Relaxed venue dishing up German, Thai & Indian standards like spaetzle, green curry & vindaloo.
Pathetic place. Extremely overpriced for the food quality, quantity and taste. Trust me you can cook better food than their chef, Totally disappointed. we travelled all the way from Kamloops for dinner. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Especially if you are looking for an Indian food. I wish, I could give them zero star.
5-stars UPDATE; much much better service now and as always tasty food. Thanks Goldie for the great job and your tasty specials👍4-stars: I did really like the idea of the fusion. Loved the mix of flavors in the butter chicken schnitzel with spaetzle. The mango lassi was also tasty. I wished to give 5 stars but, two things that could improve. First, I wasnt greeted/acknowledged for about 10 minutes at the counter! a quick "hi well be with you" could make a big difference. Second, the spaetzle was served cold underneath the chicken schnitzel. I know it could be tricky to ensure the dish is presented perfectly in a busy restaurant but, I do really applaud this awesome dish! Good job 👏 👍
Only the Germans can come up with schnitzel butter chicken. Its genius. But if you dont know what naan is, or how to make it, maybe you shouldnt put in on the menu ;)
Dont come if your expecting Indian cuisine! Cant speak for the German/Thai side but the Indian food isnt it. The "naan" is fried, not cooked in a tandoor. This was the most expensive butter chicken Ive ever purchased and had next to no flavour. The tomato soup was great though...but it had more flavour than the butter chicken which was disappointing.
Third time ordering here, and it is officially the last. The order was incorrect, missing items plus the cheese spatzle didt have any cheese on it. Paid NINE DOLLARS for a cup of dry, flavourless pasta. There are way better restaurants in town-go there.
Absolutely the best restaurant we have been to this year. The food was great and well definitely will be back.
This place is a heaven on earth for me seriously. The lady I guess, Pam not quite sure about her name, cooks really well just like mom ☺️ in fact better I should say. I love the way she cooks homemade kind food, full of taste & love. I visit Revelstoke once 3months ago and thankfully I choose this place to eat. I ordered Dal makhani with twa roti and the mixed flour roti was too good. Me & my husband we ate almost 2 meals at the same time 😌 but it was worth. Hope I can go back soon and visit Paramjits kitchen ❤️
We always enjoy our food at Pams. Whether you eat in or take it home, the attention to detail is clear in every dish!
We tried Indian and Thai food and it was fantastic. The Indian food felt like home food. For revelstoke, that is a huge win. Keep at it and dont change anything
Great Indian/South Asian cuisine in Unexpected place. Revelstoke is a small town....and finding an Indian cuisine restaurant in small town is a rare. We took this chance in August 2022....and were not disappointed. We tried paneer gravies, naan and tofu....and everything was delicious. Full stars for quality of food. The restaurant was really busy. If you are around this restaurant, do try to have a small walk around the Revelstoke downtown. Its a nice tinsel town. Would definitely return to this restaurant if I am visiting Revelstoke again.
I wish i could give them a 0 star for the service. I know one time people forget to take the order but when it happens again after waiting for 45 minutes for food and get to know they have forgot your order. Does not even apologize. Disgusting!!
The portion size is ridiculously small but the price is so high, not worth your time. They say they serve Indian food but no Indian flavor, and was really disappointed. Usually, the amount of food you get at a regular Indian restaurant is enough for two people and its equivalent to the price of one dish at this restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone that actually knows what Indian food is. This is the only Indian restaurant in Revelstoke so most of the people dont even know what they are missing. If I could I would not give them a one star review but a negative star review
Its okay if you are non punjabi its too sweet more like its a can food with lil touch of spice
I wish I can give them zero stars, absolutely zero service. Servers have no idea what they are doing. Big disappointment. Save your money and go some where else.
from the moment we entered until we get the food took 45 minutes while we told them we are on rushHairAlert, the staff in the kitchen are not covering their hair and guess what could be the outcomethe food was good but that finding inside the food was unforgettable
What a nice surprise to find an Indian German fusion restaurant! I had German schnitzel and my wife had Indian curry. Both were excellent. Very clean premises and friendly staff.
Excellent food! Poor service.I was excited about this place being a German who loves Indian and Thai food! Paneer excellent! Would have enjoyed the food much more if I wasnt so disappointed by the service! Note: Review based on a summer Friday night. Do not eat here if you are looking for a quick dinner stop off the highway. Water never got refilled once. Not once did someone stop and say how youre doing and if everything is ok. For every restaurant meal there were 3-4 takeout meals assembled. Took forever for the food to come! (and then they had the wrong item for one person). No prioritizing of eat-in guests. Oh, I did try to call ahead to pre-order but couldnt get through!!! They need to decide if they are a restaurant or a cafe/ fast food place. Id be good paying less for a cafe. Or they should just go takeout.
