From Sunday roasts to late-night parties at bohemian, vintage-styled pub-restaurant with rooftop.
Delicious food, pork belly Sunday Roast is my favourite! Nice environment. But the best part is the service: Elisa is a great waitress :)
Tonight was an amazing experience with Omer and Federica. They gave some awesome recommendations and really looked after us. Could not praise them more. Discovered a new gin and rum tonight thanks to them. 5/5
Wow this is absolutely brilliant building if you love the Victorian ornate style. The building has an amazing history too. Food and drink is really good quality. A little more expensive but worth it
We came for Sunday Roast Dinner, the food was tasty and staff were friendly. However I was disappointed with the portions of meat in the "Three meat roast". One small slice of beef, half a chicken breast and a bit of pork. Compared to my partner who just had the roast chicken, you get less than a 3rd of the standard roast and have to pay £6 more which doesnt make any sense.
Not impressed. Overpriced food, that came luke warm. Staff was rude and rolled eyes when we asked for a manager.
An amazing place, I loved the décor and atmosphere. The staff are so cheerful and polite... And the food is sooo good.
Visited on a Sunday evening and the team was accommodating and able to book a spot for two last minute. Ordered a Sunday roast which was tasty and included all the trimmings. The Swede arrived cold but the waiters were quick to rectify the issue. A loss of a star as some of the waiters were more experienced than others and I would of preferred if there was one waiter serving the table as opposed to multiple. Overall, good dining experience.
Beautiful place, nice music and the atmosphere amazing. Birthday party of my friend the staff was very warm polite and helpful 🙂
First time out in many yrs and from the moment I came to the moment we left it was FUN and lively. Great bar service, liked the deco very much and the dance floor was packed and music was pumping. Great experience all around.
We hired a room here for an event and everything was exceptional from start to finish. Food and drink was great, venue superb and staff wonderful
6 of us Went here for bottomless brunch on Saturday. This was our 2nd time, although the first time was not very well organised, this time turned it around for us. The food was very good and the cocktails were amazing too. Fabulous service from the team, in particular Eliza was wonderful! Nothing was too much for her, and her customer service was very much appreciated by all of us.
Mu husband & I had dinner & drinks last night(17/09). The food & service was excellent. Loved the atmosphere & decor. We will definitely be back. Thank you😊
Great service by Raphael. The roast was amazing best one so far in 2022! Definitely will be back
If you are looking for somewhere to have a fantastic roast, click no further (except to make your reservation ;-Always a lovely vibe for all & family friendly. Exceptional service and a good chat from Raphael - just the kind of place you want to spend with loved ones on a sunday!
Came for sunday lunch with my family and was hosted by Raphael and Fede 5* service throughout the entire meal constantly going above and beyond to cater to our many needs .. I will definitely be making the hour trip across london again
A little on the expensive side, £35 for 4 drinksBut great staff and clean area to sit.Nice placeThanks guys for a good evening
Hosted my birthday recently at a private room in Paradise, was a fantastic experience! Great hosts and an amazing atmosphere!
Great place to enjoy a Sunday Roast. We are a Swiss family of four, on a short stay in London, and had a great time at this restaurant. Definitely the better choice than one of the tourist traps in the city centre. Portobello market isn‘t far away, so we combined these two activities.
Had rented out the conservatory and dining room as part of an engagement celebration; and the delivery by Kensal Green superseded any expectations I had. Aklima, who oversees events was fabulous in helping coordinate everything, getting the menu sorted, and accommodating any special needs we had.On the day, the service was phenomenal. Every dish came out on time, without any errors, and the food was great!Highly commend Raf, who was managing the bar and the food orders as well. He was constantly running back and forth, but always was there to help and with a smile on his face as well.I cannot thank Kensal Green enough, and highly recommend the venue to anyone wishing to thoroughly enjoy a great dining experience.
Great pub. arrived late so paid entry, but good music and all drinks available at good prices for what the competition is changing
Beautiful decor. Good atmosphere. Great staff. Delicious food. Really enjoyed the evening
Brilliant staff mostlyGreat BBQ . The guy was great executing the BBQ and cleanly to delivered vegan alternative , which I endulged in, Im not a big fan of the plant food, I had a bit, but I havent ate meat since I was 18,, soIT was differentAnyway, they had great DJs, got the crowd goinOld school tipAll good 😊😊
We love it here. Gorgeous decor, big friendly spaces, delicious food with lovely vegetarian options, such lovely service. And they accommodated a big group booking including a toddler and a baby so, so well. Will be coming back. xx
What a lovely experience! The food was amazing, the staff were equally amazing and the venue is stunning!!! I would recommend to everyone. X
A beautiful restaurant and staff not to be missed! We stumbled across this beauty on our first night in London and came back for a second. The staff were the most friendly and along with the decor and food are 5star 🤩
Nice enough place but the cocktails are too sweet. They were going to put 25ml of sugar syrup into my espresso martini which is way too much
Really gorgeous pub with a great vibe. Garden is super cosy. Place to meet locals. Staff is really friendly and efficient but in the three times I was there recently it took ages to get a drink.
We had Sunday lunch there today. The 3 meat roast was phenomenal. The biggest Yorkshire puddings I have ever seen, and best cooked pork belly ever. The place was very busy but there were enough staff to still be very attentive, never had to wait for drinks and food was fairly quick too. We will definitely be back. I would recommend wholeheartedly.
A very pleasant evening. Food very good. Lovely cocktails. Would defo go there again. Music r&b on point.
