Chef-driven comfort food (including several duck dishes) & full bar, inspired by a historic club.
Duck fat fries!! How are they so good?!?! The menu changes occasionally keeping things fresh and always delicious. The sandwiches are my favorite but I have yet to try anything that I haven’t like. Would recommend this to anyone.
Amazing breakfasts. There really is nothing more to say. Its probably the best breakfast ive had in a very long time and i would say ever, but im getting old and cant remember that far back!Great staff . Nice booths. The chutney was something special.Try it and you wont be dissapointed.
Interesting menu and ingredients. Served well and without too much of a wait. Some slight misses with flavour but still a strong contender. Vibrant atmosphere and cosy spots to sit. Youd better book.
omg the sausage!! xxxDuck leg was a bit salty to me but perfect with a pint.Coffee, ok, potato, fabulous.Would like to visit for dinner sometime. Reservation recommended.
This is a lovely place to eat - we visited at lunchtime and it wasn’t too busy. The food was delicious - well made and tasty. The portions were pretty small though, so if you’re in need of a big lunch, this isn’t the place. We had the duck club bun and the duck/nduja hash and they were both tasty. The duck fat fries were good (but not the best in Glasgow). The service was perfect - attentive, friendly, fast. The only thing I’d say is that our booth was very small - the table is narrow and there wasn’t a lot of space between me and my plate. Quite uncomfortable at times and I noticed other people struggling to get in and out too. Not a day ruiner or worth moving table for, but just something to bear in mind if you need easy access.4 stars because, although the food was decent and the service was good, it just didn’t feel worth £75 for a small lunch.
Great place with a very nice outdoors seating area option. The food is always incredible (though my friend says the latte is nothing to write home about). Love having lunch here!
One of my favourite spots to eat in Glasgow. Whether its brunch or dinner. Their duck fat fries are a must whether youre there at 9am or 9pm.Their brunch dishes are a real highlight too! Their duck egg benedict and avocado on toast dishes are great! As are the little cheese bites with nduja jam.
Love the menu choices, very fresh ingredients and decent portions. The coffee is also really good 😊
Food was nice, but I thought a bit expensive. Drinks were very pricey, £9.50 for a pineapple daiquiri and £3.25 for a small coke was a also rather expensive. £73 for 2 courses and 2 drinks in my opinion is a bit high.
Beautifully presented and deliciously flavoursome breakfast which we ate whilst sitting outside the restaurant on a Saturday morning. If you want to sit inside you have to book and probably worth booking in advance to avoid disappointment. Service was friendly and very attentive and would definitely return to try other delights from their menu. Cocktails also available if that takes your fancy. Would highly recommend!
Great food and service. PDC breakfast was very good; coffee was awesome.
Staff were very very helpful and friendly. Really loved the atmosphere they create. Ask if you want the vegan menu. There are some good things on it. Not sure about cost as I didnt pay but definitely worth checking out.
Probably the best full brekkie in town! The black pudding and tomato chutney were divine!
Came here for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food tasted as delicious as it looked- the duck burger is a must try. Staff were friendly and professional.
Booked for breakfast and where left standing at the door to get our table, the waitresses were very friendly and apologetic but the manager seemed to think this was acceptable.Eventually seated and the waitress was excellent, but basic things missing.. I had to ask for napkins and no side plate or knife to butter the toast.. this would be done in a cafe and I would expect it in a restaurant. The full breakfast was average but tomatoe chutney should be seperate as not to everyones taste ànd in centre of plate touching all of the food. The card machine was down so left sitting again the waitress apologetic and nothing from the manager until I asked.. customers expected to look around Partick for a cash machine. The manager at no point apologetic and seemed to think the customer was wrong.. in his words no point having a good at him.I certainly will not be back.Only pleasant experience was the waitress that served us.How did managers manage before technology... always have a back up plan. Print your seating plan.
Too expensive in my opinion. Stopped for a glass of wine with the sister and grandkids (aged 8 and 2£8.50 for mac n cheese for kids and there wasnt as much as you would get in a small tin of heinz - 2 x kids mac n cheese, 2 wines, 1 x juice and sour dough bread with dip - £50...wont be back
Such a lovely wee place. Sat outdoors and had a couple of small plates to nibble on and a drink. The benches are great to watch the world go by and the food is delish. Keep meaning to return.
