Lovely food great staff relaxed place
Very tasty food. Best “Bacalao rebozado” I’ve ever ate. Very good service as well
MoreAwesome food. It’s worth the waiting (takes approx 30 min to be served)
Lovely food with a nice atmosphere.
Oh my lord... where to start! A couple of us had the misfortune to ‘nip’ into this place as part of a night out to Liverpool. And what a comedy of errors. The poor waiter kept apologising and in a fairness it was something worthy of being on Gordon Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares. 4 small tapas arrived 30 minutes after ordering , portions ‘minuscule’... we were served 4 tiny shrimps in a bowl of warm garlic olive oil, and instead of the Patatas Bravas... we were given a substitute of fried aubergine... well, there’s really not much difference is there, lol. Anyway, out salubrious snack cost £34, I kid you not. Just so awful it was funny! Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere !
MoreSuch a chilled out experience. Food was great and staff really helpful.People have to remember that manana is Spanish!!!So please dont go there expecting instant food!! Go there and enjoy the experience
MoreThe worst and funniest restaurant experience of my life. Was actually like Faulty Towers. If you fancy a restaurant experience where you dont actually get what you ordered then go ahead!
MoreWe regret we visited here without checking the review. It wasnt even worth 1 star. Horrible food, we could even hear microwave as there wasnt any other customer. Awful service, a waiter was also the "microwave" chef, so he refused to cook most of menu. We gently mentioned about the poor quality but he became aggressive. There was no way to stay here, we had to leave and go another restaurant. Really horrible experience in Liverpool.
MoreVery nice and cozy place to try some Spanish food and drinks. Friendly staff and good price.
MoreVisited yesterday after reading some good reviews. Sadly not for me .POSITIVES good vibe , waiter barman with pony tail could not try harder to please his customers. He was polite and kind. He did his very best all the time he apologised numerous times and was sincere.NEGATIVES. Cigarette smoke blowing in through door.Waited over 30 minutes longer for my meal than my partner.Food very average. Nothing like authentic tapas you would eat in Spain or even in other Spanish tapas bars in Liverpool.Madly overpriced for what was provided.Fortunately our bill was reduced significantly after complaining re wait and items missing from meal. This made it bearable. It would appear to be a kitchen issue with lack of leadership and no body really managing what is going on.All menus are mixed up pieces of paper some are different .Why does a particular menu on the board say served before 6pm and yet inside it says until 5pm on the paper. It would have been reassuring to know the hygiene rating but could not see it displayed . Could be amazing with a few tweaks . Thank you
MoreTo be honest, give a wide berth.Service rubbish, food mediocre and the place itself!!!!!!Offer on board outside, but when requested told that was incorrect and manager had to go and check for himself.Meals served seperately with items missing but still charged full price until pointed out with threat of trading standards being brought in.Very unpleasant experience and one place I will not be frequenting again.STAY CLEAR YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
MoreHi to everyone.Well I have to say that this is my first review ever, speaking from my experience as a chef in a Spanish cuisine and waitress in a Spanish Tapas in London.,Just to say that the FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING.We ordered bread with butter to start with, then Ganbas al ajillo( prawns with garlic and chilli and oilhave to say that arrived cold and the smell was horrible. Then the second dish was a new version of huevo rotos con jamón But in this ocasión with chorizo, so,huevo rotos con chorizo (fried egg with chorizo and pan-fried potatoes), it arrived cold as well and the chorizo was the same like sliced chorizo that you can buy in any supermarket. And the last but not the least, a table next to ours ordered a paella that was served in a normal place when they supposed to bring it in a normal paellera( spacial pan for paella). They didnt even try the paella, just paid and left. Im so sorry but I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
MoreI dont normally do this, but based on previous reviews it wasnt just a one-off situation. These were the worst tapas Ive had in a long time. Not tasty and not served properly - just chucked on the plate (chorizo was literally soaked in red wine on the plate). They looked and tasted nothing like actual Spanish tapas. No soap in the toilet, which was mentioned in multiple reviews on here, so clearly not a one-off. Staff were very nice and friendly. Hope they change things and improve the restaurant because the interior decoration, staff and location is all good! Shame really.
