We had a great day out ,the reason for 4 stars, it was end of season, and some areas were closed off for end of season maintenance. We did a "sloth feeding experience" really interesting. Kids will love the animated dinosaurs

We had a very nice Sunday morning visiting this park. Is a place where you can learn about Jurassic period not just from movies but from true facts for paleontology and history of earth.

Having been to the majority of the zoos in the UK I can say this is one of my favourites. There is ample parking. There are plenty of options for food. The exhibits are really well put together. I would recommend a visit to everyone.

The tigers and lions were walking about and easy to view… lots of meerkats and small animals…. Rainy day visit so no red pandas or otters out! A nice place to spend a couple of hours.

A beautiful place to see living animals and those that once roamed the earth. I guess its ideal for families, but we (1 adult and 2 seniorsalso had a really good time.We came for the living animals that absolutely seem to be having a pleasant home here, but the big surprise were the dinosaurs. I wasnt expecting a lot from that part of the park, but its really cool and even a little scary in a few moments.Absolutely perfect to spend the day! Have fun!

Visited with a lovely friend, 101 years of age, for a birthday treat with her daughter. What a fabulous day we had. She had a feed the big cats experience and fed a tiger. A lovely extremely kind and knowledgeable keeper guided her through the experience beautifully. I cannot rate this experience high enough. All the staff polite and friendly. We spent all day enjoying the animals and a nice lunch. The dinosaurs were amazing too. Definitely will be back.

Paradise Wildlife park is perfectly named! It is a paradise! We have been coming here for years now (even had an annual pass when my son was youngersuch a beautiful zoo with so much more to offer!! Weekends can be a little busy so we love love visiting during the week and at non peak times of the year as we really get to enjoy the peaceful ‘paradise’ effect it has on us. The animals all look well cared for with great enclosures and enrichment, great places to eat and shop too!! They have a great Dinosaur section and young childrens play areas, whilst capturing the true essence of nature. A beautiful place for the family.

Visited sat 3rd September,( just 2 adultsdidnt arrive until around 2pm, paid at the entrance (even though it states on the website thats not possible and you have to book a day, if not 7 days in advance but Im assuming thats during peak school holiday season. was fairly busy there but not too over crowded, spent 3.5 hours there walking around. Managed to squeeze in everything, and seen a few talks and bird shows etc in that time too. Would definitely be a full day out with the kids, if they were playing on the parks and having food there etc. Had a great time there and highly recommend it.

This wildlife park is a really great local attraction. The animals are impressive, the play parks are fun, the dinosaur train was great and the stage shows are entertaining. We were lucky enough to see a choir performing there too! It was a great day out for my 2 year old.

A park thats split into several areas: the zoo, dinosaur world, swimming area and play area.Dinosaur world is really well done animatronics with some great signs and sandpit area. The zoo was "ok". I felt some of the enclosures were too small for the animals (European wolves, lions, snow leopard). There is a dinosaur Train which is good fun but its £2 per person which I think is too much when you consider the entry price.Food: several food outlets but they get really busy around lunch and the queue was around 20-30 mins. Youre not allowed to eat your own food inside the safari restaurant but there are elsewhere. Theres vegan /vegetarian options available.Ice cream stands /coffee spots around the parks which are good but it was quite slow moving.Plenty of picnic benches and places to sit.Playground is good, well maintained and set outToilets/baby change: could be better? They were very quickly dirty/ very wet and there were no kid sized toilets or sinks. In one toilet for the baby change there was a step up and meant it was really difficult to get a pram in.Suggestions:- bring swimming gear- bring coins (£1for some of the games- bring your own food/drinks

Took our granddaughter to see the dinosaurs and then a trip round the animals. This place is laid out well and all the animals we saw were in superb condition. The staff were very knowledgeable. The on-site food places are very reasonably priced. Overall My Family enjoyed our day and all said, we will return soon.Congratulations on the arrival of your new bears. ( see it on the local news.)Thank you all for our day. Well done.

BrillInt park, lovely and clean, all the attractions had enough space to see, missed seeing the tigers as their space was being reconstructed. There are plenty more attractions coming also. The lagoon area was great way to cool down after the day in the park little one loved it. Dino meet and great is great also, although the timing for it is very quick.

After seeing One zoo Three on cbbc we decided to take the nephew down, it was a lovely day, much cheaper then other Zoos and was easy to get too. Due to covid you must buy your tickets online before you arrive. The park was a little busy but didn’t bother us, there was lots too see and from the work ongoing even more to come. One of my few complains was it was difficult to find info on talks and feeding and there was little shade so be careful on the warmer summer days like when we went. There was the small splash park but it was absolutely heaving with people so we only dipped our feet and moved on!

They took away the alpacas!!! One of them died unfortunately, so they took the other one away so they wouldnt be lonely, which is understandable. Literally went to see them and it was my own fault for not confirming they were still there since I last went a few years ago. It was very busy, but it is summer and summer holidays after all. Loads of other animals there. Go see the goats because they looked lonely tbh!

