Love this hotel. Great staff. Good location for transport as it is within walking distance from Waterloo Tube and Mainline stations. The station has an M&S when you want a packed lunch. New street cafe at hotel has hot water bottles and heaters for the colder days. Short walk to St Thomass hospital, London Eye, South Bank entertainment center and Westminster bridge.
Absolutely chuffed to bits with the whole service this hotel provides. Took full advantage of the 24 hour room service, and food is excellent . Lovely tray of treats on our arrival and so close to all the wonderful things london has to offer. The staff are very helpful and polite, nothing is too much trouble.. and the bed and pillows are the best. All the little extras aswell are amazing. 5☆☆☆☆☆
Full House of Stars for this Hotel.Location is fantastic and with Waterloo Train Station next door you cant go wrong. My Wife and I where there for two days as I had an appointment close by. We did the usual duties of seeing places in the time we had, the Staff where very helpful in always. We asked for a quite room on the first floor and got an upgrade to a room with a wee lounge and kitchen area which was brilliant.Hopefully well be back in this Hotel and experience more of what London has to offer!
Have stayed here a few times. Rooms are large. Nice well appointed. The kitchen and facilities make it easy to save some $$ on food if you need a beak from buying out. Fridge isn’t a fridge it’s a cool box unless you ask to open the fridge bit and put a deposit for the mini bar.Views aren’t great on the back looking at the station but who cares when it’s so conveniently located for all the tourist sites.I’d def stay again and have.
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel for mothers Day weekend. The location was great short walk to the Southbank and right next to Waterloo (but couldnt hear any noise at allor family studio was nice and spacious our son loved the view of the trains and the floor to ceiling windows. Breakfast was also very good, great selection and never too busy we picked up the breakfast on a half price offer and kids ate free so was very good value. Would definitely stay here again. Oh and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
The location is great. Smooth check in. Most of the staff were excellent with few exceptions. The only issue for our stay was the room cleaning which by default only happen every 3 days and you have to ask for it and remind every now and then about it. The studio rooms are spacious and well maintained
Just recently stayed here with my family for 4 nights. Reception was really nice and they really made it special for the kids. Room was nice. We paid extra for the view of the London Eye. It was beautiful to look out at. The room had everything you needed inside and I liked how big the shower was.Hotel is within walking distance of so many things. We paid for breakfast every morning and it was worth it for us.We plan on returning next year!
A convenient place to stay in Central London. Check in was not until 3pm, but there is a decent bar/restaurant in the lobby. The rooms were clean and the addition of a small kitchen in the family room was very helpful with a little one.Really difficult to park outside the hotel as their is a bike lane and bus stop outside the hotel, so dragging large suitcases over to the hotel was tricky.Staff were mostly friendly and helpful, but was always very busy.
Ive been staying here for the last couple of days, paying a really good premium for my room and its definitely a good room in a good location...But the service is absolutely appalling, nobody really cares about you or your requests, even as simple as asking to clean my room (on day 3 that toowhile Im out for the day or even getting some water bottles. I have to ask multiple times, and even then they are very sluggish. Now the hotel will argue that its "busy", but thats no excuse for shoddy hospitality and service especially if you claim 4 or 5 ⭐Checking in was great, Rama (Slovenian lady at receptionwas super warm, helpful and welcoming during check-in.After that its all been totally downhill in terms of hospitality. I will be checking out very soon. Please do not spend your money at this hotel to expect the 4/5 star service.
Super location for visiting London and outside of London. The staff at the check in counter and housekeeping staff are very good. Good security too. But your room is only cleaned up every 3 days. Also the breakfast has the same type of dishes everyday. I stayed for 8 days and had to eat the same items for 8 mornings. Also the coffee cups in the breakfast room were not cleaned properly because you can still smell the dried saliva on the edges of the washed cups. The quality of the toilet paper in the room was very very rough.
Stayed in room 1408, the view from the patio is amazing - especially later at night! The hotel was quite busy so service was a bit lacking but the staff were extremely helpful where they could be. The room was hot and a bit rough but once I took control and made some adjustments everything sorted itself out. I would absolutely stay in the penthouse again, if not just for the experience!
