beach found below very steep rocks. The only way to access it is by descending down steep steps carved out of the stone (250m altitude). It is the perfect place for those who wish to take advantage of its privacy. The pebbles on the beach are very small and clean, as is the sea at all times throughout the year. Because of its difficulty of access and anchoring, there is rarely a crowd at this beach, which is another advantage. There is no telephone coverage at this point and GPS navigation does not work.
Perfect beach, but quite small, still it does not have to be a disadvantage because the beach is not visited much. The path to the beach is also perfect, with beautiful views and trees. Must visit
Beautiful secluded pebble beach under 40 meters high cliffs. Great waves for fun.
Come early, it is not a large beach, gets crowded easily. Bring swim shoes if you need to stand in the water (medium sized boulders). We had awesome waves.
One of the most georgeus beaches Ive ever seen
The beach is famous, but the path to it is the most interesting part. There is a relatively safe parking nearby. Take aqua 👞 and umbrella if you want to stay longer.
Wonderful beach far away from the crazy Dubrovnik tourism. It can be a little bit crowdy as the beach itself is pretty small and with little room to lay. Expect to make some steps 🪜Bonus point: Free and huge parking
This is a beautiful one, but very much crowded. It also takes time to get there from the parking area. You need to go down on a slippery walking path that can be a real challange especially with kids.
Pathway to the beach is unfortunately covered with concrete 🤨. Such a shame to destroy such a beautiful nature. Also very crowded because its easily accessible. We came early and found our spot at the very end. We left little after noon time.Sea is clear and transparent, good for snorkeling 🤿
Amaizing beach. Clean water, wonderful view. Would not recommend for older people as the stairs are very steep and there is a long way down. Gets crowded around 10:00-11:00h.
A bit hard to get to the beach but worth it, you need a car or a taxi to get here. Dont really recommend to bring the smallest children. Its a stone beach and I dont have problem with that, but I saw a lot of people wearing shoes for bathing. Before you go down you have a small kiosk you can buy some soda or water from, might not always be there so bring your own dont take a chance. You do not want to be there without water.
Highly recommend! Extremely beautiful and wild beach! Very remote with breathtaking cliffs and caves. For those who are looking for an adventure and beautiful nature. A few things to consider, be prepared for a rather steep 10-15 minute hike along the cliffs upon arrival and departure. The views make it worth it! Unfortunately it’s not yet best suited for wheelchairs or infants with strollers. It can be done but you’re going to put some effort into reaching the beach and more leaving. Be aware how much you carry down because you’ll have to bring it back up. Be prepared with water and food. There’s nothing of the sort available on the beach. Also, it’s not a large beach so it could be crowded at certain times. But to reiterate, this place is a real gem!
Amazing beach! ITS SAFE. No black sea urchins. Just small pebbles and some stones but not slippery or dangerous. FKK - nudist friendly.
Very nice place, I recommend itParking is free
Great place, go early to get a good spacey bring an umbrella as there is no protection from the sun.
What a beautiful place. Access is a little challenging but worth it and offers great views.
Hidden gem. Small pathway leading to the beach offers easy access. There is no shade on the beach so bring your own ombrella and sun cream. Early morning or late afternoon is the best time to visit. Clear sea and pebbles are breathtaking.
Lovely beach, stunning scenery but not very child friendly. The sea was very rough when we visited last week, making it very tricky for them to get in the water.
Yes its beautiful but two problems. First, the walk is long and steep, so coming back youll be totally exhausted. Make sure you bring everything you need the first time. There are no stores or food there.Second, its all stone and no sand. Id rather go to a beach with easy access and sand than climb a mountain and hurt my feet for extra views.Water was warm and clear, but not much fish to look at. A few here and there. In summary, come here once to put a check mark on beautiful beaches, but dont expect to come back after climbing back.
Literally heaven! It totally worths it to walk down and up! Clear water & very clean! We went there early morning at weekend and it was not busy at all!
Best wild beach near Dubrovnik. Stunning beauty 💝
Fantastic place! Little bit difficult to reach, youll have to climb down and later up the hill, but its pretty wild one and very nice. We swim around one huge rock together with all our things and found another one private small beach which was even more beautiful than the main beach!