Great place for kids and Adults .The dinosaurs are brilliant so realistic as they move and make sounds. So much to do and see there is a Zoo, Splash pool, mini golf, speedway museum, two lovely parks, Softplay, shows through the holidays, picnic areas, restaurant and snack shops and you must visit Neil on the dinosaur train. Just a brilliant day out well worth the visit. Plenty of parking

Absolutely fantastic place to visit, the only problem was there wasnt more to do and see. The Safari Diner was expensive, but well worth the price, the staff are friendly and extremely dedicated to what they do. It is a refreshing change to see the staff going around and cleaning after the animals. Arriving early is a must if you want to avoid crowds.

This is one of the best Zoos around, simple as that! For young children it’s brilliant, so clean and well maintained - plenty of things to see and do, plus the soft play and multiple play areas help to keep them entertained. The park is laid out in a way it always feels like an adventure. You turn a corner and suddenly there’s a massive monkey enclosure, or a big bird display area. The dinosaur adventure is fantastic too, combined with the train ride entertained the little ones for ages.My only criticism is the lion enclosure feels a little small .. we had an amazing view of 3 beautiful white lions but perhaps their enclosure could be bigger.I didn’t try the food, there’s plenty of places for picnics and I always find it easier bringing our own stuff. Will definitely coming back when the beat enclosure opens

Lovely family run wildlife park, with a great selection of animals to keep the family excited. They host a great bunch of monthly events, from dinosaurs to African drumming. Most recent was the African drumming presented by One Drum, a fantastic group of musicians from Ghana. My two nieces absolutely loved it and they love the park, they always get so excited when we go back.A real treat 😀 for all the family!!

We had a great day out, the dinosaurs were a real hit with our son, true to scale and ferocious. The wildlife park has a good array of animals with some that you can get a closer look at. The majority of the park is accessible to those with disabilities, as have viewing galleries up high, at lower levels and ramps to enter the looks. Good areas for picnics and food bought through stalls.

We took our 6 month old daughter for a day out. Lovely staff, very eager to teach you about the animals. Had a 1-1 tapir talk which was so interesting. Got up close to the owls during the bird talk. Half of the animal side was closed unfortunately but they are expanding and adding new animals which should be exciting in the future. I recommend going but it is definitely aimed more for children. It isn’t as big as most zoos either so it doesn’t take all day to walk around it

We visited the Paradise wildlife park to do a Tickle a Tapir experience. Its a lovely park. Lots of food places. Good exhibits and viewpoints for the enclosures. The experience was amazing. The keeper Joe was so friendly and very informative. It was lovely to meet Tim and Tamara the Tapirs. They were very content to be fussed over. The Tigers were active and one was even taking a dip in the pool which apparently is relatively rare.We didnt do the dinosaur walk but it looked really good. A great place to take children as there are lots of play parks etc.All staff we encountered were really friendly and welcoming.Highly recommend a visit if youre in the area.

Lots of fun and plenty to see for the children. Its worth making a full day of it. We attended the evening event which opened at 6.30 - 9.30. The little ones didnt want to leave. Food is expensive so pack snacks and drinks if youre on a budget. The staff are amazing. Had booked weeks in advance, unfortunately we had a rail strike to deal with on the Saturday, but got there and back onto London with ease. Will definitely go again.

Bought a Tiger Feeding experience from here and then spent the day. The experience itself was very good, the staff were knowledgeable and everyone was very friendly but for the price of it, felt it was over rather quickly!Spent the rest of the day here and enjoyed it - although it is very much designed for children. In fact half of the whole park is purposefully allocated to childrens activities etc.

This is a great day out, so much to do. Problem is if your with young children they will spend the whole time in the playground. We ended up getting a family membership 1 adult 1 child to save money and will be using it alot. Also a soft play in there, bring your our own packed lunch and its a very good and affordable day out.

This turned out to be a really enjoyable day out. The staff were very very friendly, the Keepers knew their animals and were happy to tell you about them. Nothing was too much trouble. The park was clean and kept clean the animals were wonderful and so enjoyable to watch. Id like to thank the young lady with the porcupines, forgive me I cant remember your name, and Dennis with the Lions. The Speedway museum is closed on Mondays ( the day I wentbut the young lady managed to ask somebody to open it especially for me to look in it, as I had gone to see it and also the animals. I recommend Paradise very, very highly, enjoyable day out, the staff are well trained and I cannot speak more highly of them. The food was good and reasonably priced, again with very happy to help staff. I came away very happy with my day out.

We were fortunate enough to visit our of school holiday time -the local schools had gone back after Easter. My family (children 4 and 6had a lovely time. The dinosaurs were excellent and are based on the Jurassic World ones which include some of the hybrids - which my son absolutely loved! It wasnt busy for us, but I imagine it can get quite busy as the place is rather compact. I wouldnt have enjoyed it had we had to queue up for everything. There is a lot of see and do and its easy to get round in the day. There is a splash area so if warm, children can get into their swimwear and have fun splash time. The soft play is good too.Take snacks and drinks because there arent that many places to get these things from.

