Visited twice during a 4 night stay and can honestly say it is the best Italian meal we have tasted.....extensive menu for all...good price for meals and drinks...outstanding service...nothing was too much trouble......highly recommended 👌

Love the super fresh pizza, is a very special one. Its different from the others.

Don’t get fooled by ordering medium pizza unless you are real hungry 😅 small is more then enough to stuff your belly with awesome pizza!

Food is good, free poncha shot with appetizers, fair price. No drinks in the menu.

Location location location, great views for an evening drink and food stop. House wine was lovely, pizza was very average and ravioli lacked flavour.

Dirty inside floors not swept ants everywhere, the food was very poor , had a steak asked for medium came out well done , swamped in cheese sauce , nothing wrong with the sauce but way too much , the chef obviously has no idea how to cook one properly

Place overrated.Been there a couple of times but never impressed.This last time the chicken pizza “Hot Dancers” was very very cheesy, and below all that cheese was supposed to be the “bacon”, but it was really just ham at the point it seemed like a sandwich to me. And on top of that, you could feel all over your mouth the “cocktail sauce” that was very liquid and with a very very cheap taste of ketchup and mayo. Mixing these two at home taste better for real.Very dissapointed.I dont know why madeirian people still go to this place, very “old” very “traditional” but other places easily can replace this brand.They dont even write the words in a correct italian.From 4 stars to 2 while writing this.

This place sets the standard for service. The staff were fantastic.Food is decent, but I wouldn’t say it’s anything to shout about, and is what makes me takeaway that 5th star.Nevertheless, very good restaurant.

The food was great along with the service. Fast and efficient. Price was affordable and definitely got great value for money.

The food was good, but the service was a little bit slow. They have food all day, this is a plus since almost all restaurants nearby are closed. The sangria with vino verde is a must here 🔥

Great pizza, lovely setting, buzzy atmosphere.

Had to wait a good hour for the food. As we found out, we would even forget. In the end when the food came got my vegetarian dish but unfortunately the wrong one.From the backdrop its quite noisy and crowded. At the table you could hardly talk to your friends because of the volume.

Did we eat at the same place as the other reviews that enjoyed the food here? Service was OK that was the good bit.The food here was the worst we had in our 3 week holiday. The filled pasta was so over cooked it was mush and tasted like tuna even though it was meant to be meat.The penne with chicken was bland, like cream with cheese on top, just not right. Wine was OK as was beer, although same with the food for the quality served it was expensive. Honestly I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, I cant even up the one star for the amazing view, it was that poor in my opinion.

Bit noisy. No reservation system so you have to queue. We ordered a shellfish lasagna which they had obviously forgotten. So instead they slipped us a meat one 10 minutes later which had 5 prawns on the top! Ha ha! Thats why theyre only getting 2 stars. The rest of the food was ok. Nothing remarkable. Big portions. Not expensive. Wouldnt go again in the evening as its far too many people and the service isnt brilliant.

Nikita was really good, also ours meals (pasta nad pizza). The stuff service was incredable fast (but not ours), waitrers were running behind the tables so it was not nice for watching it.

This is a great restaurant, we frequented this venue on our Honeymoon last year.Large menu, friendly & curtious staff. And you always get a free welcoming shot of the delicious local drink Poncha. Would highly recommend.

Very good pizza.

Got two pizzas - Portugalian and Atlantida. One was ok - a bit too greasy for my taste and crab stick addition (when we are literally sitting on the side of the ocean with tons of fresh seafoodwasnt my favorite, but overall - not that bad for one "eat and forget" experience. The other one was horrible. Ive never expected pizza to have no taste as this. Somehow pizza crust, pepperoni, cod had the same cardboard taste. It was like chewing old rubber with the small hint of oregano. Weve only managed to finish two slices of it - it was decided to save our stomach space for something more flavorful. Overall - 2/5. If you decide to go here - stick to the basics.

We came here twice and might go once again before we leave!It’s a gem for tasty food, beautiful views, and quick service!It’s not a fancy place, very casual and suits those nights you don’t want to dress up, just have some good food and head home.The price is extremely reasonable! I had bruschetta the first time in Madeiran garlic bread - divine!For dinner, I had the vegetarian burger with chips, and you could taste it was all homemade. Madeira so serve burgers bun-less so I got a garlic bread and constructed it myself 😊

Outlet found along the promenade, one of a chain. Greeted with small poncha in glass with nibbled. Sells, alcoholic, and soft drinks, coffees and ice creams. Amazing amount of choices to choose from the menu. Club sandwiches to Italian food styles. Pizzas, salads, pasta, lasagne, etc. Service is good. Outside or inside dining, good seating areas. Great views over the sea. Good portions served with small and large lasagna bolognaise, plus a salad.

We discovered the place by accident from the top of the Sightseeing bus this afternoon and decided that were going to have pizza here tonight. The service was professional and very welcoming. The pizzas were delicious. Lovely, lively atmosphere, all the locals meets in here.

Excellent staff, very friendly, quick service, food was lovely, and very reasonably priced. Lovely views. Wheelchair accessible, kid friendly.

Fantastic pizza on the side of the coast path overlooking the sea.

Best place for pizza in the island. Go for it in sunset hours. After 9pm its easier to get a table.

Absolutely buzzing. Saturday lunch time. Jam packed with local families. Noisy, atmospheric, staff running between tables. Nice house white wine, very nice medium size vegetarian pizza for 2. Olives, garlic bean and poncho on arrival at the table. Might not be everybodys taste but this is what a good place should be like!

I really cannot understand all the good reviews... the pizza dough was really strange, really tough, chewy and not at all like pizza doughs supposed to be. The waiters did not really show much enthusiasm and appeared to be quite lost among the many costumers. The location is really great though and if youre only going for a quick bite, go for it! For a nice dinner it was rather disappointing.

Wasnt too impressed with the Pizza from here. I asked for the sizes, and they recommended me a medium, but I was hungry and opted for the large (22~ Euros). They didnt ask me if I wanted a thin or thick base. The pizza looked ok, but considering it was sold primarily as a meat pizza, I was surprised when I couldnt taste anything but onions. Underneath the cheese, it was covered in onions, edge to edge. The tomato sauce was extremely watery which left it almost tasteless and the pizza was super thin, I was barely satiated by the time I finished it.

I had delicious pasta called Macaroni Caruso. Fish dishes were very good, too. Friendly staff and a nice view of the bay. Perfect home-made desserts and coffee. We had a tiramisu and a cheesecake, both delicious. They offer a wide range of meals - soups, starters, pizza, pasta, meat and fish but also vegetarian dishes. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

The super fresh pizza was amazing but the staff was slow. We waited for a long time for an offer and the possibility to order.

Great ambiance and terrific food. We had the lasagnea and t-bone steak, smokely grilled to perfection. Oceanfront to boot. Attentive staff.

Great place near the ocean bay. Fast service despite few more customers inside. Very good food ( we tried only pasta do far convinced us to come back in the future. Price for a plate, about 12 euros. Totally recommend.

Lovely resto down by the water. Waiters very nice and informative for the menu choices. Free poncha and olives to welcome you! Very nice atmosphere. We both had a curry risotto - chicken and seafood. Both delicious!

We had 3 meals there good price, good food and good service. Over the days we had pizza, cod fish fritters, steak sandwich n seafood risotto. The chips are fantastic with great views of Atlantic ocean!!