Another great visit for me! Due to the pandemic pause it had been a while since I had visited. Delighted to return. Had an enjoyable evening - good food, great service, suitable libation, reasonable price. Must visit again!
This restaurant is fantastic. Its extremely popular, so Id advise booking ahead, I you can. Very reasonably priced and and the quality of the food is tremendous. Plenty of good options without going overboard. Also has a separate, vegan menu. Staff were lovely and helpful. Service was very good, despite how busy they were. Overall, a great choice for a meal. Definitely recommended.
The Duck Club has been our best discovery since living in Glasgow. The food is high quality and excellently executed, theres seasonal rotation in the menu, and the combiations are creative - ingredients that you wouldnt expect together match to perfection! Very well decorated inside and cosy to sit outside. Not cheaper than other similar places but the food is significantly better for the same price.
Delicious food freshly made, the duck bun is a must have! Great presentation and quick service too. Expensive place but worth the quality of food so it’s a nice place for a brunch/treat. Would definitely visit again!
A unique menu offering and attentive staff. Great for all meals of the day.
Made the trip through from Edinburgh on recommendation from friends in our inner circle and it did not disappoint!! Normally eat veggie but this was definitely a cheat day. Food was sublimmmmme - stand out dishes were the Duck fat fries w/ honey mustard mayo, diced crispy bacon & spring onion and also the Apple Crumble dessert. One of those meals you never want to end!Staff were friendly, service was attentive but never intrusive. Atmosphere was nice and relaxed even during a busy lunch time. We were driving so stuck to soft drinks so cant really comment on the drinks selection, but from a glance the tap beer offering looked pretty decent100% recommend and will be back (without car keys).
Wow! What a place, we had the crab, as an opener, and the duck and venison burgers for the main course. Everything was tasty and well worth the price of admission, but the venison was the clear star of the meal. It was unique and the flavours worked amazingly together. Will definitely be back.
Great service. Food is nice. Seating is great outside. Views may not look the best initially but it’s a great little corner to watch life go by and is pretty cosy. Prices on the upper side.
Lovely meal - staff very attentive. The duck according to my wife was the best shes ever had.I had the chicken schnitzel which was excellent .Would I go back - yes indeed. They also had a very nice outside seating area .All in all a very nice experience at the Duck Club..
Wow! The food was amazing, really delicious! The Service the best I have had in a long time; There when you needed them, but not in your face!Perfect. We will definitely return.
The food is great, the duck bun juicy in hoisin sauce, the avocado and crab on sourdough and poached egg superb, the chips in duck fat with cheese and pepper were small crispy treats. The service was great, promptly served, water on the table, menus out etc. We sat outside on Saturday with the market right across the road. It stayed sunny for an hour till the sun went behind the tenements, but it is March, will stay longer later. We were given 2 menus, too much choice, too many options, took us a long time to work out what to have.
I ate a slow cooked duck burger. The meat and veggies inside are good combination, there is a balanced flavour between spicy and sweet. I recommend people who want to try something unique.
Great themed atmosphere, wonderful staff and a fabulous menu executed to perfection! A wonderful place for a fancy treat! Looking forward to going back!
First time visit, booking in advance particularly at weekends is advised. The food and service were excellent. I had a starter, main and dessert (shown in picsand all courses were delicious.Highly recommended!
Absolutely cannot say anything bad about this place. For what you get the price is cheap. Food is perfect and every single flavour is met. Duck fries are outstanding. Heading back for their 12 hour duck leg soon
Wonderful breakfast if you want something a little different. We both ordered the duck leg hash. It was surprisingly spicy which I love and the bread was incredible. Service was also fantastic. Cant wait to visit for dinner!
Lovely food. Nice atmosphere and very welcoming and attentive staff. Wine a bit pricey.
Only tired the fries but they were really really tasty! We went just after lockdown had lifted so we werent able to sit in. The interior looked great tho cant wait to visit again and see inside
I have to say that this restaurants duck dishes are the most delicious in Glasgow. My boyfriend and I reallylove these cuisines. Service is also the best in Glasgow. I would definitely recommend to my friends and come back again.😉
Visited for breakfast on our last day in Glasgow. This place was a good find - very interesting breakfast menu. The food we had was delicious - couldnt really fault it at all.Slightly on the pricey side would be my only criticism.
