The road is in very bad shape, dont go unless you are an experienced trail runner interested in the local trail circuits

Unfortunately when I visited was December and there hadnt been a lot of rain for some time so the waterfall was not very abundant. Its definitely worth the hike or the horse ride, however you choose to go. Make sure your guide makes a stop at a country place called José, for a refreshing guarapo and to taste the real origins of Cuban music.

The trails are great and offer amazing views, the waterfalls are just a treat ! Not dangerous at all but wear those climbing shoes as it does help with the slippery areas. Be careful ! :)

Beautiful water and a cool rock formation to jump off.

Extremely beautiful scenery! Waterfalls give a magical appearance! We received a free welcome cocktail and lunch of good quality! Would definitely recommend this tour!

I went there in may 2019 with a guide on horse. The water was low and no waterfall. The price of cocktails were fair, about 3 cuc. There is a very dirty place next to the waterfall were people go, to change clothes or to go to bathroom. There are very little fishes to see and the visibility is very poor. It was included in my total excursion. Its worth spending time for 1 - 2 hours.

Amazing place, very quiet and relaxing. The local guide did show us a lot of the flora & fauna of the national park. Theres a great waterfall where you can swim at the end.

Anyone that loves hiking should do this tour! Sooo beautiful!We had a 70 something lady do the hike as well as a family with young children. Its good for all people!

Beautiful waterfall in beautiful landscape!! We recommend this walk/ hiking tour to everybody and also to taste the coffee at the entrance!!! Best coffee so far in Cuba!You have to wear good shoes to clim the phats up the small mountains :)Only basic hiking level neededOne more reason to fall in love with Trinidad and Cuba <3

The is not the luxuriant tropical park you might be looking for but Cuba has not much wild nature to offer, so this is either this or nothing.

Excellent walk to the waterfall. Nature at its finest with a wasps nest to view and birds to watch

Very beautiful scenery and easy-to-walk paths. "Rambo tour" across some stones and weirs along the river is a must.

Great place to do outdoors sports, hiking, sight seeing, if you have the opportunity, visit it.

Very Scenic Park

Beautiful, well worth the trek to the waterfalls, just be aware that amenities arent readily available so be prepared to pop behind a bush for the loo and bring your own water. There are stands along the roads and lovely coffee at the plantation but once youre in the park proper youre in your own

Beautiful nature for hiking

A 45 minute hike to get there. Cool, clear water to swim in. Bring goggles. 10 cuc each to get in.

Nice natural reserve to walk around. Be prepared to go down to a beautiful waterfall for 20-30 minutes and after climb up very hard...You can swim in a waterfall lagoon

Very good place for ecotourism

Some rooms were not refurbished, but still used. The other rooms were excellent. So after a switch OK.

Paradise in the mountains with coffee plantations, sour orange trees, and beautiful camping and hiking trails.

We enjoyed a small hike here. Road wasnt as bad as we read in guide book. Wishes we stayed at the hotel at the top and hiked two days. Beautiful. Really cute cafés and home restaurants around. Really nice get away

Beautiful nature and waterfalls. Went on a local tour for a hike and swimming in the lake.

Amazing place. We went with a local driver up to the hill to see the city and then continued. The waterfalls were about an hour walk from the stop. The entrance is 10CUCs (ask for a receipt). Great trip for one day. The waterfalls are beautiful.

Nice tour to the waterfall Vegas Grande by Cubatour. Note that the included lunch was terrible.

We didnt see much of the Park but our tour bus crossed the South end of it in late March 2015 at a time when there were many thousands of crabs coming back into the park from the beach after laying their eggs. The driver had to slow down about 1 mph as we crunched over the crabs. Unbelievable! Please see the picture I have posted.

Beautiful! Beautiful! I hiked, fell in love with the waterfall, the natural pools, the creeks and the birds. The path was a bit strenuous at times, but it was worth it and pushed me out of my comfort zone. It was worth every step, and every moment. Thank you for preserving this wonderful park.

A great national park where you do a lot of hiking and enjoy the pure nature.

A beautiful park to visit. If you are scared of heights, dont jump, just crawl into the water from the side.
