Equatorial Guinea St, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Addis Ababa
Panorama Hotel | Megenagna | ፓኖራማ ሆቴል | መገናኛ - in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
The hotel has no heating, not in the common areas and not in the rooms either. The food from the restaurant is subpar. The staff is not very helpful in general.
I was a transiting passenger obliged to stay there. Otherwise would have never chose it. Disappointed on staff, services, meals everything! Rooms were pretty ok for one night.
Around 5kms from the airport, and close to Shola market, otherwise no problem to avoid
Good service can be improved Abit more to 3 star standard
The entire experience was sad. The only thing worse than the smell and the cleanliness of the "hotel" was the food which was certainly procured from the dumpster, coated in flour, deep fried and served by hostile staff. If you are unfortunate enough to transit in the facility please take toothpaste, lotion and basic cleansing amenities they will charge you $10 for toothpaste. Terrible. Terrible.
Very clean, excellent breakfast
Used it as a transit hotel during a stopover. On the plus side, it wasnt too far from the airport, it had a working ATM outside, internet in the bar and the room was a good size. However, the mattress was old and soft while the TV didnt work. The bathroom was grubby with stains on the floor, and the one towel we were given - there were two of us - was worn and had a large hole in it! Overall the hotel felt old and in need of a serious facelift. It was okay for a transit hotel inbetween flights but nothing more.
This hotel seams to have lost its glory. The carpets are dirty and customer service is poor. The food is not nice. Ethiopian Airlines uses it as a transit hotel for its overnight passengers. I wouldn’t recommend it. Good thing is the internet works. Perhaps a consolation. It’s in need of new management.
No air conditioning in the rooms, the shower sprays more on the floor than in the shower and the food is very bland, the staff are friendly however
Good place for vocation..
Not bad, but not to my personnal expectations. Rooms is quite old, and it to nowadays standards. Personnel us helpfull, but thé venue lack of "life" and "personnality".Driver is ok.
Possibly the most unhelpful staff, none of the card machines and ATMs work. The rooms are 2 star quality if it’s that much, bedding probably not changed in weeks and has holes. Bathroom doesn’t even have the bare necessities for one to freshen up considering you are there on a layover from hours of flying and let’s not even mention the food, safe to say we refused to eat dinner as well as breakfast as hungry as we were. Would never layover there again.
Nothing much about this.....just okay for an overnight stay
Thanks for ruining our valentines day. They said they have valentines day package it was a joke🙉. Good location, The hospitality was very bad👎👎, the room is very old, TV didnt work, the bed is uncomfortable good luck sleeping at night. overall its old and badly managed hotel I wouldnt recommend it at all!
Its ok room. Meals are not the best and its Abit far from the city centre
Stayed here in transit at Addis Ababa. 3 star hotel.
Its in a safe part of Addis. But the complimentary dinner was not so good when I visited. Breakfast much better.
I really enjoyed my stay
Very terrible place.Bad for tourist, poor food, poor customer service, no ambience, poor room quality. Just leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Bad experience.
Ooh we thought this was going to be a great hotel, but alas were we disappointed, very disappointed, the first thing was that the beds were terrible, everyone of us ended up sleeping on the floor with one of the carcass of the mattress, the wi-fi was terrible, we couldnt even eat the food, we tried to get DStv and that was warfare. I wouldnt recommend this hotel at all, if youre transiting do not go here
It was a very good hotel and very good service and we all thanks panorama hotel and itobia adisababa
The place was cool but had a challenge with certain things in the rooms like1No shower gels, lotion, toothpaste and brushes like other hotels2No drinking water in the rooms3Reception or Resuarant doesnt pick up calls.3The TV was there but no remote so couldnt watch it.4Shower was broken and spraying water all over the floor.
Very nice hospitality, the staff are so good and polite. I love it
A nice hotel with excellent rooms and serene environment.
Has the basic requirements for a comfortable stay. The quality of the rooms, food and service are not top notch though. In my opinion, since its a budget hotel.....they believe in just quantity and not necessarily provide high quality services / amenities.I wasnt impressed with my room; there was a stain on the sheet and the towel was old & torn.....however, I requested for another one and was promptly given. There is an ATM by the entrance of the hotel which is a plus.On the other hand, no COVID-19 protocol is observed here except the use of masks (no temperature check, no sanitisation of hands, no social distancing).
Time has stood still in this place. It is dark and uninviting at the entrance. The room I has was clean but the beds too soft and unsupportive. The bathroom is in dire need of a complete makeover. The food does not avail itself to anything to comment about. The staff however were superb in the circumstances and deserve a great thank you.Why Ethiopian Airlines use such a poor facility says that they are not vetting the places where they put their passengers
Kind personal but they need to improve bathroom, Ive been in a dirty one with broken materials. The bed was not too bad. Meal is ok.
