Park Ribnjak in Zagreb

The closest park to the city center, about 4-5 minutes walking from the Main Sguare "Trg bana Josipa Jelačića". Not a big one but offering nice relax in the shade of trees. People mostly enjoying a short break here during lunch time or after walking around. Good for taking a dogs outdoor.

Lovely park popular for dog walkers, childrens playground. Summer music festival here is great, very relaxing atmosphere all around one of my favorite places in the city. The Culture centre located here is lovely and active!

A quiet place to relax in the middle of a buzzing center, lots of shade and inviting green lawns and plenty of benches for sitting and napping.

Amazing green huge park. Great for picnics, doing sports on the grass or walking dogs! We saw a lot of dogs too! A great break from the city centre and so conveniently located right next to it

Wise open green space with shaded areas and benches for relaxing. Fun playground equipment for children who want to swing, climb, or rock. Public bathrooms are clean and available.

Good for walking and having fun with the kids. Its a green area in the middle of the city, very close to city centre. During the summer there is a bar and scene with live music, so you can have a beer wile kids are playing. Lot of young people during the evenings, very nice. But unfortunately they remove the bar and scene in the beginning of September. Also called art part.

This park is very close to main city center and would recommend to all turists who like to see where young generation in Zagreb likes to hang out. And if you like nature and beauty you will feel at peace here.

Had a pleasure to be there during the small summer event Art park. Great event with DJ and bars with snacks and good choice of craft beer.

A well known nice park in the center of the city, but a little secluded. At night there is a bar in the open. There is a gravel track that will serve for running - not big enough for long runs, but it can help if you dont want to run through the streets.

Beautiful green oasis in the centre of Zagreb. Nice for kids and anyone that needs a break and wants to spend it surrounded by trees.Could use a bit of maintanance, trash bins and drinking water fountains.

Nice park in the center of the town. Although it is missing some gadgetry of children playing.It has few swings (very old onesand one climber whith a slide for chlidren.Summer nights are great at Ribnjak whith lots of air and music nights at Art Park (place 2 go out in side a parkand some occasional festivals inside park (like Cafe de Matos, Crossover...). Great park! 🙂

Just like desert oasis in the main centre. Sometimes there are art POP UP exibitions mostly during the summer but anyhow it is great place to chill.

a lot of mosquitoes so be careful but all in all, a great place to get a bit of fresh air, extremely close to the old town and Kaptol

Small park next to the Zagreb Cathedral. It is not a good place. You have many other parks much more beautiful, such as the Maksimir.

The oasis of peace! Beatiful park in the city centre, amazing for walks, taking pets out and simply enjoing the nature. There is a quite busy road nearby unfortunately, but again, maybe it would be a bit creepy if it was too quiet. After all, it is a park... and parks can get pretty dark in the evening.

Kind of small park with few small hills, near the center, some events take place there. Nothing too particular about it

Park of my childhood its nice and interesting with lots of statues, different trees, nice little fountain. Great walk in heart of Zagreb, would be nice if it was renovated and put some money into it. But its a must see in Zagreb.

Paths in park can be muddy so you need to avoid it carefully, but other then that (if there was no rain in previous days), wonderful place in Zagreb center to have a peaceful walk or just to sit under the trees. Also nice place for children to play or to walk your dogs.

Beautifull park in the center of town, less then 5min from main square. Park with great history and stories to tell. Nice for walk, running, rest etc... Its visited always, no matter of part of the year or day.

This summer, park is completely different and open to any public. Nice. Keep in mind that you will be able to do anything with your family and friends or pet.

Very nice and large park in the center of Zagreb. Now there are plenty of happenings in the summer.

As far as parks go its not really a recreational one where you can kick a ball around in. A basic one with plenty of shade covering most of the paths. There is an interesting art Cafe there which may be a seasonal thing in summer or maybe a once off. There was a time when I went through the park to visit Purgeraj. That was the good old days.

Beautiful park, very typical of old Zagreb. Unfortunately, it keeps getting left out when it comes to restoration. The kids playground is very basic, there is no coffee bar opened all the time and so on. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise its a 5 star park.

I have been passing through here every day and it has always been filled with a lot of people and a lot of dogs. There is a section of the park where you can sit down and enjoy the view, also there is a space where kids can enjoy playing around on the equipment made just for them, like swings for example. All in all it is a good big park with a lot of trees and also there is a public bathroom

Calm little park, although not really well kept. Not much to do there and not even that relaxing since we can hear the loud road that is passing nearby
