Restaurant serving twists on classic American dishes & drinks in a casual, contemporary setting.
Wow, the food was excellent!!! Easy and relaxed atmosphere. ENJOYED so much.
Good was good, seemed to draw a bit of an older crowd. Bar service was decent, menu prices were a tad high for portion sizes compared to similar restaurants in the area.
Love this place! Nice atmosphere and servers! One of the best cheeseburgers Ive ever had! We will definitely go back soon!
Out of town visitors, $8.99 burger on Monday. Absolutely amazing, fast service, we knew what we wanted, ordered quickly and got our food quickly. Cooked perfectly, tasted amazing. Wish we lived closer so we could go again.
My wife and I took one of our daughters out for her 24th birthday, and we really liked this place. Our food was good and so was the service. I especially enjoyed the Blackened Steak Pasta dish I ordered. It was particularly delicious. We will be going out to dinner here again.
Husband and I had lunch on Sun, 10/25/22. Waitress provided excellent service. Our meals of grilled salmon, grilled chicken, and loaded baked potatoes were cooked perfect. We loved bread here and homemade salad dressings.
Great steak and pasta meals. Quick service and friendly staff. Will eat here again.
Amazing food, great service, people were so friendly and caring.
Dropped into this establishment for a quick lunch on a recent trip. Well, that was a remarkably excellent decision!!!!Service was Fantastic, food was Great, and atmosphere was Lovely!I opted for the salad to keep things on the lighter side, and it was one of the best salads Ive ever had at a restaurant!Check out Parkside Grill, you wont be disappointed!
Great relaxing atmosphere, service great food was wonderful. Cant say enough good things about this restaurant!!
It was a beautiful evening to sit and enjoy the patio seating, our waitress was fantastic, good was delicious. It was a wonderful experience and I cant wait to go back
Well above average American style restaurant. The pork chops are excellent and the blue cheese burger is great too. The onion rings are the right move too. Great place for a a date or working lunch.
Second time I row.... Delicious 😋 and fresh... Ray is the best.... Good luck with your school... I asked him to make my baby girls dream come through to have well done burger without pink colour 😊😊....he kept his promise and my baby girl told him....You are a man of your word
Driving down 40 from Nashville we searched Google for places to eat on the way. Glad we chose to eat at Parkside Grill on the way! The bread plate was tasty, shine drinks just as good - but the dinners were even better! Chicken pot pie, meatloaf steak, and kickin chicken were all great hits. Awesome wait staff also.
This has become one of our favorite restaurants. We went to for an early dinner and the service was great. We ordered quickly and got our food in a timely manner. The bread is delicious as well.
Excellent, fast service. Everyone had great food, from the 10 oz. Sirloin, to the cheeseburger, to my meatloaf. Terrific bread too!
Great service, excellent food. Menu is robust, everything from soups & salads to sandwiches and kabobs. I got the Black and Blue salad and really enjoyed it. Others in our group got the club sandwich and loved it.
We come down from KY many times a year to shop & visit family, but somehow weve been missing out on Parkside! First time here EASILY took first place for taste, quality, and service. Salmon was perfection, mashed potatos savory, and hubby raved on black & bleu burger. Were trying to avoid chains and keep our business local wherever we go, so this was A+ all the way around. Our server Amy G was a pleasure! Well see yall next time.
It was our first time eating here today for lunch. We wanted to try something different and are we glad we did. The food was exceptional as was the service (cant remember our waiters name, but he is from Delawareand atmosphere. I had the fish and chips...some of the best fish Ive ever had. Very lightly breaded, not heavy and absolutely delicious. My side Caesar salad was perfect. My husband had the seared Ahi Tuna and it was fantastic as was his house salad. The bread was to die for right down to the butter. The staff were inviting, the restaurant was very clean, and it was an all around great experience. They go above and beyond. So refreshing. We will be back and back!
Excellent restaurant. Awesome service. And the food was unbelievably good. Onion ring appetizer and teriyaki steak.Alicia waited on us and did a wonderful job.
Our dinner was well served and tasted very good
Fresh entrees made from scratch using quality ingredients. Generous portions at reasonable prices. I am a pot pie person and I just enjoyed the best chicken pot pie I have ever had in my entire life. Bar none! My wife had the grilled chicken Waldorf salad. She had both the Apple vinaigrette and Bleu cheese dressings on the side. Both were delicious. For dessert we enjoyed the Kahlúa fudge brownie. OMG! Decadent does not even begin to describe this amazing dessert. Service was top-notch and friendly. If you are ever in Knoxville Tennessee please do yourself a favor and visit the Parkside Grill.
Great service great food!!! The chips that come with the spinach dip are the best tortilla chips I’ve ever had in my life! So crispy and fresh they melt in your mouth! The pop/soda machine needs a possible cleaning or maybe it’s just from a gun? The steak could use a tad more seasoning. The service provided was excellent even though he forgot to take off our $5 coupon. We will definitely visit again when passing through Tennessee!!!