MoreAuthentic Spanish food but kinda pricy if ordering a tapas.
The food was excellent, the sangria was very tasty and the price was amazing. We left very full and very happy.
MoreGreat service from both waitresses, very friendly, however - shame about the food. The paella of the day (meatwas poor, it was served lukewarm as though it had been microwaved with very dry chicken - not sure how many days old it may have been left (picture below(a Tesco finest paella ready meal tastes better - which speaks for itself... in contrast, the tapas side of things were fresh and made to order. Stay clear of the paella but would recommend the tapas.
MoreHad a great time Great food great service x
Very nice place and good food. This was a random place on our way and we came in just to get some food but stayed a bit longer.Bartender Roberto is a top man. Thanks for my phone ;)
MoreEnjoyable meal some dishes needed more spice ie the pastas braves could do with a hotter sauce the service was good and the wine was good
MoreSimply disgusting. Nice and helpful young staff but they can’t do too much about management of the place.
MoreVery slow service, I’m from Spain and that’s not real spanish food, didnt like it at all. Also, too expensive and small amount of food.
MoreThe best place you could visit in England if you are Spanish, and if you could visit you fall in love with it .Awesome Spanish food, and incredible cocktails, beers and wines. The atención its sublime!!! Please come to visit them!!
MoreReally nice place to have serious food, amazing Tapas, friendly staff and love atmosphere..
MoreGrossly over priced food - which was bland, tiny and unimaginative. We love tapas. This is not tapas.Go to McDonalds.
MoreWe visited this restaurant as a family for an afternoon meal- what a mistake! The restaurant was empty, the server was unsure of what ingredients were available when we ordered, and the bathrooms did not have any hand soap... we should have taken these as signs for what was to come! Our three meals were brought about 20 minutes apart (we expected to eat together). All three meals were lacking very important ingredients (listed in the menu). The salad was tasteless, the charcuterie board was very minimal and very expensive (16 pounds for salami and cheese, likely bought at the grocery store minutes before), and the pizza was lacking the protein (sausageit was supposed to have. We noticed the server running out while we waited, coming back with a grocery bag. We waited about 45 min for the first meal to come out- keep in mind we were the only ppl in the restaurant. We were very disappointed in the whole experience and were actually shocked at the terrible quality and poor service. The worst I’ve ever experienced- avoid at all costs!
MoreServed me one the worst seafood paellas Ive ever tasted, the rice was uncooked and the portion was so tiny.
MoreVery Average & expensive food..poor service..Ive eaten around the world, but cant remember the last time I was served with bread & olive oil to start, minus the oil & no napkins..Dont waste your money..Other clientele were similar disappointed..Would never go back..
MoreOutside advertised a lunch menu with sandwiches that wasnt actually on offer. They didnt seem that bothered by that and couldnt whip up a sandwich so we left. Seemed generally dirty, uncleaned tables and footmarks on seats despite being empty.
MoreI tried to use my Groupon voucher for this restaurant. I phoned the restaurant all through the first two weeks of August no answer. I emailed they replied saying tell us when you want to book - I did - no reply. I phoned again they said they didnt open till 5 pm this is not in the offer fine print. I needed to check timings due to work commitments. I phoned back got told I cant use it till after 9 pm !! Not in the fine print. I challenged this and made a booking for August 28 1.00 pm. We arrived at 12.30 - restaurant was closed !! Outside is a poster saying dinner menu from midday. We were asked to try and book again !! We have but still no answer on the phone - website says restaurant is open - it obviously isnt - our voucher will run out soon and we will have wasted our money on a service Para Ti seem determined not to supply
MoreBooked a table online, turned up and the place is closed.Dont bother thinking of going here it is no longer open.