Very impressed with the food! Quality ingredients, beautifully cooked and presented. Apart from a dinner menu they have a brunch all day menu, which is great. The Orkney crab avocado on sourdough was amazing 👏 the duck fat fries are arguably the best fries in Glasgow!
Without question my favourite place to eat, not just because of the food. Always receive a friendly welcome and all staff are delightful. Venison burger should make a comeback and perhaps a few more mains dishes but overall fantastic. 👌🏽
I had been keen to try Partick Duck Club for over a year after discovering them on Instagram and finally got to visit yesterday.I cannot rate the food highly enough, every single mouthful was sheer bliss! The staff were lovely and its clear to see they really care about you enjoying your experience. Social distancing measures were practiced well without feeling over the top. We ate inside but the outdoor seating areas looked lovely and have been cleverly designed.I have visited lots of places I have been wishing to try over the last month and all were nice with tasty food, but only this place made me think wow, I cannot wait to go back! The beef shin duck egg benedict is a must and the truffle fries are out of this world good. You have to try it!!
Mid-week breaks are the best especially with the #eatouttohelpout scheme. It has proper cleanliness rules a d maintenance. As our table was booked, we walked in. It was only for one hour 15 mins. It was a little less a time for us but we had great time eating and chatting! We had duck club bun ..shredded spiced bbq duck leg pomegranate mayo, coriander & pickled sweetheart and Flaky Smoked Salmon, scrambled eggs with Sourdough. My fav was the truffle mayo, parmesan & black pepper duck fat fries.... with a cup of hot chocolate ... lovely 🤤🤤Visiting Glasgow... dont miss visiting this place.. reservations recommended. And if its a sunny day, enjoy sitting out 😁
Great food and great service! We wanted a veggie eggs benedict so they replaced the bacon with an extra egg at no extra cost. Highly recommended. And try to get a seat outside
Very very lovely food. Its quite busy and theres not much seating unfortunately but if you do decide to wait or eat by the stools its definitely worth it 👌🏾 I had an egg pepper dish from the breakfast menu and it was delicious! So fresh and filling and very tasty in terms of seasoning. The food was presented well and the service was very good. Their food is slightly on the pricier side but It was yummy. My friend got the burger and really loved it so I do recommend that too.
Very good experience. Went this Sunny Sunday around lunchtime and it was obviously quite packed but service was very careful and attentive while we were waiting. The food was one of the best I had in a long time. Real food, real flavours, real ingredients. You could feel the attention given to every plate. Really good. Definitely recommend!
Excellent wee restaurant just a bit back from the hustle and bustle of Dumbarton Road. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. As you would expect from a place called “Duck Club” there’s a strong emphasis on duck, but it’s served in some delicious and innovative forms. If the duck isn’t quite your thing there’s plenty other lovely dishes to chose from. The truffle mayo fries in particular were excellent and I highly recommend them.
Arrived there with three tables empty but were told they r all reserved. Having no tables left for the walk in guests is absolutely a letdown. Food is ok, however the duck fat fries were quite greasy and the sourdough bread was nearly burnt. The fried cinnamon bun with ice cream didn’t impress us either, it’s greasy n a bit on the burnt side. We normally agree with the positive reviews but this time we r sad to find the food is surprisingly disappointing and overpriced.
Great brunch spot - big varied menu and lots for vegan/veggies. Good portions and friendly staff. Can be busy so book ahead!
when we first walked in the atmosphere was quiet and there werent that many other people there, however wed booked in and our table was ready (so no surprises yet!the decor was very modern and cool looking with the kitchen at the back we could see down into which was nice but OHH MY GOD LOOK AT THIS BURGER!!!! It was absolutely fricken insanely good! we ordered the duck burger and got a side of the bacon fries to share honestly best meal of the year so far. not to mention the damned cinnamon desert! Id never had anything like it so it was a gamble but definitely paid off and will be going back again thanks for having us!!!
Great spot for brunch, menu was varied with good vegetarian options which were delicious and beautifully presented. Staff were attentive and coffee was excellent. Portions perhaps slightly small for the price-the cheesy beano or the avocado, spinach and sour cream on sourdough could easily have been spread over two slices of bread which would have been more filling without costing the establishment much more.
Always a pleasure visiting the duck club. Super friendly staff and cool buzzy atmosphere. Highly recommend making a booking. The roasted duck is delicious, and mean cocktails. Be wary the bloody Mary is very spicy !
