The experience was OK. However some aspects could be improved, like room temperature (it was coldand water going out of bath area. Id also suggest to include more meal options in the restaurant.

Excellent location. Wifi in hotel was useful. Rooms would benefit from tea coffee making facilities. Also bathroom while perfectly servicable it had a strange set up with the shower door which tended to cause the floor to get wet in the bathroom. Most staff very friendly. I would highly recommend. We enjoyed our 3 nights here on the 27th floor.

Very nice hotel, polite staff, well maintained property. Breakfast was decent 7.5/10. Overall good experience and happily come back to stay.

I stayed here for 3 days, the room was spacious, clean and elegant, with a nice big shower box, comfortable beds, a wide wardrobe and a mini fridge and safe too.The room was also supplied with toiletries such as bodywash and clean towels and was well lit too.Theres also a nice wide desk space with comfortable leather chairs by the window.Staff was helpful and friendly, no complaints there.Only odd thing was that the shower box is not in a separate room so its completely visible from everywhere in the room, thats a good thing for couples I guess, but theres a curtain you can pull around the shower area so you can still have privacy if youre with a friend (without benefits lol).The hotel is very well placed for transportation around Berlin, Alexanderplatz isnt the most elegant zone, but its full of tourists and young people so its still busy and lively around.And honestly you just need to walk 1m to get to the station and go anywhere you want.Price was also very very convenient and honestly low for what we got in my opinion ( around 50€/night + a small service and tourism fee)Overall I had 0 problems with the hotel and was positively impressed by the quality of the room and the price. Definitely recommend it

Enjoyed our stay here. Were visiting for work and it is big enough to get the whole team in one location. Facilities are good, staff helpful and friendly. We ate here as a group too which was excellent and the team were very accommodating. Small things let it down like no replenishing the drinking water in the room or the time it takes to get to / from your room in the morning rush when the lifts are crazy busy. Also cant use the stairs to go up to your room and have to go to the second floor, change lifts and go up again to get to the spa - a little strange.

Decent hotel. Interesting crowd. One thing Id recommend is to avoid the breakfast at the hotel. It was really expensive for a very mediocre experience. There seems to be many near by breakfast/brunch places that are worth the money and time.

Minus:-Beds are very light and tend to move around easily.-Thats why you hear people above you when they are having fun -Water from the shower got into the room.-Room service forgot to clean our room twice.Plus:+Receptionist was very professional and very friendly.+Very good hotel bar

If you wish to check in early, you should not report to the reception desk. They will ask you for 25 euros in payment. When I used the machine to check myself at the entrance, they did not charge me. I find this very odd. In any case, the stay in its whole was pleasant, the room was spotless and ample, and it was reasonably priced. The gymnasium had some beautiful new additions. The most important aspect is located towards the center.

I enjoyed my stay. I thought the location was convenient. The accessibility to transportation all through the city was readily available. Check-in and out was an easy process. My room was cleaned and maintained daily and efficiently. I had an issue with the toilet but spoke to maintenance who fixed it the same day, which resolved the issue. I would stay here again the next time I am in Berlin.

Hotel itself is good, rooms clean with plenty of surfaces for your things. Bathrooms in the standard rooms are a little tight and only separated from the bed by glass, so make sure you really like your roommates.Good location for being central in Berlin. On top of U-Bahn and S-Bahn. Direct train to the airport. I loved being able to come back for a nap between activities.Id stay here again if I needed the location. I was here for work and commute via Alexanderplatz so the location is hard to beat.Breakfast buffet was not worth the price. Eat elsewhere. Basic continental breakfast with a few extras for 27 EUR? No thanks. Buy a coffee and pastry at the train station for 6 EUR.

A place falls and stays with staff and unfortunately - the staff at the check in counters was just chaos.Long line at check in ( self check in at machine failed); then check in staff took airline crews from the middle of the line first; no upgrade despite high status level.Housekeeping came one day early and said reception told them we checked out one day early. She can three times if we really didn’t check out ( while I was in my Pyjamas…)Had to go to the airport at 4.45 am for one of our party members; none of the lifts worked. Had to call reception they said it’s under maintenance ( in German and I speak Germanafter I told themI need to go down with luggage they said I’ve to carry themDown myself to another floor from where I could take the lift again. I told her that they’d be heavy but she didn’t car and neither gave any solution or help from staff to bring the luggage down.Key card later the day was deactivated by staff even though check out timeHas been confirmed before in writing. Once again staff not apologetic; fixed it but didn’t apologize ( card let me go to the room level but didn’t let me open the door).Hotel is just Chaos. Corridors on floor to room are easterly low; at 180cm there was space but the ceiling looked like less than 2 m.RoomItself was decent in size but no bathroom door ; toilet door is a swing door. Good luck you hear every toilet busy of your travel companion and hear everything from the bathroom; even reflects through mirror and window so you’d to actually close the window curtain ( not just the one to the bedroom; but also the ones along the room door).Doors to alexanserplatz are closed at night - good luck walking around the hotel at night to use metro or train.