We’re driving through Knoxville with our two young daughters on a 12 hour trip. We stopped in to refuel and get the girls out of the car. I like sitting in a booth because it’s the only way my two year old stays in one spot. Anyway, they told us we couldn’t use a high chair at the booth (for our 7 month oldbecause it was a walkway for the servers. At this time of day there was no one seated around us so although I was slightly annoyed (mainly because we’ve been in the car for what feels like 2 daysI ignored it because I get it. Anyway, the manager came and brought us a high chair and she told the hostess not to sit anyone around our booth. Although I felt like a jerk for saying something to begin with, her customer service was amazing. Also, GREAT FOOD!!!
Wonderful lunch today. Got more food than I could eat. Ask for the lunch menu. They can decrease salt on the plate. Nice to know next time. Shrimp, rice potatoes and sweet potatoes.
First time here and so happy we decided to stop by. Not sure why we took so long! My club salad was incredibly good! The bread was very soft and tasty. Our waiter was great. He was on top of his stuff. Will definitely be back.
First time here and they did not disappoint! My drink was never empty. Food came out quickly and cooked perfectly. Everyone is super friendly. I will be back!
We loved this place! Relaxed, friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. The manager was absolutely wonderful, great customer service. And our waitress was friendly and efficient, she was really great. The food was delicious at a good price. No complaints. So glad our hotel is close. Highly recommend for relaxed, casual dining. Their ribeye was great!
Dont go chain! Recommended by the staff at the hotel. Lovely place, relaxing atmosphere, great wait staff and oh my goodness EXCELLENT FOOD!!! My hamburger was huge, juicy and delish! Ive eaten all over the world and this place is now at the top of the list. They even had my favorite drink!! Reasonable prices too
Great food. Great family atmosphere. Came with the entries gang from Miami, FL and ate some delicious food. The hubs and I shared the salmon tacos - yes, there are two full size tacos so we shared. The taco was packed with salmon and cooked to perfection. Some other meals included, turkey burger, chicken fingers, and the triple stack meatloaf. I tasted that and so tender and tasty! Our server Sydney was awesome! She accommodated us and gave great suggestions. Thanks for being so helpful with the recommendations. We topped off dinner with a key lime pie and homemade strawberry cake made locally but one of the employee’s grandma. The key lime pie is very good, even comparing it with what we know is a true key lime pie. The strawberry cake is definitely something to order if you are here.
This place is not to be confused with Park Grill in Gatlinburg. I love the design of the place. They have tables, as well as booths. Theres a huge fireplace also, when you first walk in, which Im sure they only use when its colder outside. The music was a little too loud and wasnt exactly my taste, but it was tolerable. We started with the fried pickles that came with a side of ranch, and they were pretty good. My mom ordered the sirloin with a baked potato and green beans. She said everything tasted great, but the sirloin was a little overcooked and I thought it was kind of tough. She had asked for medium well, but it was definitely well done. I ordered the chicken pasta with spinach and sun dried tomatoes. It also comes with mushrooms, but I told them to leave them off. It tasted all right, but I expected a little more for the price. The service was good, but I doubt well go back.
If you havent been to Parkside grill on Sunday for, the "Sunday" specials. Let me, tell you, youre missing out! The POT ROAST is to die for, not to mention the brownie desert is 100% legit! The bar area has TVs wirh sports playing on them. Cool place, wonderful vibe. I also have not had one bad meal here, either! Cheers! Keep it up Parkside!
The food was better than good. Flavors were varied and quite delicious. Some of what I had was excellent, quite top notch. I loved the atmosphere. The service was excellent.I am sorry but this is what gave them 4 stars instead of 5. These are slight problems but significant to put them at 4.5 in my book. The positive! The married flavors well and seem to want a customer to really to feel appreciated. The Dishes, A grilled trout, excellent! A Ahi Tuna stack, excellent. Cream of mushrooms soup, Very good but a touch too much salt.( just my opinion). Green beans, good flavor. The beans need to snap I think. Maybe try an ice bath when they come out of pan & sauce added after ice bath & Maybe a little sea salt. Bread excellent, no complaints I would eat everyday. The butter was way too salty for my taste.I liked this place. I would continue to go there. It is worth money and time. Maybe next time, I would give them 5 stars.
We loved the smoked pimento cheese! My husband had the best shrimp ever! This chicken pot pie below was soooo good! Yummy strawberry cake for dessert ❤️ We will definitely be back.
I have been there twice and once there was a hair in my bfs salad and the next time there was a piece of paper in my niece salad. My bf and I left the 1st time but my neice and I stayed and both our other food was great. Try the salmon and the sweet potatoes with candied pecans.
