Parque Central in Boyeros

The thing that attracts me most to this location is the wonderful warm, beautiful spirit of the Cuban people. Specifically at this five-star hotel I would like to say that they have been some the sweetest warmest nicest people.Yani is the captain of the staff and she beams like a beautiful ray of sun.She gracefully runs the Bar Portico.Yusenia will educate you on Cuban cigars and rum. She also charms with her smile.Karile has the biggest heart and an engaging inviting personality.Everyone makes me feel at home from the top of management to the reception area to the house keepers. I feel like I am home with family.I will be there again. So should you.

Beautiful square in the heart of a very busy city

Its very well located in between central and old Havana, walking distance from the Malecon. Breakfast is pretty decent considering youre in Cuba. Swimming pool chairs have no shade, which can be a bummer as it gets really hot.The only complain was the live music in the lobby - way too loud - and the service was slow.Also, dont pay with credit card. It will be more expensive if you pay in pesos.

Wonderful little park in the center of Havana. Perfect for an afternoon or evening stroll and admire the wonderful architecture of the surrounding buildings.

What a nice place with so many different peoples and music all around this place

Whatever you do there, never ever use a horse carriage that waits there and offers rides.These poor animals are mostly in appalling conditions and forced to stand in full sunlight all day and carry you on street surfaces not made for horse hoofs.If you walk a side street you see a lot of these horses that cant bear it anymore standing around and collapsing without being taken care of. They are only used as your motor, nothing else.So if you have any regard for the wellbeing of animals, stop using them to get around town. Rather use a car.Only if nobody uses them anymore they disappear and the owners who do not treat them well will find other ways to make money there.

Plenty of seats to sit down and relax. Also plenty of vintage car rides start from here.

Great! Nice scenery with rich and deep history of Havana. I would recommend finding a free walking tour in your language to learn more about the landmarks and sights.

Central Park in Havana is one of the best known and central sites of the city. Among the buildings surrounding the park are among othersThe Great Theatre of Havana and many hotels.

Right in the center of Havana, next to the Capitolio! Very nice place to sit or get a bite to eat etc but can be very busy and are hassled by lots of people as a tourist!

Great place you need to go to in the heart of the city. You can find a taxi, wait for the bus or just sit for a little while going around the beautiful Havana.

This central opening is quaint and calming in the middle of Havana. Iconic destinations and monuments surround the park, including the Hotel Inglaterra and the Capitol Building. I stopped here and relaxed for a spell after a busy day exploring the downtown and can confirm that the palm trees provide nice cover as well.

Lovely spot in the evening. Come early and watch everything light up, before taking a stroll down Boulevard San Rafael.Disclaimer: Don’t speak with anyone who randomly walks up to you trying to start a conversation - they’re all scammers selling fake tickets, running currency conversion scams and trying to take unsuspecting tourists to venues that will rip you off with inflated prices in order to pay the scammer who took you there a large commission. Ignore anyone you don’t know personally and do not engage in conversation with strangers.

Hardly a park but surroundings are great

………What an incredible immaculate-lii well-manicured and maintained area of Havana. Parque Central is right in the middle of this area and in this square or park is a large pure-white statue of Jose Marti right in the centre surrounded by palm-trees paved pathways going in different directions with spotless-lii clean flowerbeds that are in full bloom. This is about the most impressive area in central Havana where the vibe is always electric filled with tourist and locals alike. The locals gather here especial-lii the young-men to have live-lii get-to-gather and have a rip roaring time bickering about the American football and basketball matches which some of them have seen. And the tourist come because it is here in this area where the open-top buses “TurBus” starting point is that provides tours of Havana and also take passengers to the eastern beaches ‘Playa del Este” but the most important fact is that it is here where the famous Cuban classic “Old-Cars” rides are to be found. You can choose whatever colour or type of car you want to tour or just have a ride in, there are even vintage models to choose from and even the horse-drawn carriages are right here. This area is also home to a few of the top posh and grandiose hotels such as the Gran Manzana hotel with a beautiful shopping-mall housed in its building called “Malecon” which has some very elegant merchandising shops in it. Hotel Parque Central with its multi-basement shopping-mall and many love-lii cafes are to be found here. The impressive Gran Teatro de La Habana-“Alicia Alonso” stand here most majestical-lii and just down the same road is the new-lii renovated “El Capitolio” the national government official offices. We came here every day to experience Cuba and the Cuban people in its finest for in one of the side roads was the big Habana Club “Casa Del Ron y Tabaco” where we bought our genuine Cuban cigars and walked over to the park and set down on the love-lii cement park-benches and enjoyed smoking them right in the publics-eye. A “Must” visit area of Havana, Cuba……..