One of the most unique beaches in Croatia, must see if you are visiting Dubrovnik Riviera. You definitely need a car to reach the beach. About ~30 minutes from Dubrovnik old town. After reaching parking slots you need to walk down the beach approximately 10 minutes. Definitely bring enough food & drinks with you because there is to supermarket/restaurant nearby.
Beautiful beach with some prime snorkeling opportunities and clear turquoise waters.Come early to enjoy the shade of the cliffs as the sun gets hot.
One of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic. Must visit.
Beautiful beach! We went on a windy day and the water was very choppy (wouldn’t recommend for children if it isbut water is beautiful. Sign at the entrance says to be careful of the rocks from the cliff that might fall on the beach. Stunning view though!
In my opinion, the most beautiful beach in Croatia
Is great place for swimming but need walk many staircases
Absolutely amazing beach! Full day sun, you can watch the sunset from this location perfectly. There is no bar, toilets, food here. You should be ready for a little hike/walk down and back! Take around 10-15 min. There are plenty free parkings. It did not get super crowded while we were there mid September!
Great views although can get a little crowded. There is a 200 m walk to the beach with lots of stairs.
One of the most beautiful beaches I have seen in Croatia. Unfortunatelly the beach is around 50m long and it was a bit crowded when we visited it (September 4th, 2021).
Super nice beach located underneath some breathtaking cliffs. The water was very clear and warm. The path to the beach could be a bit difficult for some persons because there are a lot of stairs, but the effort totally worth it.
Really amazed by this place. Very warm water, strong Waves. Quite steep access but surpassingly scary as well when you see those tons of heavy rocks hanging above your head which can collapse in matter of seconds when moved by earthquake...Still worth visiting! Its really deserves 5*
One of the most amazing places I have ever seen. Every way you look views are fantastic. Sea is very warm and has gorgeous color. The beach is facing open sea so the waves are strong. It is popular place and you can expect many people there.
One of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia. If you like natural beauty this is the place to go.The trip does start with driving on a very very narrow road, and if you meet another car someone must back up since there’s only room for one. When you get to the end of the road you then have to walk 5-10 minutes down a beautiful but sometimes steep walkway to the beach. But it’s worthwhile! The beach is simply amazing. As taken out of a movie about paradise. The water is crystal clear, and the pebble beach is very nice. A lot of locals use it but it was not at all overcrowded, when we visited in July 2021.If you like snorkeling there are some great rocks on both sides of the beach with lots of fish and underwater fauna. There’s no shops or bars. So remember to take all you need with you.
This is a no facilities place (no bars or toiletsand it needs to stay such, beautifull nature, very unique for Croatian coast. Wear sneakers, the road you need to pass by foot is narrow and can be slippery. Take Water and umbrella bcz Sun hits hard there. Since published as one of the best beaches it is crowded, dont expect to be alone. No signal, no internet. Parking available. Sun reaches the beach by 6 pm aprox in the summer time. Take your trash with you, dont leave it there. Great for diving too. Good experience, adventure. Take a taxi, uber or Google the road to get there by car, all is marked pretty well. No buses. About an hour away from Dubrovnik by car.
Beautiful beach with an nice but long walk. No bar or anything just a clean natural beach far away from anything. There was enough parking space available.Because of the long walk up back to the car, we will probably only visit this beach once.It is beautiful but lacks any comfort. And probably also because Im too lazy.
Beautilful beach! But have in mind - no toilet or shop (bring enough water)also it can be very dangerous. Be aware of rocks that can fall down the cliff
It is a small beach close to Popovici. There is a picturesque ~500m trail from the parking area to the beach. The beach seems to be a popular spot as it was overcrowded on a workday in July.
Fantastic and picturesque beach neat Dubrovnik. Path from the parking to the beach in concrete, in some places quite steep but not very hard to go. If you come here, you wont regret it.
Great beach, water is crystal clear, but it is kinda difficult to get there. Not suitable for everyone.
Beautiful beach with clear sea. If you get up early so you will there almost alone. After 10:00 AM is the beach overcrowded but you have to count with that. When waves are huge the space for sunbathing is smaller than normal. Despite this is one of best beach in Croatia.
Incredible place! You can park almost at the start of the trail for free and walk down (a lot ofsteps of stairs. But the view from the bottom looking up is quite unique.
Extraordinary hidden gem in south of Croatia. Theres a wild parking in near vicinity. After you park you have to walk for about 5,6 minutes. Its easy going down but little harder going up. Its kinda steep.
