ParkView Inn & Conference Center in Allentown

I had very low expectations for this hotel and, unfortunately, it still managed to disappoint. This was by far the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Walked into the room and there was literal trash on the bed and the floor. It smelled like cigarettes and wet dog in the room. These rooms need a good deep cleaning and the housekeepers need retrained. Everything was filthy, even the remote for the TV was disgusting. There were bugs flying around in the bathroom, no idea what they were or where they came from. When you sat on the toilet it literally moved and clanked against the tile. I typically do not leave bad reviews but if this can save one person from the nightmare of spending a night here then it will be worth it. The management and owners should be horrified that they are allowing this and I hope someday it changes. But please, if you come across this hotel, keep scrolling and stay anywhere else!

Stay away. At check in the front desk girl was either high or drunk. There were crumbs and chips in the dresser. The bed sheets were gross. The so called pool had no water in it and my daughter and I both saw roaches in the room. When I confronted the front desk at check out they did nothing. Just said have a nice day. I called after I got home to talk with manager she was so rude and wouldnt do anything. I never got an apology or what can I do to make this better. Nope she told me to leave bad reviews and said I get what I pay for. When i asked for the owners information like an email she hung up on me. I tried to call back and she answered and hung up twice. Never in my life have I been treated so terribly.

Well, not only was one of rooms filthy, they both stunk like non other. I didn’t even want to look at the breakfast. We didn’t want to be in the rooms longer than we had to be. My remote didn’t even work. Shower was gross, toilet gross, didn’t want to walk barefoot. I was glad to leave in morning. We got a candle for one room. When I woke up I opened the door. I say it’s mostly for truckers. If your looking for somewhere cheap book here. Oh by the way glad I had my own towel, there’s was disgusting.

It was awful. Our toilet didnt flush properly. The carpet was stained and needed vacuuming around the edges. The complimentary breakfast was all carbs. There was dust and cobwebs on the light fixtures. We couldnt get more towels until housekeeping came in at 9 am. Needs seriously to be upgraded. The shower faucets leaked when turned on.

pictures were deceiving it is not nice at all. More of a motel than in. The rooms are all separate buildings got two rooms for family of 5 both were dirty one was room 108 (decent had a weird smell, carpets were stained all over, bathroom was dirty and stained110 was the worst (stained carpet, dirty mini fridge, the room supposedly smoke free reaked your of smoke we tried spraying it down with lysol but the smell was still so strong, bathroom dirty as well, opened the drawers which had wrappers in it, a dog toy at the bottom edge of the bed along with white stainswe hoped maybe the breakfast would be decent but it was just toast and butter don’t waste your money on this

It was the worst stay ever!! The receptionist was very rude. The rooms were dirty. Rug not vacuumed, stains on the bathtub, sheets had holes. My bathtub got clogged and they wanted me to plunge it because the maintenance man was not available. Mind you it was 10:30 AM. The beds were tiny even for me a 120 pound woman. No microwaves and the parking lot was filled with potholes. The front person was smoking weed. When I complained about the tub the front just hung up on me. They also charge a $75 inclusion fee that was a surprise. They would not clean the room because of Covid-19? They stated that they will clean rooms when you leave not while your stay. Never staying here!! Everyone please be warned and look the other way.

Our family thought the place was ok at first, we needed a place to stay after loosing our home, had to clean the room, carpets were dirty, very noisy lucky if we got some sleep when we did it was combat sleep. Our room was broken into Called the police no signs of forced entry they speculated it was someone on the cleaning staff. A 1700.00 laptop and a 300.00 pair of Apple ear buds Pros which was stolen also. After that my family did not feel safe anymore. I will never stay at this hotel again I am at another hotel and the service is a whole lot better and very quiet and the place we are at does not charge for pets and other stupid fees.

Mattresses excellent. Good pool was well keptHot showers. Never a problem with toilet paper or towels, pillowsetc. Rooms clean. I think my wife booked thru a 3rd party and check in staff were standoffs about that but after her raising hell over my phone, they finally broke and gave us a room as we requested to accommodate all 3 of us. The worst thing was that the door wouldnt lock in our room when I noticed it. I put in a maintenance request at 9 am at the free desk but no one ever came. The room phone also disconnected

Had a room for two days while the contractors were at the house. Definitely an old place and they do the best with what they got. But again its an old place.Staff is great, pool is good. Restaurant is closed but theres a guy who comes in to cook stuff at 4:30 pm from a short list that you can take back to your room. HUGE complex. Unfortunately with the cheap price, well you know.Ill be back.

Awful, smelly, rug. Ripped. Can see outside the door. Dirty, yellow tub yellow sink, no gym smell. Weed and alcohol. Near room no decent breakfast nothing what so ever. Do not recommend to nobody. It is a run down hotel. Do not let the pictures fool you.

The only good thing in the hotel is the beautiful clerk at the front desk. That works at night and the air condition. The rooms need to be upgraded and the tub was clogged. The mattress was comfortable. The chef works when he wants to work and the that runs the bar. Like they say you get what you pay for.

Booked online. My husband checked Google (reviews & satellite viewbut I guess he missed ACTUALLY READING the reviews. We booked through Hotels.com without ins since I booked the same day. Big mistake!!We get there and its BIG! Many empty buildings and we thought wed surely die! Lol. Anyway we found out people live there. Like a lot of people. Which is fine but it had a bad vibe. We didnt stay and lost our nonrefundable booking fee. The person at the front desk was very nice and immediately refunded our $75 deposit. Hopefully we get it back soon.I certainly would not reccomend this hotel!

The only good thing about this place is it was a place to stay that didnt break the bank and the pool was large and decent.. Our smoke free room reaked of smoke. The room was old and dirty, not that it wasnt cleaned, just many stains on the rug, tiles grimy in the grout, the door to the bathroom had been chilled off so it could still close. The card reader on the door didnt work well, 4 different people couldnt get the cards to work, went and got new ones and they rarely worked, we didnt shut the door while clearing out in fear we wouldnt get it open again.Our familys experience that stayed in another room was worse. The first room smelled of mustiness and the AC didnt work. The next room they put them in, the furniture was piled on unmade beds, finally the third room they could actually stay in.

I was staying there last night and when I checked in they told me the wrong room then when I finally got to the right room the room floor was dirty the bed had burn marks on it. I tried calling the office. I had the have myself and my kids and husband sleep in one bed. I went to give my kids baby a bath and the shower had soap clumps on the bottom of the tub. I will never stay there again. Called the manager and got told that there is nothing they can do. Mind you I check in at 230 and had to check out by 12. That honestly is not how you manage a hotel. Very very disappointed.

This was the filthiest and most unsanitary hotel I have ever been to. It is clear they wash nothing and dont maintain their rooms. The staff is inexperienced. We were told to walk around the entire hotel in the middle of a rainy night to reach our rooms. We then discovered for ourselves that there was a short corridor connecting the lobby to our room. When we finally got to the room, the key card we were given didnt work. It took several attempts and pure luck for the door to open. Once inside, the floor was sticky, the bathrooms were dirty, the lights didnt work, and nothing looked taken care of. Our expectations were low for a hotel of this price but yikes. Do not come here. Its not worth however much youre saving.