Great restaurant where indian and german cuisines are mixed. We ordered the goat curry, chicken pad thaï and butter chicken. They were delicious. My kids had mango lassi and they told me it was awesome. Great find in Revelstoke. Staff was efficient and polite. Will come back next time we are in town.
Comfortable atmosphere, and good food. The Chicken Schnitzel was fantastic and tender, the spaetzle was good and fresh. My wife really enjoyed the Pad Thai, and my Bratwurst was good too.
In whole Revelstoke this comes up on top search as the Indian kitchen and honestly its a fusion restaurant so they should change the name to something more relatable. Coming to the food the portions are small. We had butter chicken and naan and tandoori chicken. Naan cant be called naan honestly. Looked liked thick wheat flour dough and tasted the same. And I bet they dont have a tandoor in their kitchen as the naan and tandoori chicken were the farthest from tandoor cooked. And after all this its pricey for the taste of food they serve. Service is also below average. Had to go to the counter to ask for salt the staff said bringing it and even after 10 minutes she didnt. On asking again she said she forgot. Expecting better. Really disappointed!
We tried Indian food at this location. Staff was amazing and food was good. Our friends and kids too enjoyed the food. It was a busy place.
Food is not great and price to quantity does not match. Wait time is more. I would not recommend this place when u want to spend time with your friends and family
This is such an adorable place. Who would have thought to make German and Indian restaurant. Just so cute.My boyfriend and I order some of their German food and some of their Indian food. And both of us agreed that the Indian food was much better. Spätzle was burnt and not enough flavor in goulash. But the Curry is to die for. Will definitely come back! Thank you for everything.
I liked the place but wish I had gotten Indian instead of German here. The pork schnitzel was pretty bland, could have used some red sauce or something.Staff were friendly and the place was clean.
Pathetic service. The staff is only focused on online orders. I had to wait for 50 mins to get saag paneer, roti & Daal tarka. The quantity of food is very less. After all this, they didnt bother to serve cutlery. Had to wait another 5 mins to get a plate. Daal tarka was good rest food was average. Wouldnt recommend to waste your time here. After all this pathetic experience the staff was not even apologetic about the service.
Wasnt expecting such amazing Indian food in Revelstoke. Big portions. Courteous staff. Amazing taste. Highly recommend!
Interesting fusion with German and Indian cuisine.Chicken masala pad thai was a safe choice and didn’t surprise us, however Butter Chicken Schnitzel Spaetzle was so tender and juicy, curry sauce added more flavor in it!
Staff is incredibly friendly, food is delightful. Honey Lemon Ginger Tea was just right after a blustery ski day. Our kids love the fresh made pompadons, and Mango Chutney. Goat was very tender and excellent flavor. Pad Thai, cauliflower curry, and German cheese and bacon spazle were great as well! They handled a busy take out crowd and also kept attentive to our needs. The atmosphere is casual, and the helpings are generous. Great value.
We stop here every time we come to Revelstoke (for takeout). Absolutely delicious!! It has not disappointed. Love the fusion options and the Indian vegetarian curries. Highly recommend!
Absolutely fantastic fusion of flavors. We were stranded in Revelstoke due to an avalanche and having dinner at Paramjit’s kitchen made everything better! The food was fresh and tasty, and everything came quick and hot. The chai tasted authentic and nothing was over spiced.
Amazing food, 6 of us all had fantastic meals. The pad Thai with schnitzel was fantastic as was the butter chicken schnitzel with spaetzle, and the goat curry. Definitely recommend the bratwurst wontons and poppadoms for an appetizer. Definitely finish off the meal with the most amazing chocolate mouse cake. Don’t know how anyone can’t give this place 5 stars.
Was really interested to try this Indian x German fusion. Tried all three of these dishes and thoroughly enjoyed them. I feel like the Schnitzel is better bang for your buck but was still happy with the curry goat. Only downside was it took longer than expected to receive our food after ordering.Would definitely eat here again.
Great food! We tried a bunch of the Indian options available and everything was great. I love that everything tastes more homemade and lighter/fresher than typical Indian restaurants. The Coconut Prawn Curry and Curry Chicken and Tandoori Chicken were favourites.
Really disappointed with the takeout packaging at this place - 20$ worth of green curry down that proverbial drain / into our 10cent plastic bag. When our order was packed the foil rim on the packaging wasn’t closed properly on one side and the contents of the curry ended up spilling everywhere on our drive home.Leaving two stars because what little food we had left did taste pretty good - but frustrated at the carelessness in packaging a take out order
Delicious food with amazing friendly staff! Ive never left this place without a smile! Such an interesting fusion of quality Indian, German and Thai food. My personal favourite is the butter chicken schnitzel with spaetzle, sooo good! The daily soup is always great as well, and two flavours of delicious fresh pressed juice available too
A friend brought me and I will definitely come back! Really good food, vegetarian samosas are delicious, I ordered Shahi paneer that was really tasty! Also friendly service :)
If you are doing a road trip to Banff and plan to stop by Revelstoke, then you must visit this place! It was such an amazing fusion of German and India food from a well trained chef. Her Indian food will make you feel at home
We stopped in town for the night and decided to try the restaurant. Ordered Pad Thai, Daal, and Goat curry. All were quite favour full . Wife also liked the Pakoras. Goat was tender with the right degree of spicy ness
Theres something so unique about this place. Absolutely creative! My favorite curry when I visited India was navratan korma and have been looking for someone who can make it like how tasted there since then. This is the closest its come!