Although a bit more expensive than most in the area. The rooms are very good. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and we had some great food in the restaurant/bar
Room was slightly tired, outside view was of building works: which the hotel cant help. The room was a good size, was able to check in early which was good. I worked in the room as had laptop, the studio room I had, had a seating area, but with no window etc it felt like a random wasted space with a hard sofa in it. There was a wardrobe in this area, with a random small TV to the side, so this space was nice...but not really a space to sit and relax. Bed was comfortable, and room was nice and clean etc. Great location and the service Ive had from staff has been great. I used the gym and it was clean and tidy and well stocked. Overall great stay.
We never reviewed our stay here at Park Plaza County Hall London, and it’s somehow been 9 years (thanks for the wonderful reminder, Facebook!). The room was great, staff were courteous and helpful, and so conveniently located to everywhere we wanted to visit during our trip. It really made our trip to London special by providing a safe, nice place to return to after long days of flights and adventures. My wife and I will definitely stay here whenever we return London.
We stayed at the hotel before a long journey back to Australia. The staff were so helpful from start to finish, especially Sandra. The location of the hotel was great for access to great tourist spots. Breakfast was fab and again the staff were efficient and friendly. We had a studio room and everything we needed was conveniently there ready to use.We loved our stay and would definitely recommend.
Amazing one night stay for our anniversary at this hotel which is a close walk to the London Eye and Big Ben. Petra at reception was so welcoming and upgraded our room to 1212 which had a magnificent view of the city and was very spacious. The breakfast was very tasty and the chef was top class, sadly I didn’t get his name.
If we will come back to London, we will definitely stay here. I don’t know where to start, we enjoyed everything.Staff/Customer Service: they were remarkably awesome, everyone at the hotel was nice, helpful and friendly. Our stay was special because of you, our boys got attached and did not want to leave 🤣 Oscar, thank you so much for all your help.Rooms: very nice and clean.Location: it is close to everywhere, and so many attractions are walk distance. Close to Waterloo train station too.I can’t say enough words about our stay, but I’d like to thank every single one in the hotel, and will stay with you next time.
I used to stay at the County Hall all the time, yet when its sister hotel opposite opened up, I generally switched to that one. However in revisiting County Hall last week I was reminded about everything that was really good about it. From the feel of the place to the helpfulness of the staff. I still believe the studio rooms are among the most practical and ideal anywhere in London, absolutely perfect for 2 adults and 2 children.
We booked for twin room for 5 days in early May 2022. We were first given a room with a view of internal block of the hotel. We did not like the room layout, as it looked pretty small for the price we paid. Since we booked for many days, we tried to negotiate on the next day, to get a new room with a better view at least. The receptionist (Italian girlwas simply awesome and helpful. And we just loved the new room which was obviously more spacious with a view overlooking the city. The room was clean and housekeeping was fine too. Staffs were generally helpful (especially the Italian girl and Thai guy). We also had breakfast for the first few days. We felt that it would have been better if the space was bigger as they were many people during breakfast. There was no social distancing whatsoever. Tables were positioned way too close with one another. Other than that, everything was just good.
It was a nice hotel and would stay again. The room was fine but the pillows were a bit lumpy and the loo roll was in a very awkward position and we a view of a wall, but it was a place to rest our heads so it was good. Location was excellent.
Had a family room with a view over London Eye. Was a good place to stay with kids for the night.Nice central hotel.Clean and modern. There was a bit of confusion when we checked in over our booking, but it was quickly resolved.Situated by a busy roundabout, so not the most attractive surrounding.
This is one of the best hotels in London and the experience staying there was amazing thanks to Bruno, Dimitri, Oscar and Mark the Night Manager. This hotel is family friendly and a walking distance to a lot of attractions. I wish there were more stars to give for our experience but we will be back in the future.
Great experience thanks to the staff and most importantly the reception team. My family and I enjoyed our stay and Bruno from the reception made my kids feel very welcome as he was attentive to them. Thank you to Mark the night manager for the great experience. Highly recommended Park Plaza County Hall and definitely we will be back.
We really enjoyed our stay. Oscar in Reception was friendly and helpful. Our Penthouse was not ready but Oscar was going to put us in another room but that allocated room was occupied when we went to the room but Oscar went down and came up informing us our room was ready. Oscar provided us with fruit and soft drinks complimentary which was a great touch. The penthouse was big and clean. Nice terrace with a nice view of Big Ben. Definitely recommend this room.We had breakfast and Mama at breakfast was so friendly and helpful.Excellent service from all the staff at the hotel.
