Papa Razzi Wellesley in Wellesley

I ordered pasta dish extra shrimp less pasta and need more veggie. When the food came pasta still look alot and eggplant(only veggie in the dishstill look the same not an extra at all. I got double charge on it. When the entree arrived i looked around. server not even came back to check until one of the host came by asked how can she help us. My point is server need to come back to table to let the guests know before you will up charge for the item.

Wednesday night 11/9 and the place was a zoo!! I was picking up an order which took a bit longer then expected. While the wait was frustrating the guy running the front of house was outstanding! He kept everything organized and managed his team perfectly. Huge shoutout to him!!!

Ok, best scallops around. Great food. I think Ive tried just about everything on the menu. Love it all.Great place to bring a date. They have every wine I can think of. Also Maine lunch is on the tap.I recommend Papa Razzi over and over again. My girlfriend and I love it for our local date night in Wellesley!

Nice place, a bit dated, uninspiring menu, but efficient service and good enough food. My heart goes out to these places trying to recover from an awful few years.

Awful service,waited for ever for dinner order,had to get my own soda drink myself,did not ask how everything was ,waitress unable to take correct way of paying bill,Manager said they were short staff,but they keep on taking in dinner guests,food not worth it,try someplace else,we have been here many times,quality and service has dropped off a cliff,BEWARE!!!

First time here and I must say from the friendly greeting at the host stand to the immediate acknowledged at the table, to the TWO managers doing table touches to the amazing service from Shawna! The food was amazing. I got the special Butternut squash ravioli with cranberries in cream sauce. It was absolutely perfect. I will definitely be back. I will ask to sit in Shawnas section again. Thank you to all staff!

It was a Sunday evening and it wasnt very crowded but it was still a bit noisy. We had drinks, various wines and a Manhattan. Very good. My wife had a cup of chicken soup and the beet salad. Make sure you taste the golden beets! I had a Ceaser salad and the linguini with meatballs. The salad could have had a little more dressing. I was surprised it didnt have any anchovies. The other couple had the Ceaser salad as well and the parmigiana. The service was very good.

The food is great and always consistently good. Love the chicken Parm. The bussers, runners, hostess, and kitchen staff are always great. The waiters are hit or miss.

Take out leaves a lot to be desired. Virtually every time I order (and the other day may be my lastthey say it will be 45 minutes until its ready. Which is fine except its usually only 15-20 minutes. So if you go by their guidance your food is sitting there for 20-30 minutes before you arrive. They say they will text you when its ready but if you live about 15 minutes away like I do then its still sitting on a table while you get there and then another 15 minutes to drive home which means it will be cold. I have tried to tell them that the way they handle the timing needs to be changed, to no avail since they keep quoting 45. I ordered again a couple of days ago. Was told 45 minutes. Even when I questioned their timing I was told they were packed and it really was going to be 45. So, silly me, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I showed up at 45 minutes, (no text to say it was ready which is not the first timebut I figured Id go in and check anyway. 6 take out bags sitting on the counter. Mine was in the back which means it had been there for some time. The woman handling take out said it had just come up and she was about to text me. That was obviously bs as I brought my dinner out to my car and checked it. It was cold already. Dont know why I have stuck with them so long other than they have a few dishes I like. Dont like them that much.......

Awesome bronzino main dish and bruschetta appetizer! Outdoor patio is nice as well.

We choose this restaurant to celebrate my boyfriend’s mother’s 75th. It was absolutely lovely. The food was excellent and we had a great time. The service however was not quite 5 stars. They seemed understaffed, and our waitress was very new and clearly under water. This isn’t her fault or the fault of the other staff, it was just a little slow all around. But I would recommend this to anyone. The food was so good, specifically the burrata, the beet salad, the clam linguini, and the mushroom ravioli.

Professional service. Nice atmosphere. We had a veal parm with angel hair and a chx parm with penne pasta for meals. Nicely prepared, pounded thickness was perfect. Sauce thick, rich delicious.

We have been going to Papa Razzi for years. Always a positive experience. But there was a misunderstanding about our order, and you want to know what they did? Our next order was 100% compd!!!!

Truly awful; you can expect to wait 90min+ for a simple Grubhub or Uber Eats order; go elsewhere

Wait staff friendly and attentive. Party of 8 every dish was excellent, served hot and well timed.