Took my 4 year old grandson and we had such a good time, his face when he saw the dinosaurs was absolutely priceless. We will definitely be going back as we ran out of time, so missed a few things. We drove 2½ hours to get there and I have to say it really is value for money, Id have paid it just to see the lions. (My favourites)Staff were friendly, food and drinks not to over priced but the gift shop was very expensive, but then they always are.In my opinion if you or your little ones like dinosaurs, take a day trip to Paradise Wildlife Park, you really wont be disappointed. 🦖🦕🦖

The part itself was great, plenty to see, the dinosaur attraction is fantastic to. But the food left lots to be desired. 25 pound to get a chicken burger which arrived raw and I had to take it back for another which also came out raw, and a stone cold hamburger, not best pleased. But still enjoyed the rest of what paradise offered.

A fantastic place for families with young children. The dinosaurs are by far the best bit , especially for any Dino lover kids. Several nice play areas for younger children . The zoo part is nice and clean and the animals are well kept. Id say its a "mini zoo". If you dont have children its not worth the price you pay . But for families with children its a lovely place .The train ride is £2 each , under 2s free. You can park your pushchair up at it whilst you ride on. Some great opportunities to take photos throughout the park. The staff were all really nice and polite , I chatted with a few of them whilst we were there .Free parking which is a bonus !

Perfect for the kids! Us adults thought it was great too.... We did the evening event, had a great atmosphere as soon as we got through the entrance, lots of entertainment, bongo drums, bubbles, baby dinosaurs..... We done the dinosaur walk through first whilst it was still light and thought it was absolutely fantastic so we decided to go back through again once it was dark, honestly thought it would be better in the dark with the coloured lights, we were actually really underwhelmed as only certain parts seemed to be lit really well and other parts you could hardly see....... Overall it is a lovely day or evening out and Id definitely go back

A lovely park, all around a nice place to visit. It’s aimed towards families with younger children, but works well for all ages. There are lots of indoor and outdoor play areas, there is also play equipment that is disability friendly that you just don’t see enough of.The staff all seemed really friendly and knowledgable. We did the junior zoo keeper experience and our lovely guide (hancwas just wonderful. She was bubbly, friendly and seemed really genuine when talking to us. She was wonderful with my sister who is autistic. I would revisit just because of this. The animals all looked well cared for, with lovely enclosures. There is a lot of glass, so you never feel like you are pushing people to get a view into the spaces. But the animals also have enough private space to use.I plan to come back with other siblings :)It’s good to bear in mind that this site is totally cash less!

Great family day out. We managed to park quite easily. Pre-booked and queue to get in cleared quite quickly. It was busy but stupidly overcrowded. A lot to do for kids, soft play area where you can have coffee, lots of play areas covering the whole park, so kids won’t get bored quickly. The Dinosaur section was great the kids loved that, hopefully it goes on beyond Easter. The animals looked to be well cared for and no sign of stress from what we saw. Clean, bins everywhere so no need to go running looking for one that is spilling over. The place seems well run and well organised. I can only imagine come summertime it will get really busy, but with online booking only hopefully they can control numbers to make it enjoyable for everyone and still make a profit. Definitely recommend.

Took my nephew this weekend and had a really good time. I think it’s a tad expensive, the difference between adults and kids it’s not much, but in the end, you get what you pay for.If your kids like dinosaurs, it’s a cool place to come. Very life like, moving and large dinosaurs, wide variety. Train (additional costis quite cool (sit towards the back, fumes near the front).Animals are amazing as well, such a wide variety of all animals. Including tigers and lions - although a sad life for them.I’d recommend going. Bring your own food!

Lovely place. We came here for my sons birthday as we had seen the dinosaur videos uploaded in lockdown and thought it would be perfect for my dinosaur enthusiast son ! It was amazing as was the rest of the park. A great size for people with smaller children to go too as you can get around comfortably. The enclosures are well thought out and spacious for the animals which is something I feel strongly about. The only slight gripe was having to pay extra for the dinosaur train which really wasnt a long train ride for 1.50 pp. I feel that should be in the ticket price for the park x

Great place to visit with friends and family, lots of animals to see in generous enclosures and looking healthy and cared for. Interesting talks by the zoo keepers. Great walk through the dinosaur forest with moving animation making for a very interactive experience, brilliant for children. There’s plenty of places to buy snacks and drinks and take a seat. A big indoor soft play with ball pits snd slides is great for the little ones. Little splash park with fountains for the children to play in during the hot weather. Brilliant!

I booked a day here for my partners birthday yesterday. It was our first time going. I booked for myself, my partner and my daughter. There is ample parking, albeit some people genuinely dont know how to park! 😂 But we found a space in the overflow parking with little issue.I booked for my partner to do one of the experiences (Feed A Big Catas a birthday present which was amazing from start to finish. We were offered drinks on arrival and then we were walked to the lion enclosure by one of the keepers. He proceeded to talk us through the experience and tell us about the lions. My partner got very lucky because 3 of the 4 lions came over! And I was able to observe and take pictures and videos with no problem whatsoever. After the experience we explored the rest of the park and were happy with how many animals we saw and the conditions they were in. We got to the penguins just in time for their feeding so that was great to watch too! I would love to go back again once theyve finished their bear and leopard enclosures!