Comfortable but lacked tea in the room for self service🙂 but otherwise the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lot of potential !
I didnt have a nice experience, its very dodgy there
The hotel is good, the airport shuttle is on time, rooms are having good beds and clean, the shower is bit old and need maintenance for room 302, The restaurant staff are polite plus the Internet speed is good
These guys at the reception are extorting people. We asked if they could call us a cab so we can buy toiletries and they asked that we give it them $20 dollars for two toothbrushes. When asked if they could call the cab for us, they refused and insisted they’ll go buy.
I got this hotel for free by Ethiopian Airlines as I had a transit. As it was for free, I cannot really complain. But I would never pay the almost 100$ advertised online, and a much much much cheaper price if the following is improved: Include soap in the bathroom, include at least a second towel to not slip on the floor after shower, make up the room each day, include water in the room, fix the loud ventilation in the bathroom, improve the stability of the internet, dont call for a wakeup call if explicitly asked not to, warm up the meals and provide more variety. Generally, the hotel is very old and there is neither ventilation, nor heating or cooling in the rooms (it was very cold in the mornings). Also, there was absolutely no panorama, so not clear why the name was chosen. The airport shuttle driver was very friendly and he gave me a sim card for my short stay and showed me around the city the next day as it was his day off. The shuttle ride itself was not social-distancing conform though: I was put into a fully loaded minibus for 30min.
I stayed here for my 14 hour layover. The staff is very kind and give good customer service. Was glad we were given dinner even though our flight arrived late at night so we still got dinner even at 10pm. They call on the room phone to wake you up and tell you what time the shuttle comes in the morning to take you to the airport - I appreciated that. It’s a comfortable hotel.
Very Nice Hotel in Addis, i enjoyed the local food!
Ethiopians are wonderful people.!! 😘😘😘I locked my key inside the room within the first 15minutes of the visit 😅😅😅They helped me with a clean heart.Ill always come here when I travel from Kenya😍😍
My room was overlooking a dining hall and separated by glass. There was no body lotion in the bathroom considering the fact that most of us were transiting thus we did not have our luggage with us. Also, the bed covers and pillows were dirty -probably it has not been changed after it was used by the previous occupant.Aside that they had no milk to serve hurts at breakfast.
Room os ok breakfast is wanting. Cold pancakes. Oats like water too thin.
They are most welcoming and very exciting to stay
This is one if the hotels used by Ethiopian Airlines to layover its economy passengers having next day connecting flights. The hotel is undergoing expansion obviously to extend business under this arrangement with Ethiopian Airlines. The interior of the hotels needs upgrading. The rooms and their facilities need to be improved. The food is well laid but just alright for the short stay arrangement for forward travelling connections. The staff are friendly.
The service was not bad for this one night spent in this hotel. Someone to open the car doors and welcome us in, quick room dispatch at reception and a follow up to the room to check if everything is OK.Water leak in the bathroom from the water heater, but the room itself was we set up. Though the fish strips from my dinner were over stirred, the diner itself and breakfast were alright. Red carpet all the way!
Be away of it. The room was not clean. The food was neither fresh nor hot.
I just past a night here because of the delay we had with our flight, though the hotel was one of the best in their country Ethiopia, the workers were friendly. Spacious room with good blanket stocked in the wardrobe.
I stayed one night here because the hotel is used by Ethiopian Airlines as a transit hotel. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The water in the bathroom was cold because I hadnt realised I was supposed to turn the boiler on. There was only one towel in the bathroom and a bar of soap. The staff wasnt particularly friendly but was nonetheless quite helpful. The buffet meals were ok.
The staffs in the hotels are stupids. They disturbed simply in the morning at 4 am. The quality of food is worst. They tell stories for everything and escape from the responsibilities. Even the rooms are very small and the taps were damaged. Overall I was not satisfied. Please dont plan to stay in this hotel.
The meeting hall is well furnished and attractive. But the size is not large.
Very bad service and rude behaviour of the receptionist.Food is also bad in quality..
Over experience was lovely, they have good service model. However they need to improve on their food department. Good we ate at dinner was cold and some good item such as breads were not fresh. Their juice was very light and cold
Very simple place, I did not like the breakfast.
Its a place where you will get scammed.. be very careful.. better avoid it ..
This is a good and pretty decent hotel. The rooms are average and spacious. The hotel is located off a main highway and the current entrance to the premises looks like its in an alley hence there is a bit of some traffic noise. However, the service from the hotel staff is good and the food is quite average. If you are spending a night then i definitely recommend. However if you plan to spend more than a night... Choice is yours.