Location is very central but the hotel is extremely busy. Crowds of people on the ground floor and the elevators. If you are looking for cheap and central, its ok. If youre looking for a calmer environment, look elsewhere. Rooms are ok but quite old and theres no fridge or coffee machine.

I came to Berlin for photo shooting and booked a room with panoramic view. No need to say that these rooms are more expensive than the standard ones, which is ok.What is not acceptable is that the inner side of the windows were dirty. I was able to see the face grease of previous occupants “printed” here and there on the windows. Outer side of the windows were dirty as well and could easily be cleaned as there are two sets of windows, for safety reasons. I understand that the safety window is hard to clean and involves special equipment.The room was clean and wide, but the service could be better for this price range. I had coffee in the room, but the room service didn’t change the cups. What was I supposed to do ? Wash it with body soap ?!There was only one set of pillows, a bit sad if the long and narrow type of pillow is not your thing…It was an interesting experience and if you don’t plan to shoot photos from the room and are ready to do the dishes, it’s worth a try.Personally, I was disappointed and will book another hotel next time I come to Berlin. I might use the panoramic roof of the hotel which is accessible for an additional 6 euros…

The location is great, but rooms are quite small and overall the hotel feels dated. Breakfast was okayish, but dont go expecting anything fancy. Cleaning ladies skipped our room because we were still in at 10:00am.

Very nice hotel at a great location. Plenty of decent restaurants and shopping malls around the hotel. I booked a room with panoramic view and the view was amazing. I did not remove a star, but 24 € for breakfast buffet was not worth it. Too expensive for such a low quality breakfast

Excellent room, the view was breathtaking.The mattress was bit too stiff for my liking.The temperture of the water in shower changed constantly between hot and cold and was bit lacking in pressure.Nice breakfast.

I stayed here as part of a marathon tour package - I did not personally select this hotel. The location is excellent, and there was even a small Oktoberfest happening in the square outside of the hotel. The breakfast was also excellent.The room was small but relatively clean. As others have noted, the wifi was not strong. But I was a bit surprised by the bathroom setup. The shower walls were see-through and only protected by a curtain. The toilet was encased separately by frosted glass, but the “door” to the toilet didn’t even seal. It was kind of like a swing door.Not an ideal setup for friends unless you are okay hearing everything.

The hotel rooms are amazing! We got the corner room it had the view of both the side which was amazing. I really enjoyed my stay there! There are so many food places nearby. Also dont forget to visit the terrace(37th floor), the view is worth watching.

Park Inn is a strange hotel.It lies super well, but then it also stops here.We were on a mens trip and had booked a Color Suite as it could handle 3 adults. But its not super cool to be on display in the bath, as almost everything is glass.Furthermore, our "suite" does not have a single window. So we cant look out, so you got the feeling of sitting in a basement even though we were on the 27th floor.The bar isnt the best either. It seems incredibly assembly line-like. We were accused of not having paid, and that created a discussion where they eventually found the receipt that we HAD. And if you come 30 minutes before closing, you get a sour look and are told that you have to hurry because they will close shortly. And the drinks are mixed very small. The picture shows a new drink.One night to go, and we will not come back.

Good location close to transport hubs. City view rooms.The elevators are terrible. Over 33 floors hotel! Out of the four elevators in our section, only one always worked. People line up awaiting to get into the elevator. The elevator ride to the 17th floor took up to 20 minutes! To go down is also a lot of time, waiting and stopping at each floor until the maximum filling of the elevator cabin.

The hotel is very clean, has fast elevators, the rooms are nice and pretty spacious, the city views are gorgeous and the location is good also. However, the wi-fi connection is extremely weak. All in all, we had a nice experience.

