Papa Joes Sports Bar Inc in Sarasota

Im going to give it 5 stars based on my previous years because I havent been here in at least 5 years. I heard that it has changed dramatically from your good hearted down home fun loving local bar where everyone was like family. ( even though we fought from time to time we all still looked out for each otherto a young wanna be I am not sure what crowd. If it was 5 + years ago I would recommend Papas.

This a Great Neighborhood Sports Bar, It has everything you would want, Plenty of parking,, Great drinks, loads of big screen tvs, all kinds of games, Pool tables, Live bands, Juke box. Friendly people, Great Bartenders and very reasonable prices, and a very comfortable atmosphere 😀

My drink was ok.

The night Bar tender drinks on the job and has terrible service. It took us a half an hour to get 2 little drinks while she argued with another drunk because she was drunk herself. My friends and I were regulars but now we will go somewhere else for now on.

The girl serving drinks was very nice and made me feel at home. Everyone there was very nice.

Decent joint with pool tables, GT Golf and more. Have a drink and chill.

Country bar. Nice folks. Good prices. Pool tables. Poker games. Smoking indoors IS allowed here.

Staggered in, drunk as a skunk, thinking I was going to get some of the pizza with better ingredients. Disappointed that I didnt get pizza, satisfied that I was able to get more drinks.

This place is fun & amazing. Lisa the bartender should be tipped well … she takes care of her patrons ! TY

This is a bar with drinks and games and a mild atmosphere. No complaints with service and the people are okay .

Papa Joes is my go to bar. Great owner, great staff and great customers. Never had an issue there and everyone is treated with respect.

Worst drinks ever....spoiled milk in the White Russian and cheap brand of margarita mix used with the patron!!!Bartender was pleasant and tried to makethings right and atmosphere was good!!!PS....restroom was out of toilet paper on both sides but I dont mind drip drying, lol!

I am fairly new to Papa Joes and I have to say I really like this place. My experience has been a suttle and relaxing atmosphere with a friendly ambience. Bartenders have been great and prices are more than reasonable.

The two girls that are bartenders are real friendly and have a great attitude good place to play a little pool and watch the game

Awesome bartenders Betty Melissa Papa of course Ive met a lot of great people there but Im back home in Boston Ive had a lot of good times after work with my colleagues and met the man that I love at that bar hope to see yall again

I had a wonderful time and the server Harmony was a wonderful host who couldnt have made a stranger feel more welcomed there no matter how hard they could try. If you go here hopefully you are going on a night that she works and you can see what I mean!!!

This place is as dirty as they can get. Floors are worse then sidewalks. Nothing including the bathrooms has been sanitized in a very long time. Clean people wont drink from the glasses. Nasty is nice. The entertainment is drunk people fight.
