Parque Nacional Mudumu in Rundu

Einer unser Lieblingsparks! Extrem leer, nicht mal mehr Leute am Gate/Tor. Man kann in der Trockenzeit alles super erkunden, keine schwierigen Pisten (Richtung Wasser!- und wir haben massenweise Elefanten gesehen. Es gibt sogar einen Lookout/Hide.Im Osten (andere Straßenseitewurde es sehr tiefsandig. Da sind wir fast stecken geblieben und es gab nur ein paar wenige Elefanten.

We spent 4 nights in camp 3...the most beautifull setting, but not safe. Yesterday parks boat and vehicle came to warn us that they found foot prints of illegal fishermen. We put most of our valuables away, but this morning discovered that we had visitors in the night that stole what we left out....so how safe is one? We reported the incident and Parks management reacted very quickly. Only afterwards did we hear about a tourist being murdered a few years ago at camp 3.

Nature is always amazing depending on the season your viewing experience will vary but it will be the experience of a lifetime

Nice tar main road through the park. Nakatwa Campsite #3 is wild with a great view over the Kwando River. Long drop toilet unusable. It is dilapidated & overgrown. Helpful to have the map from reception which you get for free upon paying fees. Updated fees now include a conservation fee. Santika lookout overgrown & not tidy but accessible.

Wonderful, unspoiled nature reserve. 4x4 recommend.

Den Park können wir leider nicht wirklich bewerten, waren zum falschen Zeitpunkt dort. Der Regen hatte alles unter Wasser gesetzt. Trotzdem haben wir die üblichen Verdächtigen, wie Antilopen und Giraffen gesehen. Und, Hippos die übereinanderlagen😊👍🇳🇦

Great National Park! We saw plenty of animals. Would recommend this park anytime.

Parc incontournable ! Vie sauvage incroyable avec beaucoup dhippo, déléphants, de buffles etc. On peut entendre les lions et autres aimaux plus discrets la nuit. Expérience hors du commun. Attention au sable !

Kleiner, übersichtlicher Park, jederzeit für Selbstfahrer geeignet, auch bei Safariabfängern.

Habe sehr viele Elefanten und auch andere Tiere gesehen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Great place. The first animal we saw was a leopard!! Fantastic birding with very diverse biomes

The place is fantastic and it has alot of different animals which i saw,,like giraffe,springbok,zebra,elephants just to mention a few.

Small but nice. Plenty of elephants close to the river.

An early drive is good for viewing wildlife crossing the road. I saw a male lion and a cub.

We saw only eagles, zebras, impalas, warthogs, heartbeests, gazelles, a lot of different birds. The landscape is beautiful but didnt see any lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, cheetahs,... If you go, expect to see few animals and a beautiful landscape. The signs of the park are few and its difficult to know where you are.

Very different than other national parks such as etosha. Smaller, yet offers more adventure. be aware of the elephants!

2 Geparden, die direkt vor uns so um 18 Uhr über die Teerstraße schländerten. Was wieder beweisst: es hat nichts mit der Größe des Parks zu tun, sondern mit viel Glück

What an incredible park. Wistful birding & animal sightings

Its fairly small and the was almost no game or birds to be seen (during winter - dry season). The park office is off the road at the most Northerly end, on the river side, where you can get a permit and a map. Some sections, particularly the larger side are very sandy so you will need a 4x4 with your tyres deflated.