Really good location for getting around Berlin with several nice restaurants within 15 minutes walk.Train stations are within 3 minutes walk.Room was a bit too cold due to air conditioning that would not turn off.Beds were not very comfortable, neither are the pillows.Very poor service at the reception, I went down to get an adaptor for both of our phones as it said in the room they had available. Rude receptionist informed me they just had 1 that I could borrow and she would add notes to my account so I best bring it back. (Not used to being treated like a criminal while in a suit for my business trip)Once back at the room we discovered that the adaptor was broken. I took it back to reception, where another receptionist said not a problem, brought back 2 large boxes of adaptors and phone chargers and told me to just take what we needed.The rooftop bar is brilliant, really enjoyed a few drinks in the late afternoon, looking over the city, beautiful for watching the sunset.Very nice view from our room.

Accomodation for the purpose of business trip.Room quite small, but except the fridge had everything needed. View from the room is very nice.Breakfast above average from my perspective - plenty of possible choices.Location very good with usage of hotel parking lot.

Good and friendly service in the reception, even though service during breakfast was pretty bad (people seemed quite angry and unfriendly. Was about to take a spoon, apparently from the wrong place, and a lady made it very clear that I was not allowed to take it from that place. It was next to the coffee machine, so I dont know what I did wrong).OK gym, basic hotel quality.Air condition was broken in the hotel during my stay and it was around 32-35 degrees outside, so the first night was very, very bad. Had a small room, and was not really able to sleep. But I got another room the next day, still air condition not working but it was on the other side of the building, so it was a bit cooler.

I had a very disappointing stay. AC were not working throughout whole stay and the staff at reception initially just refused to help. The third last day I met a very nice man at reception and he did listen toMy request. He tried to find a room working with AC which I appreciate and in the end provided me a table fan which helped in my final stay. The experience from last boy that he is trying to help me changed my opinion otherwise when I checked in for 2 days staff just written off my request. At checkout they did give me discount but I appreciated at least if they have provided me a table fan at check in so that I can sleep. As Berlin was very hot those 2 days. Many other staff also complained in the lift. But simply writing off customer request is not very appreciable. I was pleased with help of last reception staff who at least tried. And than eventually provided me a table fan which helped. But at the time of check in and asking for helpFromMultiple people they just ignored. What annoyed me the most is some people said to me they have table fan which I didn’t have. I thought because I was staying alone they didn’t more or less care which is not very good service. Sorry I will now never ever stay there. Thanks

The room had no AC in the middle of the summer. It was a horrible experience. And they failed to communicate this issue since they had it for days. They didnt guarantee for it to be fixed so it left me with the need to book a last minute hotel for much more than what I initially paid. The only good thing they did was give a full refund which counts for nothing since I had to reebok another place.

Great staff, all very polite, helpful and attentive. Also great location but 3 major downers: firstly no air conditioning in the bedrooms which was unbearable during my recent visit in August where night time temperatures were around 24 centigrade. Secondly beds very uncomfortable- need much better pillows. Thirdly be warned that there was very little privacy between the WC and sleeping area - suffice to say, play the music loud when you are in the WC if you are sharing a room with someone. This hotel has lots of positives - mainly the staff who were great but the rooms were unbearable, particularly during the daytime when temperatures outside were high. Unfortunately these negatives mentioned will stop me revisiting this hotel.

The entire experience has been fantastic; from the location of the hotel and the view from the room. Room was well maintained and serviced. Breakfast available on the floor floor; didnt have to go to another location within the hotel. Many POI are in a fair walking distance or short taxi ride away. Would definitely return for my next visit in Berlin

The location is truly perfect if you want a loud, busy, city-center experience, which i did! If traveling alone, the rooms are quite comfortable; however, as can be seen in photo, the shower is a clear glass cube visible from anywhere in the room. Even more bizarre is the translucent walls of the toilet. You will definitely get to know your traveling companions more than you might have wished to. For those used to a more restrained hotel, the lobby is more like a narrow corridor in a shopping center. Indeed there is a Burger King (with a decent vegan option!Basically in the hotel. One nice feature was the automated check in machines similar to airport check in machines that made for an almost instant check-in process. HOWEVER, you do need an internet connection to get your room number, which comes by email not with the key. And to sign in to the hotels WiFi you need your room number.,. Catch 22 for many coming from outside the EU. Once youve accepted the idiosyncratic features of the hotel, its quite pleasant. Id like to thank Mr. J. Klein at the Reception who was especially helpful and accommodating. I will be back but now i know what to expect.

The breakfast and the staff are fantastic. The elevators are sufficient except for a short time in the morning, or when a big group is arriving. The rooms are fine but the bathroom concept is a little weird--the curtain isnt really sufficient. They ought to play up the buildings history more--theres only a little plaque near one of the elevator banks--although I think the bathroom concept is Radissons fault rather than the DDRs.