Great dinning experience, I had the roast lamb was amazing the meat was falling off the bone and melted in my mouth like butter. My partner had the roast pork it was well cooked and the crackling was delicious. The service was excellent the host was very kind and the staff super friendly, I cant fault a single thing, a lovely dinning experience definitely a must try.
Excellent venue for a small intimate wedding. Everything was handled well, from the bar to the food to the service. The staff made sure that our private area was always neat and clean. The food was exceptional. I had the lamb shank from a set menu, it was rich flavourful and well cooked.Later in the night the venue turns into a bit of a club, but this was separate from our private room.Overall a great experience and will return.
First time at the paradise great atmosphere. The food and drinks are excellent.Thank you to the waitress Lamoure making us feel welcome!!Highly recommend this place.
5 star service. 5 star food. 5 star vibe. The gnocchi and banana cheese cake were amazing. Can highly recommend. Can’t wait to try a Sunday Roast here.
Have been here for brunch and dinner. Both occasions were great. Lots to choose from and really nice atmosphere.
Nice vibes. Went Saturday early before door entry fee. Stayed until 10pm in the bar. Apparently changes to club later. Mixed crowd mainly 30+. Music fits the with vibes. Restaurant looks decent.
Other than saying yes at the registry the best decision of the day was having our reception Dinner and celebration all in house @paradise By way of Kensal Green. The bar was set high and was met every step of the way. Staff (especially Christina who coordinated the day with us from beginning to endwe cannot thank you enough. All our guest loved the venue and called it an unexpected spectacular venue.
Closed early, bouncer was exceptionally rude. Arrived around midnight, closed at 1:20, charged £7 entry. Not what it was pre-pandemic, shame.
Because of its reputation for Sunday Service, people come from hundreds of miles and other countries to fight for tables that have been accidentally double-booked.Plate after plate of their famous Sunday roasts deliver a consistently high standard of look, smell and most importantly, taste. The Island Experiment was one of the most important open mike nights in all of London. Created originally in W10 by a current member of Nick Caves Bad Seeds, it moved to the Island bar and restaurant in College Rd before its 5-year residency at Paradise.Friday and Saturday nights can only be recommended if you cant afford the West End and you dont mind Ms Dynamite being a DJ. Other DJs are available.
Been to Paradise a few times and we were always very impressed by the food. We came back on Saturday for the first time since lockdown and they really didn’t disappoint. Lively atmosphere despite social distancing measures but more importantly the food is even better than before, delicious and well presented. Hope you expand the cocktail menu soon :Welcome back, Paradise!
Lovely food. We came here as a group for a birthday. There’s a great atmosphere kind of mix between restaurant bar and club. The staff are super friendly. I’ve been here several times, sometimes for food, sometimes for drinks. A great experience each time. Recommended...
Great venue with lots of rooms. Available for hire, private functions, live gigs and parties.Nice friendly staff that are very helpful. Big thanks to Christina and the crew for our Don Papa showcase.I will be back!
One of my favourite places in London for a Sunday roast. The pork belly is my favourite but the beef was decent too. There is always service with a smile and the dining room is so beautiful. It’s also fun on a Friday night for some drinks and a boogie. They also have the best sticky date pudding I’ve ever tried in London.
We went for a Sunday roast. It was nice, good beef but the roast potatoes were hard and unpleasant. The gravy was also too loose. Nice bar and good service.
I went with a group of 10 people as it was suggested from the ladies(Chants and Lewis Salona few doors down from paradise. What a great recommendation! The great thing about this place is you have a 3 in 1 situation, a pub/club/restaurant. A designated smoking area. The interior is beautiful and this place has a nice atmosphere. Great music on both floors so you have options if you are feeling the music from the other dj just go to that room. The food was decent not cheap and not too expensive either. I also prefer going to places where the crowd is much more well behaved and out just for a good time which is what youll get here. Shoreditch is close to where I live and thats one place I avoid most times, even though Kensal Green is a little out of my way it is worth the trek! :will be coming back again!!!
Im from south London and have not been to a venue in this area before. Came here for lovely friends birthday. We were in a private room, could see the atmosphere was really live, the food was very good, ordered the clam chowder , sea bass & pear and honeycomb for dessert, I reccomend to stay for the club scene was a good night out
Being non-alcoholic, I asked for a mocktail. And with just one simple direction they have produced a beautiful drink. The barman who made the drink was very friendly and very chatty and made the experience niceFood wise, its not such a disaster, but its not fantastic either. My favourite is the pan-fried seabass on saffron risotto.Overall, for me, its a one-stop only
Food was OK. My lamb was quite fatty which was a little off putting. Menu was very restrictive but they managed to sort out the vegetarians with an off menu option. Staff were attentive but lacking in English speech so sometimes difficult to place orders. Good atmosphere with not over the top Christmas decorations. Will go back to sample their non Christmas menu.
I went to Paradise with a friend of mine to see How to solve a problem like murder, a wonderful immersive play happening in the second floor of the building. The place is stunning! The decoration is made of strange portraits and taxidermy. Its got quite a haunted atmosphere truth be told, but warm and inviting at the same time. I found it weirdly charming. I havent had the opportunity to try the restaurant yet but I do hope to come back for it!
We celebrated our friends birthday in there. All the staff were really friendly, the quality of the food were amazing. The place is really nice and different, it definitely worth to go back next time and try out their events during the weekends. In here, we all want to say thank you to Christina who showed us around and we all had a good time :)
What a beautiful place! Charming, religious-inspired decor everywhere, and its pretty large too. Food was excellent and the cocktail menu is a little short (only six to choose frombut at £9.50 each and 2-4-1 on Thursdays, we were happy enough with them. Will certainly return, I might even hold my birthday in the conservatory / function room upstairs...
