Paseo Piñones - Tourist attraction in San Juan, Puerto Rico
Paseo Piñones in San Juan
Description
Privilege
Lindos amaneceres
A nice little tidal area for kids to see fish and sea urchin. Not your tropical paradise beach but for kids it was great and with plenty of food nearby it was easy to fill a day.
So calm and good food 🥘
Great place to hang with family and friend for drinks.,food and sun
Great experience!
A lot of great places to eat and enjoy the beach as well
A 5 mile (ishlong walkway parallel to the beach. Some areas are shaded but most are uncovered so be prepared to get lots of sun. Its perfect for the much-needed walk youll want to go on after all the delicious fried goodies youll be munching on in the area
MoreBiking along the Paseo Piñones was one of the highlights of our trip, especially going through the mangrove forest--wonderful. (Yes there were holes and missing planks in the boardwalk, but still fine to bike on.)
MorePro: Great trails and the view. It is a great place for adventure.Cons: Hectic parking, traffic jams, substandard food service for the pricing, beach front full of trash (and no-one seems to care).
MoreGood to go and eat alcapurias sea food mofongo bacalaitos and drink cooll beerrr
MoreBeautiful place
OK
Really lovely bike trail! Takes you through a variety of terrains. The wooden docks are a little janky but I didnt feel unsafe. Loved this and would recommend to anyone looking for something active and off the beaten path near San Juan!

If you visit Puerto Rico,, YOU have to stop at Piñones for authentic Puertorrican seafood cuisine,,!
MoreNeeds more relief work but still a small island treasure! Great food! Good drinks!
MoreAlcapurrias y bacalaitos divinos
MoreVery relaxing!
Nice Ocean View I loved it its beautiful
Paseo Piñones is an about 5 mile (8 kmlong path along the coast for pedestrians and bicycles. In part it consists of a wood plank walk way, in part it is a tarred walk way. The parts with wood are a bit deteriorated (recent wave events and hurricane Mariaand one has to be careful because some planks are broken. There are two alternative ways after 1.7 miles - through the mangrove forest to the lagoon or parallel to the street east. The path rewards with spectacular views and Nature.
MoreThe food is very good but the parking is not that easy to find
Local food, next to the Ocean, beautiful place.
A lot of natural beauty but needs cleaning and maintenance.
Very good place to taste seafood turnovers and fried fish
The place is a miserable place to walk around. Theres garbage everywhere and broken glass. It looks like you are in a third world country. No one cares about cleaning after them. The restaurants are just as pigs. They make tons of money and not one restaurant has the Frikin decency to hire people to clean the amount of garbage right in front of their business. Everywhere u go there garbage. Filthy idiots to say the least.
MoreFood was good, good ambiance and music!!Right by the beach, if you GPS it put El Tablado Piñones!!
MoreHidden gem - bike trail winding along desolate beaches and over mangrove forests via wooden sidewalks. Stop along the way for a beer or local Puerto Rican snack such as alcapurrias or ceviche. Bring a towel for some beach time.
