The main park has an entrance fee meaning that if you dont want to pay you end up walking along a 1km concrete path with little or nothing to see.Rather disappointing that it is not freely open to the public ..There is also only 1 public bathroom was is absolutely disgusting and has no lights...

Great park to spend a relaxing time and take some great pictures in Villahermosa. Several vendors add to the full Mexican city experience and support you with food and drinks while you are on your walk through a picturesque scenery. Definitely worth a visit! Note that the letters of Villahermosa were not at its designated place in the middle of May 2021 (and not anywhere close). However, the park is huge and has many great sights to offer so you can be sure to take some great pictures.

This park is such great example of how trees can make a difference in lowering high temperatures. Careful with the crocodiles and coatis!

Nice park with a nice walkway around the lake, with plenty of wildlife mostly birds and some crocodiles in the water. When walking though the night you will also see a lot of cats. Has a nice kids area also.

I enjoy visiting la venta park with my family. We always have fun there. You can visit the museum where you can see the emblematic "cabeza olmeca" or the "olmeca head". And many other ancient olmeca pieces. Although there is a zoo with animals of the zone. Like the jaguar, and black panther. Next to the zoo is the "ilusiones" lagoon. Where you can take beautiful pictures. And do not forget to visit the Mayan show on weekends, its fantastic. So I really recommend it if you are around villahermosa.