First impressions were good, swift check in. Although fancy check in machines were out of room cards.Very fast lifts, and plenty of them.Rooms were very modern, and quite spacious. There was a small table by the window, with a view of the TV tower, which was lovely to eat a little bit of food at.In typical German style, it was a double bed with two separate duvets.There was a fridge, as well as wine glasses in the cupboard. Also plenty of storage space around the room.The only give away that the hotel was built in the DDR era, was the large sprinkler on the side of a small wall in the middle of the room!The air conditioning was very effective, which was very nice in the summer.Id definitely stay here again, especially for the low price I paid per night!

Im always happy when I go to Berlin. This time I wanted to know how the famous ParkInn is actually like.Its definitely the best hotel in Berlin. Service, View and Area-wise its clear of the Astoria. Anything you needed they provided and Im happily coming back!

Hotel is in a good central location and rooms after ok based on the price. However, the lack of air-conditioning in the room makes staying in the room unbearable, particularly on warm days as we are currently seeing. On that basis I would not recommend staying in this hotel unfortunately.

Great location, rooms ceiling is too low and gives the idea of smaller space. The locatipn and view though are great! I did not have air con in my room which is a con.

Excellent location, very clean tidy room. Great breakfast with plenty of choice which was frequently replenished. Service excellent. Only slight letdown was lack of tea and coffee facilities in room. Did provide kettle and few coffee and sugar sachets on request but these were not replenished daily and toiletries were minimal and not replenished. However this did not affect our stay. Daughter lives locally which was the reason for our visit. Would stay again.

Not terrible, but not great either. Why the 3 stars? The AC is non existent (and yea I’ve read the whole AC conditioned ceiling explanation and am still mystified what this means). It was horrendously hot in Berlin this week and my room was a furnace. And then the shower. It would alternate between burning hot and freezing cold every 5 seconds. Every. Single. Day.The bedding was nice though.

Breakfast was good with a decent variety. The room was ok, air conditioning would be an asset. The shower was leaking so the floor was at the end wet... The service was nice.

Not suitable for families. The staff and the manager is extremely rude and violated privacy. They entered our room without our permission to take the forgotten belongings of the previous guest out from the safe. It was quite a fearful and harassing experience. They bothered us by calling us several times on our personal phones. We denied to give permission to enter our room until we were back. The manager seemingly has connections with some bad people. He was extremely rude on phone. He threatened us like a mafia person. It scared the hell out of me. I am never going back to that hotel nor will I recommend any family with children to reserve it even if its a great deal.*couldnt find an option to reply to the owner to his comment after my review. Hence adding a paragraph after my review by editing the post.The receptionists who called me several times, asking for my permission to enter the room we had reserved, clearly mentioned that the previous occupant had forgotten his/her laptop inside the safe of the room. The safe was locked with a code. We had an appointment hence we left the hotel immediately after check-in. All of a sudden now it turned out to be a medical emergency. A laptop forgotten inside a safe locked with a code only known to the previous occupant turns out to be medically important. Why did the hotel authority did not clean the room properly before handing it over to the next occupant. Why couldnt the authorities wait for our return to the hotel? Instead of being apologetic for your mistakes, finally the manager of the hotel called and threatened and entered the room in our absence and took out whatever belonging the previous occupant had forgotten inside the safe. Our holiday began with a series of harassing calls and ended with an unapologetic behavior from the highest authority of the hotel.

Comfortable bed and more quiet than other hotels in Berlin. Great location and view.Marked down for terrible WiFi (even the paid version), not enough irons so had to wait hours, air conditioning is weak so the room was too hot.

In the first room I found mold in the shower but i got a new one and it is much better. What i was really surprised to discover is that a 4 star hotel doesnt have air conditioning. I didnt even look to verify about that since i was sure that in such a level of hotels things like that just dont happen.

The location is really convenient, and the room was good. We were in the Collier suite, and it is truly unfortunate because it is a room without a window (which is fine, and we knew that); however, not having functioning air conditioning is the reason for the rating.No matter how many times I talked with the service desk, nothing has been fixed. Literally no air circulation in the room. And that is why this rating is unfortunate, because I normally wait till after my stays to do my reviews.

Very nice hotel, great view and food. Love the bathroom. The breakfast was great.One thing i did not like it was bad air conditioning.We lived in 35 floor.

Really nice hotel for staying in central Berlin. Had a room with a view of the city and it was truly an amazing view! No need to pay for any viewing places, just stay in the room! Service was good and they even helped us check in earlier when we were early. Breakfast was nice and had the restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere. Amazing coffee for breakfast!
