No. 317, Section 1, Fuxing S Rd, Da’an District, Taipei City, Taiwan 106, Taipei
Set in a high-rise building in the Central Business District, this modern hotel is a minute's walk from the Daan subway station, 2 km from the Taipei 101 skyscraper and 5 km from the Ximending shopping district.Streamlined rooms feature free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs, along with minibars and desks; some have balconies. Suites add separate living rooms and minibars.Parking is free. There's an airy restaurant offering breakfast and lunch. Other amenities include a fitness room and a garden.
It is a prime location.Ask for a view to see Taipei 101 out of your window.Clean, stocked and relatively quiet.English/中文
I would’ve given a ZERO star if that option was available. Worst service and took advantage of customer upon late night check-in by selling higher price room while they have the average ones I usually stayed with. And their response afterwards made me feel like it was just my bad luck that I had to pay extra!Worst service and badly trained staffs. Good luck with the business during covid!
The place is quite small, but i like the bathroom, they have bathup and shower sparetely... its a good place to staycation in Chinese new year just escape from.the work for a night ...
The best value for this hotel is the location. Price is cheaper than most of the similar hotel, so I tend to be less critical. 02 line has direct taipei 101 view. Room is large and recently updated. However, the decor is not that great. And I feel it missing a long bench. Room feels unfinished. It’s a good place that if you need parking and just want a centrally located place.
Terrible experience with the customer service , they have no right to tell me what I can or cannot do with my booking. There are so many other hotels in Taipei even much better than this! I don’t know why they’re so “ strict “ I wouldn’t even give it one star if there’s a zero star option
If youre looking for the tissue, its under the drawer of the bedside table!Very comfortable room and bed.Staff are extremely friendly, from first contact with the attendant entering the garage up until checkout!Double check if advertised fees are all inclusive or if tax and service charges are additional!
Too expansive for such a small place and class. No hot spring.Temporarily no in-hotel dinning.Nice location which is near the MRT, near an area dense with restaurants and snacks.
Location, location, location! Staff pleasant and very helpful. The queen bedroom that I had was very comfortable, immaculately clean, modern amenities. I understand the breakfasts are amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here in the future. San Antonio, TX
There are several things why I would rate this hotel a 2 star. For starters, the pictures are a little outdated. So dont think that you are coming to a fancy newish looking hotel room. Not sure why hotels mislead customers into providing outdated pictures. The balconies are not accessible as the door handle on the balcony door is missing/ removed this could be to avoid liabilities. The decor is outdated, the bed is not comfortable at all so if youre looking for a just somewhere to sleep it does the job but no comfort. Linen is okay not the best quality. Shower outdated and showing its age. The cleanliness of the hotel I would say is okay could be better. Where the hotel does shine is its customer service staff is friendly when you come into the hotel or leave. The concierge was very helpful and one of the gentlemen taller one was very fluent in English and knowledgeable. The location of the hotel is prime and gives you access to the Daan Station exit 6 is right in front of the hotel! You are a 30-minute walk from Taipei 101 however you can take the metro saves you a walk. If you are coming from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport it takes roughly 1 hour 45 minutes by metro. The hotel was great making arrangements for having a taxi ready on our departure day. We checked out and the hotel allows you to hold your luggage while you have a few hours to spare if your flight leaves in the evening. The hotel always has taxis available at the front.
This is such an exceptional and extremely safe place to stay, (now our second, Nov 2018, Nov 2019)The staff are very professional, always helpful and welcoming. Restaurant menu has great choices. Our room once again kept to a high standard and well maintained. You cannot fault transport when the station is at your front door. Restaurants & shopping areas all within walking distance. Thank you Park Taipei for yet another great experience.Denise Abraham: New Zealand
I have been staying at Park Taipei since I discovered the hotel sometime in 2018. I travelled to Taiwan quite often and it is a good place to base myself. It is near to many eateries, a whisky bar and various shops. The linkway to the metro is right outside the hotel too. Rooms are comfortable and service is excellent. Highly recommended!