DO NOT EAT HERE!This is NOT Authentic Indian FoodI’m Indian - you cannot fool me. I know what Indian food tastes like.I ordered Butter Chicken and Tandoori Chicken when I was in revelstoke. It tasted as if Butter chicken sauce was made using a tomato soup base! TASTED AWFUL!Tandoori chicken wasn’t dry for some reason. If looked like they marinated the Chicken once again after cooking it. Moreover it was UNDERCOOKED!I will never ever go there again!
Wow. Im totally blown away by the unique fusion experience. Not every fusion restaurant gets it right but Paramjits Kitchen is a fine example of when the fusion experience brought the best of both cultures out in stunning flavours. I had the butter chicken spätzle and it was amazing. Who wouldve thought the flavourful butter chicken would go so well with the German spätzle? Ive recommended this place to all my friends and family and I hope I could come up soon and try the other fusion dishes this place has to offer. What a hidden gem. A must try if youre anywhere around interior BC. The waitress was also super nice and welcoming. Cant wait to come back.
Great food and service. The best schnitzel I have had in Canada! The Indian dishes are good quality but are tailored more for folks who dont eat Indian often. I recommend the schnitzel with butter chicken sauce. There was a fun special when we went that had a small portion of 5 different curries. Check out the picture!
When one hears that the menu is German and Indian fusion, you have to wonder how this happened. I spoke with the Chef/owner and she said that she is a professionally trained Chef from Austria. The Indian food was from home cooking. Look at the menu and youll find Thai food as well.We had a party of five and everyone loved the food. I had the chicken Pad Thai and it was delicious. I had to try the fusion as well and had the "deep fried bratwurst wonton". I couldnt stop eating the wontons! Two in the party had the Schnitzel and one of them said it was better than the Schnitzel that he had in Germany. Saag Paneer and one of the curries were excellent. Naan bread was excellent. The place was jumping the night we were there and the staff was stretched to keep up with the pace, even with the chef jumping in to help. The prices were reasonable considering that the quality of the food was first class.
This place was awesome! Im not really that into Indian food. But thats OK, they have great German food and Thai food here! Odd combination but the German food was amazing. The spaetzle were like little German dumplings that fell from heaven! Everyone had something different at the table and everyone said their meal was fantastic. Service was prompt and friendly. Cant wait to come back!
On the spur of the moment we decided to have dinner at Paramjit’s Kitchen even though it was full inside. We found a table out on the street corner and were given good service by a German lady. We ordered Aloo Gobi masala (Potato Cauliflower gravywith Naan (Indian bread), and a Dahi Pakora Curry (Fritters in Yogurt currywith Rice. It tasted almost like our home food back in India. The food and the music brought back memories from home. Prices were very reasonable. We complimented the Indian hosts after our meal.
Pretty satisfied with the Vegan Tofu Pad Thai and the delicious Vegan Coconut Green Curry that we tried there. It is a place that we will for sure return and recommend others when they come to Revelstoke. Service was also very kind and you can see all the food preparation on the kitchen via the glass to outdoor and the open concept in the restaurant.I wish the team and owner the best success.
The food here was surprisingly delicious. Dont let the initial look fool you. Warm and friendly service, great prices for the quantity, and the food... So good! Get the appy, definitely worth it
Great place for food in Revelstoke! This place was bustling with people and they were so accommodating to try and get everyone in from the cold. There food was delicious, we only tried the Indian - YUM. Tali plate was on special and it was a nice way to get a taste of everything. Very friendly servers and owners!
A small unique international blend of East Indian German and Asian. A clean quaint relaxing atmosphere for Revelstoke. The food and coffee are superb. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. This spot is a must try when in Revelstoke. Good for a quick bite or a romantic dinner. Either way your taste buds will thank you. All the that was missing was chopsticks. Absolutely loved it.
What a lovely little place! Im of German background and my partners South Asian, so we had to try this. Very interesting combo! The food took some time, but it was very fresh and delicious. Fairly authentic as well, though its definitely white people level of spice. We mentioned it to the owner and she was very understanding, and gave us some extra chilies. Given the clientele, its understandable theyd make it less spicy. Still, the food was very flavourful. A little expensive for South Asian food, but worth it for the experience. Very lovely staff as well! Great drinks too. I hope to come again next time Im in town!