Food portions are smallish. Had chicken soup and chicken picatta. Had to ask numerous times for water and had to flag our server down for 2nd round of drinks. Just expected more from a corporate restaurant and a slow one at that.

Been here multiple times. Every single time I was there I questioned myself as to why exactly I kept coming back (mostly because my friends forced me to come). This last visit was the last straw. Never coming back!Food - tasteless. I’ve had the chicken parmesan, Orecchiette, 2 types of pizzas, antipasti platter, tiramisu. Antipasti quite decent. No rum in the tiramisu and its all the white/cream (ladyfingers nowhere to be found). Pizzas flavorless. Chicken parmesan and other pastas flavorless. Had to top it off with a bunch of condiments (olive oil, parmesan, chili flakes, etcto make it even eatable. I do know that most (not allwhite wellesley people like their food bland, so i guess it makes sense!Price - fine, IF the food was even remotely decent but its not.Ambiance - fine, its a family restaurant. Its marketed as upscale, but its not. Its Bertucci’s located at an expensive zip code. That’s it.Service - I guess it depends who you get. Gill has been there for years but I find him extremely annoying and often forgets orders. I think its time for him to retire. When I asked for parmesan he’ll come grate it in front of you for a second and stopped and didn’t ask whether i’m good or not (he needs to grate that cheese for another full minute till i’m good). He’d also check the amount of tip you get the moment you finish signing your check and would come back to ask you how much you wrote if he couldn’t figure it out. He’d also slam around the plates/dishes when cleaning up - you know, like at a Chinese restaurant. Soooooooo rude & unprofessional. Then there’s the guys that deliver the food to the table from the kitchen, they have no idea which table is which. Sometimes we’d get other table’s orders and vice versa.

Good food! But again, service is awful. The waitress could care less, screwed up the order multiple times, there were only 15 people in the whole restaurant but noise level was excessive and food was over an hour late. Not sure what to say .... The place has deteriorated. Will no longer be returning. Either staff up or close. Why open and deliver sub standard service and alienate customers.

Great food and atmosphere. Service is always good. Great Italian-american cuisine.

OMG. Came in for a quick bite and a libation. Sat at the bar. Aline is the best. She is attentive. And if you’re lucky, Aline is the one who made the Sicilian Sangria that day. Wicked awesome! The octopus app was sublime and the sangria was delish. You need to come here.

Today my friend and I went to Papa Razzi in Wellesley for lunch. They were short-staffed, even at the bar (no bartender!but the lovely hostess Amanda took our name (half hour wait for a table), said we could at least sit at the bar while we waited, and promised to find a way to get us a glass of wine. So we had a relaxing half hour (with Prosecco while we waited. Amanda was completely charming and welcoming, despite the fact that bartending was not her responsibility. She really made sure that we received the gracious attention that one hopes for in a restaurant - and as we were leaving, and thanking her again . . . she even thanked us. So again, thank you, Amanda ❣️ ( And our waitress was equally lovely!)

They gave me wrong order at first and when the right order came it wasn’t well done, when i ordered a well done burger for my daughter. We only noticed when we got home to open our food.

The two people that served us were nice, and the food was great! Hadnt had Gnocchi for a while, theirs is superb!

James was our amazing server the other night & we had a great time. Food was good but wouldnt say spectacular - recommend calamari appetizer & Caesar salad.

Excellent food, waitstaff and ambiance. Great customer experience. The server appeared to be put off that I wasnt drinking anything but water - but I think I paid by the bottle for that too, so not sure where if it was me or him in all honesty. Parking can be tight at times, but the space in each spot is good. I would return!

The food was great and we had an excellent time. Unfortunately, the service was pointedly slow and there were many moments we had to search for our waitress. This was pretty disappointing but did not ruin the overall experience.

Excellent waitstaff and excellent food, reasonably priced. Table of 5 girlfriends catching up. Ordered a tiramisu for the table because we all just wanted a bite, we each had several bites and still didnt finish it, it was that generous of a portion.

Salmon was awesome family celebration well done

Food was good. Server was sweet but it took forever to get our wine. She went back and forth to get the bottle of each individual glass of wine selection (4 in totaland did the pour at the table. It was about 20 minutes for all of us to get our wine! Strange way to serve wine.