MoreWent for a evening meal after been in about 45mins my husband got served I never got anything waited about another 45mins and still nothing do I left
MoreI had a lovely evening, great food, excellent atmosphere, reasonable prices and friendly owners. A bit of Spain in the heart of Liverpool. I will definetely go back!
MoreDont bother reading other reviews. This place is absolutely awful! You should avoid it and just get a burger or something anywhere else.OK so the actual facts. I ordered a large glass of wine, paella (chicken), patatas bravas and a portion of Serrano ham. Im a reasonable judge, being Spanish and all, and Ive been to many Spanish places all over the UK. This is one of the worst.Paella: rice was not paella rice, which makes a massive difference and its about the same price so no excuse there. It was normal pilau or basmatti rice. It had no flavour whatsoever as they did not add a sofrito (basic onion, garlic and tomato mix). The rice was not fried and it was incredibly oily. Absolute lack of seasoning for an expensive plate was a shock, its very easy to get some flavour in rice.Patatas: they are supposed to be crispy outside and soft and fluffy inside. These were soggy and over cooked to the point you could make mash quite easily. Then they were burnt in the frying process. They are supposed to be served with a paprika/pimentón sauce that is incredibly easy to make, but were served with cheap tomato pure from a can, so taste was quite poor. Finally, they are supposed to come and be served with an alioli (garlicsauce, which was not the case. Bravas are supposed to be one of the most simple dishes in all of Spanish food, hence them being served everywhere, there is no excuse for getting them so wrong.Jamón: probably out of a pack or from the supermarket. Edible but for the price and the easy and readily available good quality products anywhere in the UK it is shameful that they serve a few slices for 7 quid of ham this bad.Wine: no big complaints, typical bottles you get in the supermarket. It just shows no effort at all.Overall, terrible food at a higher end price, so really dont bother. Cooking shows an absolute lack of interest or an absolute lack of knowledge.
MoreHad a wonderful time....food was fantastic would recommend this little gem to anyone who loves Tapas and a traditional Spanish vibe xx
MoreReally authentic Spanish food - they clearly care about how it tastes, and not just that it looks good! Nice atmosphere, small restaurant and well decorated.
MoreLovely quiet relaxed place to eat tapas, would definitely be visiting again.
Tasty food, especially the Jamon Serrano!
Delicious food and terrific service.
A proper hidden gem, the staff were brilliant and made our night
Away working and popped into this little place for meal. great food very tasty and very large portions for tapas. Ordered too many based on the size I normally get at home and wobbled out.
MoreThis place was amazing. The food was excellent and perfectly seasoned. The portions were quite satisfying for Tapas, and the Sangria was well done. The waitstaff was great and attentive. Would recommend this place to anyone.
MoreI was looking for something special to celebrate my birthday with friends from work but didnt want to go to a chain tapas restaurant. Found this on line and ate there last night. The whole experience is amazing. The ambient atmosphere is soothing, the food is excellent - tasty hot and in very large quantities and the staff were so lovely, and friendly. They made the night. The best recommendation is that there were two groups of spanish people dining there, so this little gem is a win win. We will definitely become regulars here. Gracias.
MoreVisited Para Ti at the weekend. We just stumbled across the restaurant after visiting The Cavern. The food was authentic!!! Wonderful after so many "fusion" tapas places. The staff were so welcoming and friendly you expected them to hug you. I asked for several tapas including pistos, which had run out :(. So the chef went and made some for us while we were waiting. How is that for customer care? If you want the real taste of Spain with a lovely welcome you have to try here.
MoreVery good Spanish restaurant! The tapas are both plentiful and good! All in a great atmosphere and at a reasonable price
MoreVisit this treasure on Mathew Street you wont be disappointed we arrived just in time before it was packed out! the food the wine the atmosphere was wonderful esp Chris the waiter who really doesnt stop - if you love traditional tapas this is the place to go!
MoreBrilliant little tapas bar, food is amazing and fresh the staff are so friendly too, definitely recommend it