Daan train station is literally right outside the hotel. Very convenient to take the red line to many popular attractions such as Taipei 101, Elephant Mountain, CKS Memorial, Shilin, Beitou, Tamsui, etc.
Our flight landed at 5a and we arrived at the hotel at 7a to drop off luggage. We figured we would have to wait until 3p to get our room, but were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded and the room was ready for us at 9a! The staff throughout the hotel have gone above and beyond throughout our two night stay and we wouldnt hesitate to come back.
Taipei 101 view room recommended.Best toilet ever: bidet with perfect aim, heater, drying fan etc...addicted!Great Breakfast with wonderful staff...front desk and bellmen were also awesome!Excellent location with Da’an MRT exit 6 at the hotel front door!Highly recommend
A great location just outside subway exit with access to two lines. The rooms were a little dated but it’s a good value and tofu breakfast down the street ensures you will start the day right every day you are here.
upgraded to a room with the view of taipei 101. room is huge! not only the room, the bathroom is huge too! with a tub and a shower stall separate. also the aircon and wifi are fantastic. bed is super comfy and the sofa too. would be nice to have a small coffee table. TV is easy to use and all the necessary items are nicely placed and easy to find. there is an umbrella in the room, which came in handy. staff are very friendly, especially at the front desk, concierge and the restaurant on the 1st floor. one bad thing, cant open the window to step on the small balcony.another good thing is daan mrt exit 6 is right in front of the lobby main entrance. also taxi and bus stops are in front of the main entrance. restaurants are everywhere. family mart is just 2 mins away from exiting the lobby main entrance, also a few more family mart and 7-11 are located nearby.
Friendly staff. Great service. Fast response to requests. Good English. Clean. Beddings are really changed daily. Big rooms. Good view of Taipei 101. Access to MRT station right in front. Restaurants and convenience stores just a few steps away.
Centrally located, right in front of Da’an MRT. Stayed here for a whole week and a half - very clean and comfortable, staff is friendly and attentive, and what a value for all the main amenities of a larger hotel (yes... the W and Hyatt are super lux, but this is like 30-40% of the price).
Its not big hotel but with very good feeling with every staff and facilities. The podium at the business center is a secret little garden that you can enjoy for a whole afternoon with free coffee, tea and snacks. They even open the business center in midnight as I dont want to disturb my family members in sleeping to make international call. How nice.
If you plan on exploring Taipei, this is a good place to shack up.Easy access to Subway (its right outside, and youre on the track that directly connects to Taipei Main Station).Easy access to the Bus.A few stops away from Taipei Zoo.We booked a package without breakfast, because Taipeis full of options. Check out Yong He Soy Milk King for breakfast, a 15 minute walk away. The Tonghua Street Food Market is one subway stop away.Great hotel in a good location.
Hotel is just outside MRT exit. Quiet place, quiet room with good view, yet just a few stations away from busy districts. Service fast and eager. Room clean, with full set of furniture and facilities. you would expect for any proper hotel; indoor air fresh. Price reasonable
My partner is from Taipei, but books this hotel as her "home" every time she visits. This time we came with my Canadian parents. This hotel is great! Problems with flights and late arrivals? -- theyll work with you. Only speak English or Cantonese, or Japanese? -- they have that covered. Rooms are small but totally adequate for business or travelling visitors. The breakfasts are really good and have a nice selection for both the western and Asian traveller. Overall though it is the service that counts at a hotel -- and the people at the desk, and concierge, and even the restaurant staff -- this hotel has mastered the art of traveller service. The convenient location on both the "red line" and "brown line" at Daan Station makes getting around to all the sights and most business locations no problem, and there are always cabs on the road if you want to go anywhere else. Its a great hotel in the heart of Taipei, and especially good for us foreigners. I highly recommend this as a tourist and business location.
Left my AirPod on the bed after checked out. When I called them on the phone, They said they will look for it, and after 5 seconds later they explained there is no airpod in the room I stayed. How could they look for AirPod in that room in 5 seconds? Very poor customer service and lack for hospitality as a hotel. I will recommend this hotel to no one.