I ordered a medium well burger. This burger is burnt and disgusting, quite frankly not even edible. It is very dry too. Not only this, our food came late. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Just called for pick up, and told us it was going to be an hour wait. Picked things to order and was going to give them 15% gratuity. They then said pickup time was changed to 1hr and 30 minutes. We feel this was because of the low tip, but it was for pick up. This doesn’t feel right.

Great Italian food in an upscale setting. Prices are medium to high depending on the dish but good values considering the quality and taste. Service was attentive and excellent in helping a large group for dinner. This is a great place for a night out with family or friends.

I held a bereavement luncheon in the Hunnewell Room after my father’s funeral. Everything worked out perfectly. The room was great and an extra table was set up for us to display photos. The food was outstanding and well received by all the guests. Our server, Aline, was very attentive and helpful. I highly recommend Papa Razzi!

Service was terrible. The restaurant itself was almost empty but the older gentleman who waited on us hardly came to our table. He didnt write down our orders and we never got our appetizer. He filled our water glasses 3 times but never asked how our meals were or if we needed anything else. When he brought the check he hovered at the table until we paid him. The food was mediocre at best.

Very nice place with a big parking lot. I sat at the bar and ordered a Margherita pizza. I got a nice Night Shift IPA and a Bulleit bourbon rocks. The pizza was very tasty. The bourbon rocks was a pretty light pour for $13. I got a double espresso martini with a shot of Baileys that was the BEST I’ve ever had for just $12. They have an espresso machine at the bar which really makes a huge difference. My barmaid Meghan was a very nice young lady and the manager was very engaging. Really really liked this place. Taking the wife there soon because espresso martinis are her favorite.

Stopped by during the day on a Saturday. We were greeted promptly and seated right away. We sat right by the fireplace which was nice. They had a couple employees walking around wiping everything down throughout our time there. Everyone wore masks and tables were all distanced. Service was a bit slow. Especially considering how slow it was. The calamari came out with an aioli type sauce that was interesting. I ended up asking for a side of marinara sauce. That ended up taking so long the appetizer sat cold and our entree came out around the same time. The linguini in meatballs was delicious. Noodles were cooked just right. Sauce was good. Portions were generous. This was the dish split in two. We’d stop by again. Probably pass on the calamari, but would try other food for sure.

This was a very nice place, a bit chilly when you entered. The staff was very friendly with great service. We had a large party that went and the staff was great. The bread and oil they put on the table complementary was outstanding so good, we must of got about 3 baskets of bread. The main course was good, not great.

Really good, spacious restaurant. Lots of good Italian options that suites everyones dietary needs. Friendly staff but not wowed by that (it depends on your wait staff). But the food tasted great and its a perfect spot for families.

I always have a great time dining at this establishment. I have had everything from a quick meal at the bar alone to a long dining experience with friends at their seated tables. I have been visiting this location since the mid-1990s and have always been satisfied with the service and the food. The hosts and hostesses are friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is very clean. Prices are moderate and what would be expected in a restaurant of this type. The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly.

Service is good. The waiter was super friendly and kept making jokes with our table. He kept helping us refill our glasses with rose. The food was decent. I got the risotto and it tasted fine, but there was also burnt spaghetti in my plate. We got to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather on an evening in June. Definitely a few lively tables around us, but most certainly still quieter than sitting inside. Overall, decent food and a good experience.

This Papa Razzi restaurant was recently renovated. It looks great and the service did not disappoint us.The food was up to their usual standard. I had the white shrimp and it was great.

We had my nieces high school graduation party here with 27 family and friends, in one of their private rooms. Kadir was a very attentive host, who worked with us on the decorations (we brought centerpieces etc.and he was also a great server and bartender. Highly recommend the food and the service here! The parking is cramped but the valets took care if us.

The experience was not what I expected. The service was not good. I asked for a salad w/o fennel, n to my disgust it had plenty of that pungent flavored mess in it! I lost my appetite n ended up taking my supper home.

Decent food. The calimari is some of the best ever. Pleasant atmosphere. It is spacious & a perfect place for groups. Our waitress was a little spaced out, but server & greeters were great.

Loved the wine and custom meal the chef made to accommodate my allergies! Service was good despite the fact that the restaurant was packed when we arrived. Definitely recommend making a reservation, especially for a special occasion.

Amazing place to eat, service is top notch, food is mouth watering, and the decor is beautiful. Try the stuffed French toast for brunch. It taste incredible and you wont leave hungry. The price is very reasonable.
