This park offers forested trails, seasonal tours of its old grist mill & a museum in a cider mill.
Beautiful park with great views and activities to participate in. I just learned about it today when we were there with high school students for a field trip.
A nice place to take walks or bike ride with a historical place on one side of the river and a nature preserve on the other.
Im eighty and l take my bike rides at mill county park . My experience is excellent.
Nice little spot to start or end a long hike/bike trail. Has nice picnic table that are along the creek view
My favorite trail so far. Very secluded, natural and right by the water. Perfect place to clear your head and journal. I had most of the trail to myself.
One of many excellent county parks in the Ann Arbor area. This park has a restored grain mill and good paved walking trails.
Nicely labeled trails, shaded areas, clean bathroom near parking lot. Nice area to get by the river to dip your feet in.
Nice place to go for a walk in nature. They have some activities set up for the kids. The bathroom could use some work though. But overall a nice place to go.
Great area for walking and biking
Nice park with paved and wooded trails. Access to border to border trail to botanical garden and going the other way to Gallup Park. Dirt parking lot, some potholes.
Cool trails for walking and riding a bike with plenty of coverage from trees.
Love the walking trails !! Beautiful park !!
Wooden trail is charming!
I love this park. The boardwalk trail is amazing
I love this park but Im so sad that properties are being developed all around it. Its kind of taken away from the woodsy nature feel and makes me feel like Im in the middle of the city.
Great, easy to navigate, quiet walk in the woods. There is so much life here and interesting sights to see all year round.
The best part of this park is the boardwalk. Its surprisingly long and has a lot of nature along the way without roads nearby.
Love to walk the beautiful trails here with my son
Peaceful scenic winter walk. Loved the beautiful creek flowing in contrast to the snow. I was able to hike comfortably in snow..except a few places where it was slippery. If you go early morning, you can find a deer, birds and other wildlife! It was quite fun to guess animals from their footprints in snow! The walk only trail is boarded so quite easy to walk in snow.
Beautiful little scenic area to walk and enjoy the water. Theres also a pretty extensive trail system to walk!
Nice little park you can take the boardwalk down and it ends at at some benches where you sit down and watch and listen to the river. Relaxing and easy walk just to get some sunshine
Interesting place, and they did improve the paved trail that connects to the Border to Border trail. Bathrooms reasonably clean & useable. Good place to start your bike ride into Ann Arbor or on the relatively new paved path that connects to the Botanical Gardens. But the parking lot is ATROCIOUS and should be condemned. Its unpaved, but the worst part is it is FULL of giant potholes that you cant completely drive around. Small & lower cars beware!
Historic mill ground grains with water power is now open only for special events. Cider mill restored, but not open. Log cabin with loft and raised wood floor shows how families lived back in time. Interesting place to visit by car or trail from Gallup Park. Trail now extended to U of M Botanical Gardens.
Another wonderful park in Ann Arbor. I particularly love the historical buildings, walking along the river with the relaxing sounds of the water rolling over rocks. Recently they added a childrens water play feature that is just fabulous.
This is a great place for hiking and picnicking. Its not get far from local neighborhoods and the freeway so its easy to get to.
One of my favorite parks in A2! Great place for hiking!
When it’s not too busy, it’s a lovely, peaceful walk. Lots of loops and lookout spots to keep longer strolls interesting, and most of the park is insulated from the street noise enough to feel like you’re further out of town than you really are.
I love the walking trails along the river, and the historic mill is great to see as well.
Very nice park, mix of new neighborhood and old Town with it River and train tracks and bridges and waterfalls. Great for a short walk or a long bike ride
Very nice park! Well maintained.
No large open spaces, but a pretty walking path by the brook and some historic buildings. Make sure to check out the boardwalk a quarter mile down the main trail on the left!
I really enjoyed walking around this park and checking out the old buildings, and the beautiful river. There are trails through the woods that make you forget youre not too far from civilization, if you ignore the road noise. Great place for a peaceful stroll anytime of year! There is a paved trail that begins up the road from this park that leads to the Matthai botanical gardens, about a 2 mile path.
It was very relaxing to view many beautiful, natural spaces and wildlife such as fish frogs, dragonflies, flowers and even a rabbit. The park had many visitors in the beginning of the trail area but it was still possible to keep safe and socially distanced from others.
Wonderful hidden gem and historic site with amazing nature tails.
This was a lovely walk for my husband and I! We brought along our mini dachshund who enjoyed the walk as well! lots of smells and friendly people who are all being very socially conscious! It was a lovely experience and I took note of the childrens area by the creek for when my step son comes to visit. Will definitely be visiting again, even if its a bit of a drive for us.
This is a very nice little park with some cool old buildings on the premises. It’s a good place to go for a walk with a pet or just by yourself. It’s very well-maintained and very clean. It usually doesn’t get too busy either. I think you’ll like it if you go for a walk here.
I have been to Parker Mill Park before, but there were a few cool trails I missed and I love it now. Will definitely be going there more often.
Awesome...close to St. Joes Hospital so if you have to wait for multiple hrs why not squeeze in a walk and get something put of your day. Not a difficult walk with only slight grades here and there. Puts you right into the lap of nature. Great place to clear your mind and just breathe a little.
What a beautiful park, with a lot of trails to explore, they have short loop trails or longer trails that connect to the neighboring parks. The trees here seem to be alive, like they are watching you, you will know these trees when you see them! Cant wait to return when the weather is not so groggy. Enjoy 🙂
This Park is a lovely gem. The park features historic buildings, boardwalks, overlooks, and groomed trails for hikers and cyclists. The trails take the wanderer along the creek and to a scenic view of a bend in the Huron River. There is an underpass of a rail line for the train lover. Signage is scattered about offering explanations as to the history and science of the area. There are gloriously huge oak trees, babbling waters, and sweet scents to appreciate on your way along the paths. I plan to visit often to appreciate the seasons and respite of this little jewel. If I were a teacher, I would plan a field trip and take advantage of the pavilion for the class to have a memorable learning opportunity.
Great park to walk. Theres a bike/jogging path too. It surrounds an 1800s era cider and grist mill which is also part of the park.Quite a history to this place and there are signs telling it all along the way.
Pleasant day to walk around. I was impressed with the elevated wooded walkway. Enjoyed ready all of the different informative signs along the hike. Well done. Bathroom was clean too.
Its a great little hike, you can make it super long and connect to Gallup Park. Careful on the boardwalks. If wet, they are very slippery.
Great little escape from the city right in the city. Tons of wildlife to watch. Can be a little dirty.
Great park! The trails are nice, and scenic, plus the cider Mill is open on Sundays. Also in the summer, people will fly fish on the shallow portion of Huron river at the end of the trail. Plus if you walk down the cement path, it leads to the aquaduct sluice.. pretty educational for the kids, and cool to see!
Great park for a stroller/toddler walk. Nice layout with a stream all around. Good for all seasons. A new water play pump was installed a little bit down the mill house so its great for entertaining kids and grown-ups.
This park is amazing! It has different types of trails which are all easy to navigate and all have beautiful views. I have taken my kids to many nature trails in the area and this is by far our favorite.
This is where I had my wedding almost 5 years ago! I love this park! Its beautiful, it has tons of trails, and it is a wonderful place to just relax while enjoying the scenery!
Fun trail. Good spots to sit, also saw multiple deer 3 different times now. Pretty cool!
This is a BEAUTIFUL place to walk. The trails are well kept. There is a great boardwalk trail that winds along Fleming creek. It is really awesome. I would give the park a 5 except for the fact that dogs cannot go on some of the coolest trails.