Location is perfect. The hotel is just steps away from the Taipei Metro. Room is well cleaned and maintained. Staffs are very polite and helpful. It’s our second visit and will continue to do so.
I checked in on Dec 23rd, 2018 Sunday night, the help desk staffs r very helpful and friendly. They r polite, provide necessary information. Each and every of the staffs greets hotel guests. On the third day, the hotel upgrades my room to have a better city view, especially the view of Taipei 101. The hotel is clean, neat and tidy. Room is well maintained. Gym is located at 2nd floor, rather small, but, its not a problem. Right 8n front us the station, extremely convenient. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others to stay. I would come back again.
Perfectly situated, clean modern hotel with fresh rooms. MRT entrance is literally right outside the front door. Plenty of shops, malls and restaurants are located within walking distance. The staff are friendly and are attentive to the guests needs *With exception of the breakfast staff. The Egg station chef could care less of guest needs and quite honestly doesn’t look like they want to even be here. As for the rooms the Higher floors have beautiful views to the Taipei 101 building but these rooms come at a higher cost per night. Although my room is standard on a lower floor it is just as comfortably😴 situated. Since I don’t have the view I look at pictures of the tower on my phone 😂
No problem at all. Great room with the clean bed and the bathroom. Reasonable price and above all, it is located just in front of the exit 6 of Dana station! The staffs were very friendly and kind as well. Will visit again definitely.
Nice room and service. Extremely convenient location in a lovely neighbourhood dotted with high quality restaurants. Its a pleasure just to stroll around in day time or at night. A laundry shop is nearby.
Front Desk service was excellent. Several of the staff spoke both Japanese and English well and were very helpful. Room was standard affair but was very clean and I had no complaints. The best part of the place is its location. The Daan station exit 5 was located directly infront of the hotel which gives you access to both Tamsui-Xinyi Line and Wenhu Line. With a short walk to Yong He Soy Milk King for breakfast and Tonghua Night Market so close by, I would highly recommend this hotel.
Courteous and bilingual staff who were prompt in meeting my requests (including early check-in which was requested through the hotel booking websiteand my room was clean and of decent size. Additionally, it is located a stone’s throw away from SOGO Fuxing and Zhongxiao.
Location, location, location! Staff were super friendly as well. The carpet in the room was gross though, we couldnt walk barefoot in the room it was so dirty by its age and use.Besides the carpet that needs to be replaced we loved this hotel. 5 stars for the location and the staff.Literally a few steps from exit 6 of Daan MRT!
Room was a nice cozy area. Ample space and clean area. The bathroom was really modern including a bathtub, shower, and electric toilet. Service was outstanding; there was no problems during my stay. Location was great, allowing us to get anywhere in the city in a decent amount of time. Overall, great hotel to stay at
Definitely a good hotel near the train station! The service staff are very professional and polite as well. They took pride of their job even the bell boy. Will definitely stay here again. They have the best Taipei 101 view.
Lovely hotel in a convenient area of Taipei. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Loved having tea in the lobby. Staff was great about combining two bookings and made it very easy. Friendly and English speaking staff, who always seemed to remember us, and had great suggestions.
Very impressed by the quality of this hotel for its price point. Overall very clean, friendly staff, 20 steps away from the train station exit, big room and bathroom, safe and central location. Cant ask for much more !
Perfectly located meters from exit 6 of Daan station. Close to the center of Taipei, meaning easy access to the red, blue, and brown lines. Room was well appointed with views of Taipei. A good choice for international visitors spending only a few days in Taipei. Staff were professional.
