Parcul Plumbuita - Park and Garden in Slobozia, Romania
Good place to bring your kids. New playgrounds, beautiful views.
There are two parks: Plumbuita I and Plumbuita II, but they are alike)))There is no rubber path for running, but it is a good two-lane road along the bank of the lakes without any cars! Many playgrounds for children, a lot of shades(thanks to old big trees), WC, taps with fresh water.
Superb!
Nice place and cozy environment
Super ok!
Very cool
Good place for running in the morning.
[visited in 2020] nice park, beautiful lake with lots of birds. Not too crowded.
Nice park, needs some repairs and more cleaning.
Peaceful and very beautiful in the summer
Ok
Quiet and beautiful it’s good for walking and taking rest time away from the hustle and bustle of the city
Decent park for getting out with the kids. It will be great if there will be some investments in this park. Its a medium size park, you will walk it entirely in about 1h. There are few playgrounds and the alleys are as clean as it can be for this neighborhood.
A place of contrasts. First time in 35 years visiting this place as a native of Bucharest. Is an interesting experience, you gotta find out on your own
Its a very big and nice park, it has so many distractions there and a lot of things to do. Plus, the gigantic lake is a nice add-on
Sanitized and safe, not too crowded, great views
Playgrounds need to be fixed and modernized. There is no proper access for strollers and wheelchairs at the entry from the Dna. Ghica crossroad.
If you ignore the bad will of homeless people who on their own will trow from garbage bins staff it is a nice sunset location
The area is not too clean, some dodgy people around but worth give it a try, for a sunset and to see loads of migrating birds gathered on the lake. Also, Ghica Tei Palace its neighbouring this park. Built in 1822 by the ruler G. D. Ghica, in a neo-classical Italian style, Ghica Palace was originally the summer residence of the voivode.
Not many people take care of this park unfortunately, the reason I am giving 4 stars its because of its untouched potential.
Lack of maintainanceBig nice park with lake
Great park not crowded and nice tracks for running. Good playgrounds for kids, lake is clean.
Beautiful park near the edge of Bucharest, with a small river that flows into one of the biggest lakes of Romanias capital.
Nice park, loved the decorations, bridges, landscape architecture, mostly the statue on the lake, guess is an metal masterpiece of the artist Lucaci. Same style as the ones I saw in Braila and also on the National Theater. Was so late, dark so I will visit also on daytime to see that stunning piece of art. Nice, quiet and I saw it with the fresh snow, was a nice quality time spent there.
Beautiful park. Not so crowded. The white swans are the attraction of it. I enjoy walking in this park
very good place if you want to jog or exercise or even you are going with your family
It got better in the last years, but the most beautiful part around the lake is left dirty and without tarmac. It has an old water spring at the Ghika Church about which people say it heals all illnesses. A free football field with artificial grass and a free basketball field are available. Ping pong tables were demolished by who knows what stupid guy from the city hall. We love ping pong.
Beautiful by the lake, few kids park, multicultural enviroment. Some events happening regularly.
The park is amazing! I spent a good part of my childhood here. A monastery with a fresh water source where people come to drink it. The park is pretty big and lots of things to do.The bad part is that theres a little village full of gypsies near the park and they are trouble makers. They litter, pick on kids bullying them they are pretty racists against Romanians or white people in general. The good part is they usually crawl out from their hell hole after when the night is coming. The night is dark and full of terrors and should be avoided at all costs @ this park. But during the day its awesome when there are no gypsies around and only happy people and kids. I would rate this 5* if not for the gypsies.
Its a very beautiful park. Lakes, many types of plants and trees, perfect for artistic photography.
Nice place to walk on a weekend.
"A nice quiet place"Good for bikers. Also you can find here a water spring.
In city walking Park, beautifull aleys, lots of fun areas for children And Nice sitings for adults.
This is a nice and quiet park, has a lake and a monastry. Not many things to do or see, but its great for a quiet walk.
I might be biased since this is the park of my childhood, but it is...epic and it is...lyrical. 2 lakes, a monastery, a holy fountain, huge open space with trees and grass, places for time alone and places for social time, playgrounds, an island, a bridge and so many other little secrets.
I live in the nearby of this lovely park.Unfortunatelly the mayor of the 2nd district organizes here many concerts with loud music forcing the residents to listen to this decadent show. Please stop this abbuse at once !
A little kind of Manhattan park but surrounded by communist era blocks of flats and where cleaning should be improved. It contains the old walls of the Plumbuita Monastery kind of spoiled by an iron bars modern fence but fascinating nonetheless. And beyond the houses an arch bridge to a small abandoned island. A little bit dangerous as the bridge fences were cut by iron scavengers. Entering from West, just behind the Ghica Palace Teo huge dogs playing areas, we enjoyed with our beloved furry friend #Olti or #Oltee. The lake surrounding the park is well populated with water birds but as the land may need some better cleaning and people around educational attendance not to throwing garbage in the lake.
The park of my childhood! In winter I used to snow sleigh, in summer I used to ride my bicycle here. Nice alleys, the lake is beautiful and the park is pretty large, there is a road that splits the park in two. There is always a McDonalds nearby and there are a lot of benches. It is pretty quiet.
Good potential, but still needs a lot of work for cleani n and improvement. Some occasional popular festivals and concerts are disgusting. The water fountain is very ugly and a danger for the public health because of the huge amount of germs it is spraying in the air.
Nice place for wlaks in the east part of Bucharest, a lots of places for kids to play safe from the noise of the city
They recently painted some trees with red, yellow green, blue and violet and it makes that area of the park more vibrant and cheerful! I love it!
A huge park, roughly the size of Hyde park in London. The trees and bushes are only half trimmed and when its hot, the stench around the lake is unbearable. Especially in the evenings. Smalls like a swamp.
Beautiful lake. If you go there, you should also visit Plimbuita Monastery (historical place)
Lot of green spaces but ill maintained and do not even think about picnicking there : the insects will eat you alive... Only few playgrounds and too crowded
Very nice place, a lot of green and the beautifull lake, i am quite sad for the fact that the citty hall is neglecting the lake
Ok park. its quite bit and many playgroups. Not so well taken care of though and surrounded by high traffic area.
Wonderful garden, I walked around every day in order to reach el-Kods mosque, every second spent there is a huge pleasure,
Ok place
Nice big open spaces, not the cleanest but still very nice and the Plumbuita Monastery is very much worth visiting!
Fantastic parc, there are possible efforts to be made to restore its former glory. Huge potential uneploited. In the past the lake used to have boats, people were swimming, all of it its lost.
