Papa's True American bar in Split

Came here for breakfast, the chicken in the club sandwich was extremely dry and the bacon was like chewing smoky leather.The Papas Burger was ok, but the fries had a weird chemical taste to them and were not salted at all.Beautiful view and a good array of drinks on the menu.

It was really delicious and the waiters were also cool. However, the girls near the restaurant are also very delicious and hot. I would come here back auf jeden Fall

Good bar food but wont give you water, a base human need. Shame, good service and moderate bar foodWould be a 5 if it wasnt for dying of thirst while eating. Always avoid places that refuse to give you simple tap water.

€6 for a small tasteless watery smoothie. 🤦🏼‍♀️I politely told the waitress and she didnt seem to care. Disgusting and dissapointing.

Very decent place to get something to eat. My craving was for theirs pulled pork sandwich and it was outstanding! Definitely recommending going there, waiter professionalism was at the high level. Til next time!

Pulled pork sandwich was one of the best things i ever tried. The hospitality of the waiter made me feel like Im at home.I will definitely come back when i go to split again

Visited this beach restaurant and bar for a quick bite and a drink. Food was average, I found no reason to rave about it. Burger and fries may have well come from McDonalds or another fast food place, nothing special, but good enough to do the trick. Drinks were good, though a bit on the small side. Service could have been faster, but it was friendly and the server spoke good English. Bathrooms are a separate story. Found the bathrooms flooded but having no choice in the matter, if you know what I mean, I forged ahead. Upon finishing my business in the old WC, i tried to leave the room by pushing down on the door knob...which came clear off! could not unlock the door for about 2 minutes and thought I may have to break the door down in order to get out. Fortunately I used the old noodle to find a method of unlocking the stubborn door. Bad times. Be careful if you must go...

Slowish service.Never seen as much greas as in my tortilla wrap, discusting.Chicken was overcooked. Chicken so dry that Sahara called and asked for their number.

Good food and view from the place. Music was to high but we could eat outside.

This was the best expirience i have ever had. The Clubhouse Sandwich was the i have ever eaten. Besides the Personal ist very lovely. The best Restaurant in hole Split.👍

Dont order any smoothie here. It taste just like Water, no fruit inside.

Ok food! BLT wasnt worth the money but the burgers definitely were! We were bought out the wrong food and was almost an hour wait, chips were cold and tasteless, probably wouldnt go here again on that experience, but the burgers were good.

Best place in Split, delicious fresh beef and chicken, for very cheap. The beer is always cold and you can jump in the sea at any time for refreshment. Would definitely recommend to anyone. We came back everyday.

Great location. Had the big papa with the pulled pork, was nice. The portion of homemade chips was quite small but nice.Service was good and quick.Also they accept card👍🏻

This restaurant had cold food, soggy food, nasty bread, bad ingredients in general and the smoothie tasted like water. I don’t recommend this place to anyone, unless you’re a person who wants to eat dog food.

Food alright but the service terrible. Had to wait over 10 min for the waiter to order anything. And then when we wanted to pay, they informed us they do not accept credit cards, cash only. That should have been said before placing the order. I am NOT returning to that place anymore.

The food is not bad, but the experience becomes a nightmare when you pay. The menu has prices in Euros, but they charge above that. When you get the exchange, the exchange rate is very unfair, worse than any House exchange in Split. In the end, you expect to pay a certain amount, and end up paying a lot more. Run away

One of the best burgers Ive had lately, the staff was very nice and the food arrived quickly. Best location in town as well. Recommend 10/10

We ordered a tuna salad and it was can tuna, nothing against it, but I said to the waiter who said, that’s fast food. I didn’t go to a fast food, but it was ok. The only thing check your bill, they added a chips toMy bill and to the table next door, if we didn’t check it we would have paid more… they team working are fantastic people and the burgers look good!

Papas bar was one of the better experiences in Split for my friends and me. Homemade meat burgers, wraps, coctails, rich selection of beers and most importantly cheerful staff to brighten your stay, all what you need for great vacation.

The food is very tasty and the service is fast. The waiters are very kind and accommodating. Cocktails are great. 🥰

Average food, great location however. 3 stars would probably be too low as food arrived quickly and staff were friendly. Would say that it is better place to come for drinks rather than food. Photo below is the beef wrap with the fruit cocktail

Just stopped for a late afternoon, early evening drink. Nice Aperol Spritz and a couple of refreshing non-alcoholic Karlovačko beers 🍻 🍺 Friendly service and nice place to sit as the sun starts to drop and watch the world go by. Didn’t try the food but the menu looked good, as did the meals being served to other diners.

The papas burger was good, but it gets better.When you are hungry and want some burger feel free and enjoy 😄.

Worst place ever. Do yourself a favor and dont go. They gave me my order 2 times wrong! And I accepted the wrong order cause I was super hungry and couldnt wait more. The waitress had an attitude like it was my fault they couldnt hear the correct order TWICE. I ordered French fries and a cookie cake and first they gave a mojito (??and then a cheeseburger (????). And she said thats what I said. Totally ruins your mood. And it was really expensive for its quality, I couldnt even eat it. So bad. I dont know how can some waitresses be so bad. I would NEVER go again. And funny thing is that she wanted me to take the cookie cake after all that happened and when I said no she was kinda blaming me. Lol. I wish I could give 0 stars.

This is how my order came... These few tortilla chips that they put were old and stale. Never again...

We were invited with a coupon that gives 10 percent off all menu. After sitting down, they took the coupon. We ordered beers and some food. Fries were bland and chicken wings were bland and old tasting, really horrible. In the end they didnt even give us the 10 percent off and when asking about it they said the waitress didnt know anything about it. Very dissappointing. Do not recommend.

We’ve been there twice, Saturday experience was great. Nice staff and great food. On Sunday however it was a disaster. Were waiting 30 mins only for drinks, got food an hour in and it was cold. And it wasnt even busy day 🤦🏻‍♀️Would recommend but dont go there on Sunday

the service is terrible, the tables are so dirty that they stick together. you cant smell the alcohol in the alcoholic cocktails, theyre so diluted. this is the worst diner Ive ever been to. I asked for a cocktail replacement, the bartender said I would have to pay a second time. For dessert we didnt get a spoon, we waited 20 minutes, the ice cream of course melted. NEVER AGAIN.

Amazing food! Very tasty and well prepared. I really liked the service at the place , and I was especially impressed by the sea view. Also friends and I were surprised by a pretty good selection of beers. l highly recommend this place!

Oh loved it. Its not McDonalds or other crappie fast food chains. This is the burger places you want to fill your stomach with. I will definitely be back. Check the view! Amazing place!

Big place on the main city beach with large selection of drinks and food. While we were there we were only locals as all around us were our dear tourists from all over the world. Open terrace is shaded and this is nice venue while on the beach or passing by.

Great place for a quick bite or a drink! I recommend Papas burger! Located next to the sea it offers great view to relax and chill. Good prices and very pleasant staff!