A good international standard hotel. Although its a mid size property it convenient located next to Daan mrt station. Its near every where yet is a short distance to every tourists location . By foot to Taipei 101 is 2.4km and to ximen or Taipei station is 5 station away. The way the metro design here, if you want to go to the main shopping belt at zhong xiao/city hall you need to change from brown line which is above street level to blue line which is subway . Not much to see around the hotel surrounding , only some cafe, food store and pub at the back lane all spread out. There is a few convenient store around and thats it. Hotel room is good however last facelift probably in the early 2000s. It lack of modern facilities like usb charging near the bed. Toilet is well equips even with bidet that has seat warming functions. Staff are fluent in English as compared to other properties I had stay in Taiwan. Breakfast spread is good, restaurant ambiance is great too. Management is very prompt. I was miscommunicated with the breakfast timing. When I feedback about this , their management staff personally come and apologies. Generally a good quiet business hotel which near everywhere yet a distance away.
Hotel is amazing. Convenient location right in front Daan train station exit/entrance #6. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable. Spacious room for up to 3 people. Bathrooms are clean. The hotel staff is very friendly, knowledgable and accommodating. The hotel lounge has good coffee and snacks that connects to an outdoor seating area. The hotel has a restaurant on the first floor, but its a bit pricey. The hotel is walking distance to a huge number of dining choices and to a shopping area. Right next door is a couple small quick traditional food stalls along with a Starbucks on the corner.
Hoorible service. Only stay here if you do not mind having a cold shower. Told the management about not having hot water and they never fixed it, attempted to change rooms nor offering any apology. Attitude in the front desk is not professional whatsoever. I have not stayed in such a badly managed hotel in a long time.
Great location , close to Daan MRT station, lots of convenient stores, restaurants. Nice and clean. Staffs are friendly. Breakfast is alright. The only thing to complain about is the bathroom, there were only "very hot" and " cold" water for both shower & bath.
All the amenities you would expect are there. Breakfast is included, and opens at 6:30.there is a coffee room with snacks and hot beverages, rooms have Japanese toilets. The metro is right at the door. Very friendly staff too. We will definitely return to this hotel next time we travel to Taipei.
This is where I stayed for the last day in Taiwan before I returned in HK of my Asia 2017 trip. The service was helpful and the rooms were very nice and clean. You also get a nice view down onto the street and the subway tracks. It was a good location as well. Located near Daan Station. Definitely coming back here if Im visiting Taipei.
Nice business hotel, forthcoming staff, great rooms and conveniently located - its right next to Daan Station. Modern, well-appointed rooms with a conoarqrivel spacious bathroom. 101 view rooms offer a great view, especially in the night. Great buffet style breakfast with delicious coffee and a good variety of dishes. Efficient, friendly staff also in the restaurant area. The sureou area offers some pubs and bars as well as cafés. Overall a decently-priced hotel that can be rexomme without hesitation.
My go to hotel in Taipei. (You can tell your taxi driver you want to go to the May Lwin hotel. Lwin is pronounced like "win" as in "winning" but stick a "L" in front of it.Its a pretty famous hotel and btw the taxi ride from the Taoyuan airport should be no more than $1400 NT or $35-38 USD at the most.At $165 (USDbucks a night for two people in the posh district of Daan it isnt bad at all. (Plus it beats staying with relatives and getting involved in family politics and drama. Here is the load down:1.The rooms are small but decent size. about 325 sq ft. In Taiwan this is standard size. They use exclusively the Japanese high end fixture TOTO for everything in the bathroom. The shower was hot and the A/C worked well to cut down some of the famous Taiwanese humidity.2. For $165 it is a fair price. and the location is ideal. You can walk 10 min. west and stay at the posher Eclat $221 and get a Nespresso machine in your room. Then there is also Home Hotel Daan a 10 min. walk north of here for $178.3. Its 50 ft. from the Daan subway (redline). During the raining season of Taipei you will thank your lucky star for this! If you google the Daan subway station you can see the hotel is literally right behind it. Dont worry every room is sound proof. You wont hear a thing.4.There is a 7-11 about a min. walk behind the hotel. Good