I liked to walk in this area. Even though the area was crowded, but the atmosphere was so great if I spent afternoon time here. As always, beach is my favorite spot to feel the breeze and a glass of ice chocolate milk. What a good life... 😁

Nice promenade to have a morning or evening walk. Visited during weekend night and its pretty crowded. Bunch of cafes across the street and they opened till late.

Clean and calm beach. Not.Spectacular sunsets, YES.

The beach even its Padang City was very clean and its very very awesome. The view of sunset also makes you want to visit this place more and more

Something must be done about the trash which is all over the place.Its a tourist attraction! A bit shameful really...

Nothing special about the beach itself although its a good spot to watch sunset. It was dirty where I was hanging out. If you drive and park there, you can only order drinks from the shop thats in front of your car, which I find really ridiculous. A lot of people hung out there under the umbrella which was nice.

Definitely a must place to visit if you come to Padang. A nice place even just to go out and take a stroll.

This beach is just next to the city n is Indian Ocean. If Tsunami comes, it will swipe the whole Padang City.

Honestly i dont like it, if u wanna go to Beach around West Sumatra, i suggest at Painan or Pariaman. But, here in Padang, you can have some good delicious foods 👍tho the beach ar a lil bit dirty and boring.

Great place to see sunsets. We can meal somes "bakso bakar" (grilled meatballsor seafoods while enjoy the sunsets. At the night, this place was still visited by many people. Young people get dinner or just hangout in here. Some time, see and heard sound of waves made us more relaxed.

Great place to see the sunset or afternoon stroll and you can see some little crabs at the shore. There are many food stand near the beach. Minus is the beach still have some plastic garbage at the shore.

Food is great and so easily acquired. Wonderful selections of local Minang@Padang culinary delights. Food haven for food hunters. Highly recommended for a night or 2 stay.

I usually go to Padang Beach to enjoy the street food they sell by the beach. I dont think its the best place to watch sunset. Besides, the beach gets very crowded during weekends with people from out of town. However, if you wanna experience the beach vibe with friends while enjoying some street food, then its a good place for that. You could find a parking space easily and it is pretty clean for a crowded beach. You could also try some seafood restaurants along the beach.

Great view when youre visiting Padang, West Sumatera

This is my backyard beach, Yop i lived nearby, 100 meters only from this spectacular spot. The beach getting sexy and sexier day by day. Surrounded by many local stalls with Affordable price. Average in USD 1.2 only!!!!

A very close to downtown beach with wide and relatively clean well paved pedestrian path where you can walk or jog. There is a simple fish market here where you can buy fishes newly caught by fishermen. There are many restaurants selling dishes made from fish here. From year to year, the town administration has been doing their best to make the beach better.

Many seafood restaurant , you can enjoy eating fresh fish here.

Pantai Padang is a must to see the sunset if you come to Padang. Don’t miss the nicest view you can have in Padang!

Pantai Air manis, good view, but too hot in the afternoon, and honestly for historical beach this not really clean. 😥

A beach with a lot of local food that can be try. A great place to watch the sunset. There are local people can take your picture and instantly print it out (reasonable payment, can nego). You can take a lot of pictures here without adjusting the lighting.

Unique beach/seaside just by the city. Easy to reach, many transportation system reach this beach at some points in trajectory. There are many seaside, can be too crowded by the late afternoon/early evening. Not very suitable for enjoying sunset, but still worth to visit while in Padang.

This beach is located on the side road, so that people can easily come and visit the beach.This beach is a kind of ordinary beach, if you miss the ocean, you may come and hang out here.Theres a group of letters of PADANG. Visitor can take photo here.The park is also crowd by people at night.Open 24 hours a day and for free.

Nice place to watch the sunset trip, getting food all free of charge. Little cowded and difficult to find parking lot at busy time.

Just okay, not many options for foods and snacks, everyone sell same tipical instant noodles, nasi goreng, overcooked ikan bakar and langkitang. Toilets are smelly, dirty and must pay.

Clean beach. You may play along the coast side. There is picture spot to take under the written of padang beach and sign to go for another area.

I went early in the morning to Padang Beach. I enjoyed to see the beach, to feel the sands and the water on my foot.

Nice place to watch sunset, government still doing some work to make this park look better than before. Now you can sit here, have a drink and some snack on the street. But i hope there will be a food court here. It will be great

A city beach with a lot of local weekend crowds and plentiful of food stalls around. Make sure u try the grilled sweet cone and banana desert. Yummy
