408 S Texas, Eagle Pass, TX 78852, United States, Piedras Negras
Spacious, colorful eatery featuring a range of Mexican classics such as fajitas, tacos & margaritas.
Best place in Eagle Pass to have some Mexican dishes, desserts are also great. The restaurant is beautiful on the inside and the personnel is polite and helpful. I always go back whenever Im in Eagle Pass.
Food was good. Though I cant say the same for the service. I waited almost 10 minites for my tortillas to get to my table. The gentelmen didnt even acknowledge he had forgotten them. At least an apology would have been appropriate. The place was not when busy. Oh well had to eat my steak fajita cold.
Great salsas for the chips. Excellent flavor from the plates we order. Definitely going back here next time we are in town again.
Charro beans were too spicy to enjoy , tone it down a lil please .... Fried 🍤 Shrimp were ok baked potatoe was like a 2 inch baby potatoes lol .Aint no everything is big in Texas here . Farm burger my son loved it . Fajita tacos (4)for 1?.99 more like street tacos flour or corn tortillas same size (small. Waiter only came once to check on us . Others came to check on is more than him . It was so so better that fast food for dam sure . Go check it out yourself
Place starting to need a paint job. Walls are a bit beat up on bar side. Food good thou👍.
Its been maybe over 5years I have not been here, overall the service is awesome and courteous. The food has always been good, our only iffy was the rice. They put too much of garlic I want to say. Other than that it was great. Thank you
Usually receive A+ service however this female server was absent for most of the time we were there. We had to wave down a male server from another section to bring us refills and didn’t check back to make sure our meal was satisfactory. Overall Great food and drinks. The steak and shrimp are delicious.
Amazing menu and food! Staff offer superior customer skills. We went for bloody Mary’s and oysters.
Food and service was very good. First time to Eagle Pass and I would go back to this restaurant on my next trip.
The food was delicious and worth the price. The waiter was great at taking our order and checked in us constantly. Only wish they had homade tortillas. Other then that will come again and let others know about the awesome service, food, and drinks and dessert.
The restaurant is excellent and the atmosphere is very nice…they have a great venue and their food is excellent as well as their service
Had one of the soups. It tasted geat just wasnt hot. It was Luke warm and after waiting for almost an hour for it I decided just to eat it like that.
Very bougie decorated but the food was not all that. My husband and I ordered fajitas and a mixed drink. I can honestly say I just went once and never again.
The Pollo Rosa Maria was exceptionally delicious. Cheese cake was the bomb. Great food and service.
Very nice interior but the food was all wrong. Streaks over cooked, Tampiqueña has red enchiladas instead of green as stated on the menu. Food took forever to be prepared. The service was great though with different waiters never letting our soft drinks run out.
Do yourself the favor and try the queso flameado. Its delicious but its a naturally oily appetizer and if you try it somewhere else and its not oily... sorry to say but you ate something else.
The food and asthetics of this place were great. Felt like I was eating in a restuarant in Mexico. Probably the best beans Ive ever had. We went there 2 nights in a row while visiting the area. I definitely recommend. The only ding I have on the place is that the service could be a little faster and better. Wasnt horrible, can just be improved by checking in more often.
Terrible services, servers walking around ,ignoring you . Took 15 min to get a chance to order drinks and waited 40min to get our food. Who gives u a cold parrillada with 1lb of cheese on top. Do not recommend at all.
I was a litttle disappointed this visit, the portions were extremely reduced as you can see in the pics. We had mollejas as an appetizer and El Choncho for the main couse. On the upside, our server was very fast and efficient and the taste was delicious.
Super fast service & staff friendly as always. Food was excellent & it wasnt as busy as its in the evenings.
Great customer service, and a good menu to pick from. Although they were busy, wait times were very reasonable.
First off, the waitress was very unprofessional, I ordered the Camaron Vallarte and when I received my food the bacon and shrimp were raw and uncooked, she offered to get another plate, except I was already disgusted with the food and didnt want to wait any longer. So instead of charging half for the plate she charges for the whole meal. Also their alcohol drinks were very lacking.
Dam good food like always and service was awesome . My wife and I always eat here
The chicken soup was a little salty, other than that, it was pretty good.
When we asked for separate checks, we were all given checks for the table total. We then had to explain again that we wanted checks only for the total of each separate person. When the checks arrived we were all given checks for the wrong person at the table. This all happened after waiting 30 mins for food for a table of 4 and having the waiter try and take a plate while one of us was actively eating off of it.
Probably the best place to eat in Eagle Pass. Im a New Yorker (no, not hellish NYCand am used to variety and healthy options which dont exist here. This place offered both, at great prices. My only issue is that the service was VERY slow. No other complaints. Everyone was happy with their orders. It will be a staple of my dining over the next few weeks I am here.
Good food! Please stay with them because they are short staffed.
Very nice, service, food etc.all thumbs up...if the owner whats to make a lot of more money put one at the domain in Austin but twice as big we need a real Mexican food place...