Wonderful service and the chicken pot pie is the best I ever had! I should have taken a pic of the dish before I dug in, but this is the first time Ive ever taken a picture of food, so I hope that says alot. If youre in the area, definitely give these fine folks a try. You wont leave hungry! My second visit here was easily as good as my first trip. Service is outstanding and the seared Ahi was wonderful@
Parkside grill. Being a frequent visitor to Knoxville, Im always looking for exciting or interesting new places to eat, This week, I happened to find the Parkside grill on the westside. Parkside grill is really cool. Its the kind of a restaurant that will fit many occasions - it has a nice interior decor and the food has enough variety to cover a casual meal to a special occasion. I like to ask the waitress for recommendations and she I suggested the chicken pot pie. I kind of thought, really??? but I went with her suggestion, and Ill tell you, it was the best chicken pot pie Ive ever had. The bread is really good. the service was phenomenal. This definitely gets five stars in my book, I definitely Ill have to stop back there when Im in Knoxville next time, It is definitely worthwhile.
This was an absolutely beautiful day to sit on the patio. Our first visit to Parkside. We ordered the artichoke dip, would replace the Peta chips with the house beard. We had the salmon salad and the fantastic chicken pot pie. Correct it was a little warm out to have the pie. But my friend said it was a must. Service was not that of Connors, but good. We will forsure to go back. Wine list needs a little help but the margarita was perfect. 🥰
Food was good and service was terrific. Well priced too. Salmon was great. Mashed potatoes were a little dry for my liking. Would suggest a side of sour cream with them. Girlfriend got a salad which was massive, and she loved it.
2nd time here. Got the meatloaf like last time. Sadly the food wasnt as warm today, curious if their warmer was broken when waiting to complete the ticket. Here was a picture from the first time we were here. Meatloaf was delicious and loved the grill marks. Made the meatloaf even better!
This is a fancy restaurant on a budget. The vibe is homey with great music and friendly staff. The food is great quality with fresh ingredients, no dried spices were used in the pasta dishes we ordered. The beer and wine were fantastic especially for the price. Will definitely be back.
Always amazing service and great food..Pork chops fries and if you get a chance to try the pecan crusted mashed sweet potatoes DO IT.
Staying up the street so we decided to give this place a try. Staff is nice, got here right opening bread was good and hot, the hummus was good and the pita chips were hot. They have 3$ mimosas and bloody marrys. Food was fine my past was not spicy at all :-(
Great clean, quiet, country feel. Friendly staff excellent service! The entire meal was amazing. Fully stocked bar great strawberry cake. I really enjoyed our date night here! Included awesome music, low lighting and beautiful stone work and fireplace!! We will visit again! 💜
Excellent service. Food was delicious . However even though my Bloody Mary tasted great , the presentation was not the best , hope next time the bartender gets inspired and adds at least one olive or a piece of celery . Thank you !
The Parkside Grill seemed like a run-of-the-mill restaurant, with your standard fare. However, upon entering, I was immediately impressed with the staff. They were friendly and attentive, engaging and considerate. This should be the standard when dining out, though it is more and more not. Pleased at the service so far, I was honestly resigned to that aforementioned fare, but it was anything but!I dont know if it was the weather or what, but I feel like if it was a little warmer it would have been perfect, but as it stood, the pimento cheese, with carmelized red onion jam and toast points (toast tips?was a delicious appetizer! Next, was my main course of Grilled Cilantro-Lime Chicken with shitake mushroom rice pilaf and steamed broccoli. As you can see from the picture, it was beautifully prepared and it was perfection. I have never in my life eaten a piece of chicken so expertly prepared on the grill. It was flavorful and juicy, and came to the table very quickly. The rice pilaf was amazing as well... if youve ever had rice pilaf that is partially cooked, then you know how annoying those crunchy bits are when youre eating them. The broccoli was also great! Seasoned well and not overcooked, it went well with everything. The reason I am giving five stars is for the chicken breast alone. I wish I could give 5 stars for the two sides AND another 5 for the service. The only thing I saw that needed improving was the fish tacos my girlfriend ordered. They tasted good, but the combo of slaw and pico de gallo made them too wet, hence very messy. My girlfriend ended up just eating the innards of the 2nd taco with a fork. With some tweaking to the slaw, perhaps doubling up and grilling fresh tortillas shells, and some work on the fish, I think this would be just as amazing as everything else!Keep it up folks, youre doing things very well!
This is an excellent place to grab lunch or dinner. We were promptly seated and waited on by a friendly an accurate waiter who took great care of us. The food was prepared exactly as we ordered it and delivered with a short wait. The ambiance is warm and inviting due in large part to an amazing see through fire place made of stacked stone in the center of the room.
Food was pretty good. Service very poor. Kitchen was very slow. Each of us had to have food remade. They like the green beans very crisp, but mine were almost raw. The redo was a dish that looked liked it had been microwaved for way too long. Meatloaf was very tasty. My bread plate was dirty, should have taken a photo. Our server disappeared for long periods of time. Sounded like wait staff was having a party in prep area.
The chicken bowtie pasta was delicious. The service was good. It wasnt very busy for being a Sunday night at dinner time which is concerning. They bring warm fresh bread for the table which was great. My man ordered the chicken with gravy and mash potatoes. He said his was really good too.
Parkside Grill offered the choice of Sunday Brunch Buffet or menu. Both seemed to have a variety of options to please our family. The service was excellent and attentive. Our food was served steaming hot and there was not a single complaint! If the bathroom facilities had been more recently checked this would have been a 5 star rating!
