Parkview Hotel in Gunnedah

After a long drive we stopped by and to our luck the atmosphere, patrons and staff were fantastic. The food was brilliant and just perfect sized servings. Left me very full and contented with out that feeling of overeating

After waiting 45 mins for our food which the kids didn’t get their activities pack, drink or ice cream to make the wait worth while. The “generous” portion is anything but.Five chips,A handful of plain boiled veg and a kids size piece of steak. Should have just gone to kfc or any other place in town. The waitresses said I have no clue what the meat is and walked off.Disappointing is an understatement.When asking the staff to refund my meal, as the meat was tough and inedible I was abused by staff that I’m to dumb to not know where the kids drinks are and I’m expecting to much from a country pub. Every other pub I’ve ever been to has always been amazing, which is why we choose to eat there and support locals over takeaway establishments

Nice quiet pub. Beer was cold but really should have some more variety both on tap and in the fridge.

Work Xmas Party dinner was amazingly cooked in the Smoker BBQ, thankyou Guys.We were so well looked after by Owners and staff. Highly recommend.

Im in town for business and thought Id try a local pub last night for dinner. The staff were friendly, but the steak and veg were bland. As in, straight from the nursing home kitchen, bland. I couldnt locate salt and pepper on the tables or counters. Im not sure it could have improved the food a great deal. For $28 it was very disappointing.

A lovely place to grab a drink or a meal. Friendly wonderful staff, delicious food and great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Great place to eat and drink.Got in late while traveling but still served us diner.And, I left a set of keys on the table which they happily handed back the next day.Thanks John and staff.

Although we hadnt been there for months, the chef remembered our favourite dishes. The meal was delicious and well presented, and the log fireplace in the middle of the room was great! I had forgotten how very pleasant wood fires were!

Im not a local. I have been in this establishment 2 or 3 times for family get togethers and a meal. Wholesome food fast service and reasonable prices. Has a public bar, betting bar and dining room. Apparently it is a family owned business, operated by dedicated staff. Enjoy your stay.

Meals here are great although the specials can be a little bit small. I would eat here again . The staff are friendly and accommodating for our kids and they always make us feel welcome.

Best cold beer in town.

I really like this pub it has TAB, Keno, a pool table and a Dart board everything that makes a small town pub good. It has a dinning area with food that I have never been disappointed in. Good place to take the kids for lunch or dinner and it has a good smoking area with fire place that makes you feel like your not being sent outside to smoke.
