Paradosiako in Larnaca

Maybe we went on an off night judging by other positive reviews but we had a very poor experience with the food here a week ago. We ordered swordfish and fish fillet. Both were unmistakably frozen - swordfish had an overly “fishy” smell and taste like it was off and the fish fillet was basically fried fish nuggets which were very watery inside and greasy. I rarely leave bad reviews but on this occasion we were so disappointed by our dinner - we ate almost nothing of it.I would say however the service was good - friendly waitress.

The sea food is well cooked, well presented, others dishes as well. The fish was fresh and cooked as we asked. The personal is very careful with clients needs. They offered from the house two portions of desert for each of us. The food worth the money.

Place is ok and service is ok. Prices a bit high for what you get. Grilled octopus was tasteless and rubbery. Maybe we were unlucky. Small sardine fish were not tasty (frozen). Starters good.

Nice location, friendly staff, decent prices, good greek(villagesalad, the grilled octopus could have been much batter and the saganaki prawns were nothing special.

Beautiful view, great staff, we took a plate for 30€ and got starter, main meal and dessert. All of it was great and prices in general are much cheaper then other places around. I would recommend.

Very average fish tavern, fish meze more than half the items were frozen and deep fried! We even had crab fritters you find in children s parties! The fresh fish was good

The seafood was delicious! We had grilled octopus and mussels. The staff was very friendly and smiled all the time! The atmosphere was great! It was quiet and we could enjoy our conversation. The house wine was very good too!

Not recommended for meze!!! 2 stars only for location and the tsipoura(the cheapest fishdon’t call it meze if you put these kind of things in the set please!!

I visited today for lunch for the first time and was greatly disappointed. I understand because of the day they were overwhelmed by people etc but that doesnt excuse the fact that everything served was cold and did not taste fresh. The only decent thing was the cod which is frozen. On top of that they charged a bottle of wine for 25 euros which you buy at a superstore for 5. Highly do not recommend

I tried this place because of the favourable review. Don’t be misled. It’s awful. Cheap furniture, cheap decor, cheap fittings in the toilets, cheapo doors, cheap everything, and VERY average (at bestfood, poor service. I was shocked that anyone would think this is ‘good’. In their defence, perhaps the people who gave this place a ‘good’ review are very inexperienced (this is, after all, a rather ‘low rent’ mass tourism beachfrontbut this is a COUNTRY MILE away from a good fish restaurant, and no one could reasonably believe it such unless they had never been to one. I ordered hummus, a mixed salad, flat bread and garlic mussels with a glas of house white (not too bad). The hummus arrived with cheap white bread, toasted, and the flat bread that I insisted on took so long to come that the mussels were delivered before I could eat my starter. The garlic sauce served with the mussels had congealed by the time I had eaten my starter. The mixed salad was mediocre, at best. I had to ask for olive oil ‘it’s already on the salad’ I was told by the inept waitress; I asked for some, anyway. The cheap, watery olive oil (in a country producing fabulous olive oil!that arrived is what you would expect in an cheap and indifferent restaurant. Which, to be fair, this is. Well, indifferent, at least. The manager (lord, I hope it wasn’t the ownersat down at the table next to me with a noisy friend and they proceeded to get drunk on Chivas Regal (yes, it’s that type of place), at lunch time! The two of them cackling and laughing like idiots. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere. Really terrible.

I came at 4pm, there were a lot of guests. I understand, nice stuff. But maybe not order the prawn pasta, too much cheese. But ok not too worst, maybe the grilled fish and prawn etc or something else. Good free dessert.

Average, not too expensive. Suggestion for the owner: please remove the boiled frozen veggies and frozen French fries as side dish.. Either you serve those with fresh quality or better not to serve them. It kills the rest of the food.

Food was delicious! Highlight: Best grilled octopus we’ve had the last month on the coast. Family friendly.

If you really want to taste and experience all the charm of Mediterranean seafood, then you will definitely love this authentic Greek .. sorry - Cypriot restaurant. a truly national home color is brought to the level of a decent quality institution. At the same time, if we talk about prices, you will be pleasantly surprised. But I still want to focus on the taste and kindness of the atmosphere. A touching touch was the compliment from the establishment - a simple and neutrally excellent dessert, which was not ignored by my friend, Bill, who is wary of sweets. Excellent - meets the spirit of Cyprus.

A very good fish meze. They have the best fish in Cyprus. Always nice to go there. Nice see wiew. I really recomend this restaurant.

Great place to visit in Larnaka! Good quality, diviersified elements of fish meze. Very nice service, view on a sea. As a desert delicious cake and sweet cats as companions!

The food was tasty but simple.If you take meze for two you got a lot of different dishes for a good price.

If youre looking for a fish dinner in front of the sea, this restaurant is perfect. Just the wine wasnt great, but were spend 40€ in two, eating starters and first dishes that were really abundant

Nice place with nice staff. The seafood salad was full of seafood with roasted bread and butter, it was extraordinary. That is why I still cannot understand the desert. I ordered fruit salad which was couple slides of watermelon. At the desert I got complimentary cake, that was much more better than the fruit. Overall I had a nice time there.

The food wasn’t tasty, very disappointed. I ordered the grilled octopus, it was over cooked and bland. My suspicion is that is also was not fresh. In addition, they served it with soggy French fries and BOILED frozen vegetables. Service is also slow but expected for an island.

Before lockdown good quality fish meze. After reopening quality not so good - very average - have been going for years but not so sure if we will visit again!

Nice sea view and service. We were here two times during our stay in Larnaca. The prices are not high and we had really tasty and fresh seafood.

Service was efficient and fast and was accompanied by a smile.Quality of the food was fantastic.Quantity of the food was even more amazing. We went for the cheapest seafood platter, less than 20 euros, and I started wondering if I had misread the menu and it was that price each. It wasnt.For around twenty five euros we got a beer, water and as much food as we could eat and the view over the sea is amazing too.

2,9 starsAfter reading great reviews, I had a late lunch here. Service unsympathetic. Dishes reasonably priced. Octopus was fresh but lack taste. Grilled swordfish was dry and lack taste. Cauliflower and carrots from the freezer didnt save this dish.I think even three stars are too much for this restaurant.

Super delicious fish platers! Octopus in wine rules :Reasonable prices and big portions, extra friendly staff. clean inside superb. We even get free home made sweets with our coffee. I would give more stars if it would be possible ;))Highly recommended!

We ordered the platter #3 for 2 of us. First comes the salad with bread and spreads, this was the best part of the meal. The fish of the day was okay, the fries were soggy, not crispy. The garlic shrimp was delicious. Great views of the water and the staff were friendly and helpful. Was quiet for lunch time.

Wonderful and cosy place. Not too costly and it is worth it on a Clean Monday! Make sure you call ahead for reservation!👉🏻 Music needs a little fix. We heard Gangnam Style and Crazy Frog two times each before they noticed and changed it to Greek music 😂

We think that this is the best fish mese in the Larnaca area. Have the last 10 years, invited friends and customers to the restaurant. And everyone has always been very satisfied. Always high quality of the fish that is served.
