Good place to walk and ride bicycles a little bit unattended but good place overall
MoreI find this park to be amazing! A best kept secret!
Amazing place for outdoors activities
Nice place but the parking lot is very limited
The Best place for BSA Outdoor Trainning and others. Mountain Biking,Trail Running, Backpacking, Camping Etc.
MoreThis place is unique. It’s a campsite, equestrian park, running trail and mountain biking trail. The site also has a bunch of old bunkers. Nos of the bunkers are in disrepair, but some are being repurposed as offices and storage. They charge a small $4 fee to park and there is plenty of parking. The park has bathrooms and showers. We camped out with the scouts and had a great and safe time. When we were here, there was no electricity.Parking - plenty for $4Space - tons of area for camping, running, and bikingFire pits - noneGrills - noneBathrooms - yesShowers - yesElectricity - maybe
MoreLots of nice walking trails
Great place to relax, have a picnic see "bunkers" and enjoy nature.
If you wanna hike def go here.
Good place to be in contact with nature you can run, walk, Mountain biking ride, they even have an área to practice Paso Fino horse ride. But need more mainteinance.
MoreBeyond Amazing trail, you wouldnt think much of it till you got there. A Hidden gem right beside the base and Goya
More5.7 to 512+ ;)Nice park with climbing.
Former military post is now a passive park plus mountain bikes 5 difficulty level trails, horses available for therapy, obstacles course for horses. Bathrooms available. A small place to buy coffee.
MoreThere are some areas that need a little more care. Over all, its a nice place for a walk but avoid the tall grass as it could easily be a hiding spot...
MoreWe went to the 5th Equestrian Contest 2021 in this Park. The event was well organized! Kudos to the people who keep this place so clean and beautiful!
MoreBring plenty of water!
We went rock climbing here and it was Amazing. The trails were so well maintained for a variety of out door activities. It was clearly a favorite place for mountain bikers too and had really neat signs to tell you how hard the paths would be. The climbing areas were shaded and we had a fantastic day there. 10/10 would recommend. 10/10 would return.
MoreExcellent fun park for trail riding, walking, jogging, rock climbing, bird watching, peace seeking, etc. Used to be part of a nearby military base, bunkers can still be seen, most of which are covered by vegetation. Also, home to a police station and horseback riding training venue. At its highest point, one can see part of the nearby coast, including Old San Juan. Among its varied vegetation, one can find the Ceiba, a variety of tree that can be over a hundred years old.Trails and rock climbing areas are well maintained by local crews, although some other areas could be better maintained by the administration.
MoreGreat dane lace to hike and do trail running. Also good for mountain bike and wall climbing
MoreNice small park, situated 15 min from San Juan center, very good for everyday training. Mountain biking, rock climbing, running inside beautiful rain forest. Many interesting trees and flowers.
MoreAmazing park! Also great for climbers. Some great beginner routes because the limestone has solid hand holds.
MoreYay!!!! If you have a mountain bike is a great experience near San Juan. Perfect and tailored routes! You can go to have a great hike too!
MoreGreat climbing and mountain biking right near the city! Wish they would include a map that also had the climbing areas labeled.
MoreGreat family park with deep woods trails for hiking, climbing and mountain biking!
MoreTo earn that other star, they should finish whatever theyre doing. Good tracks, to train or just have fun mountain biking.
MoreThis place is a wonderfull secondary forest in the middle of Bayamon City where before it was a part of the military base of bucannan. Great to make exercise especially for offroad bike and off road running!! A lot of offroad hilly trails recommend to be with a companion. Not a lot of restrooms or rest areas. You will need to be well prepared and just enjoy the ride!!!
MoreThis place is perfect 👌 for cycling its super big so dont get lost.
Excited !!! Incredible...we had thr greatest time ever🙂🙂
Hidden gem near fort Buchanan. Great shaded trails which never get old on a long ruck march. Multiple scenery, to include various surfaces to walk/jog on. There is a $4 parking fee which is well worth it.
MoreLove this beautiful and awesome place for hiking/ running/ cycling and lots of adventure.
MoreGreat to have some peace and quite while walking around. Been visiting this place for years.
MoreSuper nice ride, hope rain in the weekend. Some trees in the ground.
The park was beautiful, but I spent all of my time in the climbing area a 10 minute walk into the forest. The rock here is lovely, the routes are fun. If youre in the area and you like to rock climb, check it out.
MoreVery interesting facility, the rock climbing is great if you have a professional accompanying you, they do not have one on hand. The trails are very clean and the views are good, as well as the little caves but the tower is “Enter at your own risk” please be very careful. Bring your food and drinks since you won’t be able to buy nothing in there. It is a place with great tourism potential under the right hands but it is not the case right now.
MoreGreat place to run, mountain bike, hike, rock climb or just explore.
Great place to be in contact with nature and to practice Rock climbing, hiking, or mountain bike.
MoreWe spent a couple of days here for rock climbing. Some of the coolest rock I’ve ever seen. It’s like nothing I’ve ever climbed before. There are traditional face climbs, but also tons of huge and deep hueccos and walls with tufa for days! The climbing community in Puerto Rico is one of the best I’ve seen and their routes were proof. Don’t miss this place if you’re a climber! I felt like I was climbing in an area straight out of an Indian Jones movie. :)
MoreExcellent place for camping and mountain bike
Tropical vibes , excellent rock climbing.
Excelente place to MTB cycling and walk around
Great for running and hiking but many trails still closed.
One of the top rock climbing areas in Puerto Rico with more than 200 bolted climbs. There is a $4 entrance fee that can be avoided if you park across the street from the entrance in a large lot. Located next to the Goya factory and a kids prison, formerly part of the adjacent US Army base and still used as a police training base. Also popular for mountain biking.
MoreGreat place to hike and get in touch with nature. Mountain biking trail running and rock climbing are available here. Also picnic tables and restrooms are available. $4 entrance fee
MoreExcelente parque para aventurar, mountain bike, hiking y rock climbing.
Amazing biking place from the newbie to the pro. Nice maps and trail specs in the begining of each trail. Hightly recomended
MoreOne of my favorite places for biking. Paths range from easy to difficult. Be confident!
MoreAwesome park to go hiking, rock climbing and mountain biking. The only downfall if you are going to frequent this park you may want to park outside of it, the price for a parking lot is unbelieve expensive and raising. Because of that I give it a 3 stars.
MoreFun climbing routes, some easier too 5.8 to 5.12 all very well protected. all have their own anchors. Easy approach of about ten or fifteen minutes. Get a guidebook from Adventuras in San Juan. Mountain biking looks good too.... I wish I had brought .y bike!