Im so sorry I had to walk out before I could order anything. I went with a friend and was told the wait would be 25 minutes. I provided my name and number, expected a phone call but after some time elapsed we decided to go inside to find plenty of open tables/booths. The hostess was kind and mentioned she tried to call but the call wasnt going through. I already expected this issues since I had to repeat my number several times to the first person that I came in contact with. When seated we noticed there was silverware and food particles on the seats. The table still had water marks from the previous customers that were seated there. Even with these issues I was still excited and ready to have a nice meal. However, it didnt stop there we waited around 7-10 minutes before the waiter came around, (I would understand if it was busy or packed but this was not the issue at this particular timewe asked for a drink menu and he simply walked a way cleaning other tables before he came back with a menu. As soon as he handed it to my friend he walked away again. This was the last straw for us. Ive heard great things about this place and have been here multiple times but this was just not acceptable. Again Im so sorry I had to write a negative review but I was extremely disappointed and upset about my experience here.
We Always come to this spot when visiting Kickapoo Casino! It’s just one of those places in Del Río that you know you’re going to get Great Food and Awesome Service! Today, we had the pleasure of being served my Eddie aka “Lalo”; talk about Friendly; Attentive; Professional; and just very Welcoming!A sharp, young man who’s going places! Wish we would’ve taken a before pic of our dinner but it was so good, we gobbled it all down! And it’s definitely a Beautiful Environment inside—looks like you’re outside but in the comfort of AC! Definitely recommend this place—and make sure to ask for Eddie; you’ll get the BEST Service! 👍🏽
On 4/1/22 During My Hour Lunch I went and order a Taco Norteño... it took almost 45 mins maybe more to get my simple small order for 1 person. I didnt enjoy my Lunch..! other than that place is clean and nice but dont stop here unless you are aware order might take an hour before you eat.
Walked up and sat down at the bar and in under a minute I had a cold beer and a food menu. All of the people were great and the steak and shrimp dinner was delicious and really well priced. Ill definitely be eating here again.
Filthy, dirty menus.. I like to go to clean places and we started off on the wrong foot right at the beginning.
This place was excellent. This was our first time visiting eagle pass and was suggested we eat here. They opened at 11 am and we were the first to arrive. The service was fast the server was attentive and the food was outstanding. The tlalpeno soup was the BOMB! I suggest it!
We had a large group of 20 family members meet here after a funeral. We received terrible service. We waited an hour and a half for our food at 3 in the afternoon, the restaurant was not busy and they had plenty of staff. We had to get up and go to the bar to get drink refills and got an attitude for asking for refills of Pepsi and tea. The taco meat was tough and was a tortilla with meat, no toppings, and a side of rice with way too much garlic.. The Caldo soup was good, but was more of a tortilla soup. The restaurant itself is nice, the service was terrible.
The food was very good .. Hubbys 9oz steak he said it was very delicious and good size ... The only thing was it was cold in restaurant and very uncomfortable 😕
We usually take a random road trip and in thus case its what we did. We came to Eagle Pass just for the fun, we were looking for a place to eat. A family friend recommended this place, we both agree the food was delicious and would definitely try it again. The only reason why it didnt get a 5 star rating was because the service was bad. We got skipped to be seated then finally got seated. There was a wait which wasnt too bed from what we were told, which was 10 mins. But we got passed for a group of 4 that came in 10 mins after we did and we were a group of 2. Once we got seated we were shown menus for food but no drink menus. We never received utensils or napkins. We received our appetizer and drinks but still no utensils or napkins. We saw a buser who brought us what we ordered but yet still had to stop random waiters who were not our waiters for some kind of utensil and then we only received one napkin but after the fact that my husband had to ask for it. We never got asked if we needed anything else. Service needs improvement but food was delicious.
Very nice staff is young but they where awesome great customer service
Beautiful interior. The interior has an outdoor decor which makes it seem like you are actually dining outdoors. The food is great. The menu is extensive. Will definitely be going back to try something different. Waitstaff is prompt and courteous. 2 thumbs up for the overall experience.
This is such a very nice place to enjoy a good meal. The Filete Maya was so good and the Godiva cheesecake was rich and very delicious. I will definitely come to Parrilla De San Miguel restaurant again
First time here service was excellent and my shrimp tacos were so good and my wife had the chicken flautas, for an appetizer we had the queso panela asado with tomatillo sauce it was delicious try it
Best mojito ever...love this place.ordered steak with poblano medium rare it was magnificient...best place Ive eaten in awhile. Arturo made me two awesome mojitos very good. Thank you for the escape at this restauranti had a wonderful time...
The Maya is AMAZING!!!! Absolutely the best dish Ive had in Eagle Pass! I highly recommend it!
I Went here with a group of 7 during a busy lunch hour and the service was still very good and fast. I opted for the sirloin tacos which were delicious.
The most excellent guacamole Ive had in years. The presentation was beautiful!!!! I also ordered the calamari and that was awesome..... Was going to order dinner but the portions were gigantic and I was getting stuffed. I did in fact order some enchiladas for tomorrow but havent tried them yet. The servers were super nice and attentive. Gracias Eduardo!
Fantastic food, fantastic service, beautiful restaurant to sit down and relax.next time we are in town ,we will come back
We live in Minnesota. Come to Visit my husband family every year and today was our first visit to San Miguel...The Atmosphere, the service, the presentation of the food and the taste of food was Awesome and Delicious!. 5 stars for sure!
Amazing experience every time . A must if your in Eagle pass I eat at least 2 or 3 times a week .
Food is amazingly good, service was also good. It has a very Miguel de Allende feel to it. Had the Top Sirlon well done and although I got something different food was amazing. Forgot to take picture of it. Desert of Flan was super good. Highly recomend this place.
Food was delicious and our server Benito was amazing. Excellent customer service. Definitely coming back next time were in town.
