Parkway Shopping Centre - Shopping Centre in Peterlee, United Kingdom
A good shopping centre, clean, plenty of businesses, most of the units are used. The centre has a nice feel and seems well run. There is a leisure centre and swimming pool at one end and Tescos at the other. Plenty of eateries and mixture of other stores.
Lots of good shops with good price and friendly helpful staff. Unfortunately my favourite store closing down (Shoe Zonebut still left some really lovely store. The car park is good size and well informal the signs where you find a free parking plots.
Lots of shops, loads of choices to choose from, and from time to time it even gets visited by celebrities. My first time there, I saw Don Estell ( lofty out of , It aint half hot mumRip.
clean spacious indoor shopping, variety of useful shops.. plenty of parking with access to shopping outlets nearby
A visit to Tesco is much the same wherever the store is located. This one is no different.
Lovely centre, good choice of shops and plenty of parking highly recommend bentleys cafe
Havent been for a lot of years was pleasantly surprised seemed to be more shops very good
Local shopping centre has everything you could need from supermarkets, bakers, grocers, chemists, doctors, dentists, post office even swimming baths the only thing it could do with is a bank.
I like the parkway center most of the shops and staff are welcoming and friendly. I spend most of my time drinking coffee and people watching lol.
The shopping centre isnt the biggest Ive been to. But it is really nice. Shops are spot on. Its clean and tidy and all the staff Ive encountered are great people. Parking is good and plenty. Plus B&M is next door and Aldi. So its pretty much got everything you need. I highly recommend
Great selection of shops and a great cafe in the end of the centre
Lovely indoor shopping centre with a Tesco, Fruit, veg and florist stall, Greggs, Couplands, Pep & co, Superdrug, Home bargains and a Burger King to name but a few. There is also a lovely health shop selling vitamins, soaps etc at really good prices. Ideal centre to pass away a couple of hours.
All the shops are fully open good shopping centre loads of carparking big Tescos in there small market stall and a lovely flower stall little dinner in there to
The Parkway has everything you might need, apart from the kitchen sink!
We go here most weeks to do our shopping in Tesco which is a large supermarket! Grateful to have this close by! The parkway itself has a load of shops in it which are very useful including a house blind company we used for our blinds. All the shops here are convenient, place is a decent size with toilets and places to get food too., such as subway etc. Plenty of parking just outside of Tesco... what more would you want?
Good shopping centre with many different shops O.K. to visit when passing.
This visit I only went to Tesco & Costa. But am looking forward to visiting the other shops there.
You can find almost anything to buy from coulby CentreThe only downside is that the centre needs a good local quality butcher ,you cant beat good fresh produce and prices
What a great place to just wander round. Great shopping precinct too. This place had it all!
No seating as they dont want people congtragating post covid (old, pregnant ,disabled or just in need of a rest. 🤷A chair will be provided if you can find someone to ask.(applicable for those who are disabled I know that for sure).Reasonable I guess then, but not defensible in the new normal if ppl are sitting they arent buying...is that the philosophy youve adopted?Hemlington and Coubly Newham dont have anywhere to catch up with old friends.Do a bit of shopping and sit for a chat....unless you pay for a drink you may not want....with cost of living increasing community is more important than ever.Pensioners are entitled to so little and now to catch up with friends Tesco has provided a Costa with Marks and Spencers food. Shame on Tesco and Im disappointed in the management of the centre.Your patrons deserve better.
Good little shopping centre. I come here often for bits and peices
Great service in Tesco mobile, the two gents working sorted out my phone and saved me a few quid
Good shopping could do with some more stores
Looking a bit old and drained. No public toilets in the center so customers have to use tesco toilets. Noticed a lot of shops have shut down lately so quite a few empty spaces. Center is fairly clean and a maintenance crew member is always around. Youre allowed to use a tesco trolley around the center and in the other shops to help aid you if you have loads of bag or are doing a bigger shop. Various places to be able to purchase food (cooplands, subway, burger king, Greggs), a few clothes shops, everyday household shops (poundland, home bargains, boyes). Also have a small post office. No real suitable child parking so i park in the tesco car park as cant get the car seat out otherwise. B&M, aldi (which is now shut until october), pets at home and McDonalds are across the car park.