Fab place to view the many classic cars, pose for photos and choose which car you want to tour round Havana city. Beautiful hotels & many shops, cafes & rum shop. I came here three times during my stay and never tired of talking to the locals.

El Capitolio,positioned between Habana Vieja and Habana Centro, youll find this beautiful building. Surrounded by other examples of colonial architecture, it is worth a visit. You can get some good photos and memories from Havana.

Great park to relax a bit, the atmosphere is exotic and it is surrounded by many colonial buildings. During the warmest hours come here to sit under beautiful and enormous tree, that provide a nice shade. Lovely park in the center of Havana right near the Capitol!

Great place to get WiFi and look at beautiful cars and buildings

This is a small, beautiful, central point in the old city, just a very short walk from many of the major tourist attractions of historical significance. It is full of symbolism, even including the relaxing palm trees and the statue of Jose Marti, the famous 19th century Cuban poet, philosopher and revolutionary. The square has a pleasant, lively but relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It is surrounded by classic cars that serve as taxis for tourists to explore the city - a unique and charming feature of the city. They are beautifully maintained although I think mostly no longer have the original engines.

Its very nice to walk on the streets of the neighborhoods of Cuba. To feel like a local, to eat, to dance, to listen to their music...To feel their reality.

Amazing central square in the heart of Havana. Splitting Havana Vieja and Havana Centro, this central area is where most of the old cars are located, fancy hotels, bus stops, horse carriage, etc... Easy to find your way from here to go to downtown or to go down the Paseo del Prado.

Great spot to meet locals who spend the say talking about life, boxing and baseball. Right across from the national ballet institute

Nice place. There are a few good bars around and Habana Bus Tour terminus. "Day pass" for the bus is 10 CUC.

This park is a great place to people watch, take pictures of the old cars and meet people.

The park in the city was completed in 1877 with the El Capitolio in the background surrounded by other significant buildings, such as the Gran Teatro de la Habana, the Inglaterra and the beautiful Museo de Bellas Artes. With trees, fountain, sculptures and the monument of Jose Marti in Carrara white marble surrounded by palm trees.

You can take vintage car tours from here. Be sure to bargain - they take u around to key places for an hour making a stop for a mojito and a cigar factory and take photos for you in and outside the car.

Central Park is one of the most lovely parks to do a meet and greet with the cubanos or your travel partners. Its easy to overlook and a lot to see. City tour sightseeing busses have a departure place there. every 30 minutes. And if you are in a romantic mood, you can take a horse carridge for a tour trough town. And for the Classic car lovers. they are there too, with a lot of choice in color, type or a confertable. Just name it, and you got it.

Nice view when you are in this park, you will surrounded by Hotel Parque Central, Hotel Manzana, Hotel Plaza, Hotel Inglatera, Hotel Telegrafo, etc.

Lovely park right in the centre of Havana. Lots of seating and trees. Colourful old American cars all round ready to be hired too.

Please do not miss this! A beautiful park with much to offer. Stop and enjoy talking baseball with the locals. Be prepared! They know their stuff! If you want to watch for classic cars, this is the place!

This most be one of the most amazing places in Havana. There are old and interesting buildings all around you!! You must visit the Alicia Alonso theater anf the Jose Martí Main square. In the central park you may take a bus that for 5cuc that will take you and pick you up to the beaches of Havana del Este!

Absolutely beautiful place to go to. The artwork and detail put into the buildings around here are breathtaking. I was little upset that we were not allowed to go in to the capital but I totally understand because it would most likely be flooded with tourists. Still it was very nice getting to sit on the steps and just take in all of the beauty Havana has to offer

One of the busiest areas of La Habana, there you can feel the pulse and heartbeat of this magnificent city. Beware of sellers, theres always someone offering the possibility for a good deal. Famous, for being just steps away, from one of Hemingways favourite bars - La Floridita.

Beautiful place near some very nice hotels and within walking distance to El Floridata. A lot of taxi drivers and other trying to make money from tourists though. Easy place to pick up the hop on/ hop off tour bus though.

Central Havana is beautiful!! The old buildings makes you feel an interesting feeling of being part of the past.