for midnight snacks but they dont sell antacids...you have to go to Watson for that...5. its 350 ft. from a 3 story Starbucks that opens at 6:30 AM.6. its 600 ft. away from the Daan bus station.7. Two door down from the bus station is the famous 24/7 Yong He Soy Milk King!8. Walk 2 more doors down from the Soy Milk King and there is a Watson-the CVS of Taiwan9. There is a 24/7 laundromat about 7 minute walk from the hotel. Just google " Ty Lee Pen Shop." its across the street10. There is a an organic grocery store on the way to the laundromat where you can buy organic produce to teas to cereals. Its called Orange Market. Their address isNo. 2, Lane 78, Section 2, Fuxing S Rd, Daan District, Taipei City, Taiwan 106. They have 20 stores all over Taiwan.11. The world famous TY Lee Pen Shop is about a 8 minute walk from here12. The hotel is a "business" hotel so no loud tourist groups or kids slamming doors in the middle of the night.13. The hotel is well maintained. No mystery stains on the carpet or sofa. The bathroom is clean and modern. Looks to be less than 5 years old or less.14. the coffee bar on the 2nd floor has decent coffee and snacks. There are 3 comfortable sofas and reading materials. They also provide free of charge 2 desk top computers and a printer. its $20 NT or $0.65 per page.15. The famous Michelin one star Din Tai Fung (the original locationis 8 minutes by taxi or subway. Its 20 minutes by foot if the weather is nice.16. Its 15 min. walk to SOGO the department store and The Breeze Center (a high-end department store-Ferragamo, Gucci, etc.)17. They provide a nice quantity of toiletries. Colgate toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, bath wash, lotion, shower cap, razer, q-tips, tooth foss-you know the tooth pick that has a dental floss that looks like the letter "D" and a hairdryer. Its on the weak side but to be fair I got the same exact hairdryer at the Grand Hyatt as well...so it must be standard....18. Each room has a safe and a umbrella big enough for two people.19. the front desk was fantastic and spoke English. They also will print out directions for you since for some reason Google map likes to go haywire in Taiwan.....must be the communist Chinese monitoring us...20.There is a decent boba tea just 20 ft. away from the hotel. Cant beat it.So there you are. 20 reasons as to why this is a great hotel and why its a good bang for your buck!
Very comfy and convenient. Good value for the price. Its next to the Daan train station. Its also near to a FamilyMart. The only con is that the blankets are too thick, plus there arent any windows, unless you count the balcony, but our rooms ones were stuck so we couldnt open them. But still awesome!!! 👍🏻😄🏨
Comfortable & Convenient Hotel!Rooms: Comfortable rooms with mid-sized rooms. Shower and tubs available in the bathroom. Some rooms at a higher price have a good view of Taipei 101 in the distance which is worthwhile for first timers in Taipei.Service: English speaking staff at reception were friendly and helpful.Location: Extremely convenient 10 steps out of the hotel front door is the Da An MRT Station Exit 6. It is considered in a relatively central area of Taipei within a quiet neighborhood.Key Takeaway: Good choice for couples or travelers looking for a quiet, mid-range hotel to stay with incredibly convenient transportation options.
Great experience - had our room ready for us at 7:30am which was perfect after a 15 hour flight. Very accommodating for kids, providing a crib, step stool and tub for my toddler. Help arranged an airport car service with car seat. Metro right outside front door, small playground directly behind hotel, close to good food and short walk to Daan Forest Park. Would return.
Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Quiet floors. What more do you need. Let see, a good central location, right on the MRT, breakfast option, stand up showers plus a bathtub. In room fridge too.
Had a pleasant stay as the location is very convenient. Daan is very near to taipei 101 as well. Although the hotel lobby is a little dark, the room itself is actually well lit and the bathroom was quite spacious as well.
there are a lot of hotels to choose from and this one is a bit on the pricey side. but you get what you pay for, first rate english speaking staff, great breakfast buffet, clean and almost luxury room deco and best of all, great location. the metro station is right outside and the airport bus stop is across the street (about a three minute walk). be sure to purchase a day pass for both metro and buses (at the metro station ticket areaand roam the town at will. also, be sure to purchase a sim card for your phone and use Google map for navigation (at the airport as soon as you leave custom). this is a great hotel if you dont mind spending a little extra. otherwise use this as a reference to find what you need.