Still plenty of shops to choose from, a good selection from food outlets, clothing, jewellery etc, plenty of parking spaces.
Its always a pleasure going to the shopping centre, always clean and vibrant, lots of parking and lots of shopping experiences.
Great place for shopping there got all types of shops 👍 😀
Hot and stuffy. Needs better ventilation. Glad to get out of the place.
Friendly place to visit nice and clean lovely atmosphere well done all
Very good shopping experience x There is a big Tesco here and you can use their shopping trolleys to walk around the shop x Its nice and relaxing cause you dont have to carry your bags around the shops x Jacqueline x
Its ok sounds the best, but when you need something later in the evening - no chance, shuts so early like no other shopping centre.
Canny little shopping centre with all local amenities needed for a quick shop - theres a fab little charity shop and a big pep and co store which we dont have where Im from
Nice and easy setting , shops are all well presented no kids causing trouble.
Very poor disabled parking. The parking is on a slope its ok going down hill to the centre but very very hard work pushing a wheelchair up a slope to the car.
Nice shopping centre plenty of different outlets from food to charity shops beauty parlour cafe and leisure centre.
I have given this centre a two star rating because of the lack of public toilets. The only loos are in Tesco and they are doing a magnificent job carrying the whole centre xx l like the range of shops but could do with a more intimate coffee shop x There are plenty of buses to and from which is great xx
Only go there for a certain type of bread that Tesco provide . As a shopping mall l think that it is first class . Everything under one roof . Cash points, toilets hardware and ready food outlets. I love it !!
Some good shops here, I go quite often.
Good shopping centre with a large Tesco store and a fairly decent selection of shops plus the usual charity shops. Plenty of parking but the parking spaces are rather tight if you drive anything larger than a bubble car.
Food is lovely, typical lunch and breakfast thingsStaff are really helpful, had never been before but they were more than accomodating. Very good value too.
Lovely airy place with all you need and a lovely cafe sitting under glass roof.Always someone about to offer help and keep an eye on things. All shops well kept.Enjoyable visits xx
Only public toilets are in Tesco, but still a good place to shop and or have a snack. B and M and Aldi in walking distance. Dont look for haute couture, though Peacocks has reopened, Tesco sells clothes upstairs for basics. Or find a bargain in the charity shops.
What a lovely little shopping centre. Packed with a good variety of different shops and the stalls dotted through the centre have some amazing gems 💎 to offer. All in all a great place to visit for a bit of retail therapy.
Showing its age and rather a lot of vacant units. Would benefit from updating. Car parking is good though and close proximity of Tesco superstore is a bonus.
I arrived just gone 9am for obervious reasons on this cold, windy and wet day if was very quite. I had a great Coffee in Cost Coffee. It is situated on the mezzanine floor of Tesco Extra. At the far side next to the Mens clothing. A very friendly and helpful staff. I then did a quick shop in Tesco to tide me over until I receive my online order on Monday. They also have friendly and helpful staff.
Went here to pick up a x box controller, great choice ti choose from, as we were upstairs we where next to the baby clothes, lots of choice and there was 2 of most of then in the same size ... great for me as a gran to twins, lots of choices as we went past the chocolates in the Christmas aisle I spent a fortune. Lovely staff couldnt do enough for you, lovely store, well worth a visit.
Today was my first ever visit to the Shopping Centre. They have a wide selection of shops from Tesco Extra, Iceland, Home Bargains, Boyes. An excellent Health Food Shop with helpful and knowledgeable STAFF and more shops in the Centre. With B, & Ms and Aldi Supermarket close by. I will definitely being going back to the Centre once Ive moved to Hemlington.
Great shops and lots of free parking but spaces are quite tight. Difficult visiting with kids if someone decides to park next to you. Cars need to be made smaller as time goes in or parking spaces need to increase in size although I think in reality these are the other way around.
Easy parking and a clean premises also low cost fuel at Tesco’s fuel station.
Had my phone battery fixed off Adil he is very professional and a lovely man my phone has been fine since , I always use the phone stand he is very reasonable in price nice friendly man x
